This one is definitely a pass for me, as I prefer glowy products. I could see the difference on the side you wore it with the star filter, so much better imo! Also fragrance on make up is a no for me as it gives me migraines! Thank you for the review❤

I still can’t get past the scent but the coverage is nice. I tend to keep this for filming

Hello Sara 👋 I hope you are feeling better...This time I am not tempted 😄😆 because I don't like matte foundations, I prefer a natural and glowy complexion. I wish you a beautiful new week! ☺️ 😘

Thank you 💕 I agree with you, I also prefer a more glowy foundation over matte

See on my mature combo oily skin I have a glowy finish especially in my t zone area where I get VERY shiny. Also the smell doesn’t bother me, Chanel foundations I cannot but because of the smell which is way stronger than the Louboutin for my nose at least

The scent is just awful, very strong and smells like a cheap perfume. Actually, some cheap perfumes smell better.
I am glad you mentioned it. Some foundations are scented, such as Chanel, but they are soft and discreet.

I agree, I thought it was just me that felt the scent was horrible. It is otherwise a good foundation overall, just can’t get over the scent

The initial awful scent makes this an easy product to avoid.

"Smells" (aka: fragrance) does not go away, you body acclimates to the scent--not a good thing. The fact that fragrance is such a blanketed term in the cosmetics industry is very concerning. The term fragrance can hold hundreds of harmful chemicals that companies are not legally obligated to disclose. If anyone is having a strong, immediate sensory reaction to any product, it is a clear indication you should not use it on your body. IMHO, these days, the perception/possession of luxury often impedes sensible judgement.

I am a board certified pharmacist and I get asked the question regarding fragrance in products all the time. The fragrance does evaporate however you’re correct the residual byproduct of fragrance does remain on the skin. As you know fragrance can be an irritant leading to redness and itchy skin which is why they are unnecessary in cosmetic products. The only reason why cosmetic companies include fragrance in their products is to mask the natural scent of the ingredients in the product which in most cases does not naturally smell very good and therefore companies believe it will add a negative experience to the consumer using the product. I believe since consumers are becoming more educated and realize that these “fragrances” are unnecessary and can have a negative effect on skin then perhaps cosmetic companies will realize we don’t really worry too much about the fragrance since we understand that the product is better for us without it. Thank you for your insight and promoting awareness 💕

@@SaraElBaff Thank you for your reply. I do not see anything natural about this foundation's ingredients: Isododecane, Aqua (Water), Dimethicone, Propanediol, Trimethylsiloxysilicate, Glycerin, Peg-10 Dimethicone, Silica, Peg/ppg-18/18 Dimethicone, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Polysilicone-11, Sodium Chloride, Phenoxyethanol, Propylene Carbonate, Caprylyl Glycol, Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract, Aluminum Hydroxide, Parfum (Fragrance), Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Ceramide Np, Amethyst Powder, Sodium Hyaluronate, Caprylic/capric Triglyceride, Decyl Glucoside, Hexylene Glycol, Undaria Pinnatifida Extract, Linalool, Citronellol, Geraniol, Alpha-isomethyl Ionone, Benzyl Salicylate, Citral. [ (+/-) May Contain: Ci 77891 (Titanium Dioxide), Ci 77491, Ci 77492, Ci 77499 (Iron Oxides)]
These are a plethora of silicones, chemicals, plastics, heavy metals and preservatives--sprinkled in with a couple of "natural" additives (I don't know how natural they are after chemical synthesis). I'm just really tired of companies blinding consumers with dazzling packaging, creative product write-ups and branding, all the while putting toxic chemicals in their formulas and charging top dollar. Regardless, the best to you and your health.

@@ifmakeupcouldtalk when I mentioned “natural” I meant the actual ingredient’s which in this case a lot of chemical actives that would not smell that great to a consumer on their own. I did not mean it in the sense that the ingredients are naturally occurring or good for your skin in any way. In this case this foundation is far from being “organically natural” given the ingredients you listed. Makeup in general unfortunately is mostly filled with inorganic chemicals. Sadly, a lot of skincare is as well. Much like being in a chemistry lab and mixing inorganic and organic chemicals together, you end up with a mix of ingredients that don’t smell that great which is why companies add perfume to mask the poor scent of the original ingredients. Not the right thing to do but nonetheless it’s what these companies do to continue to be profitable

Thank you so much for your review. I've been on the fence about this foundation. I'm super oily and I'm not a huge fan of full coverage but I think it still may be worth a try just thinly applied. At 48 I am not immune from pores and wrinkles. It really looks lovely on you. Your skin looks airbrushed.

Every time I wear this foundation I’ve been liking it more. It’s been my go to filming foundation because it really does give me an airbrushed look. As I mentioned in the video it’s not an everyday foundation. Perhaps if you can get a sample it’ll be worth it before committing to paying the full price without trying first. Thank you for your support 💕
