Parsa Jamnani Ah yes, I understand. That’s probably because I improvise/play by ear a lot. I try to keep the midi file where the sheets are based on the same as my video here, but there could be some minor differences. Both are correct, if you prefer one bit over another perhaps you can figure it out by watching really closely/listening really well. More I cannot do, good luck!
@@thecameraman8882 It took me around 4 hours to learn and 6 hours to arrange and record. But behind that is a lot of practice haha, you'll notice that if you're going to take on a similar piece in the future that it will go a bit faster probably :)
@@woutervanwijhepianist3664 How long does it take you to get the overall underlying rhythm and melody in a basic state, minus the polishing? It's a great rendition... Do you have to hum out the pitch while playing to get the right notes too?
@@AdamSmith-et1nb Its hard to say. After years of practice you have the basic state within an hour. Then its a few hours of arranging/polishing and recording. I suppose from a complete beginner position it would likely take around 3, maybe 4 years to learn pieces like this. I never hum melody's btw :)

I remember hearing this song on the radio when it was released! I remember thinking that it was a Mariah Carey song, too. Then, years later, I get into Asian music, and hear great things about an artist named Utada Hikaru. I like what I heard, and find out she released English language albums... and that this was actually her song! I was so shocked, but really, really pleased. Utada is a true artist in that she's a songwriter and producer in addition to being a vocalist. She's apparently working on a new album now, after a long hiatus, which I am happy about. This is one of my favourite tracks from her English-language discography. I hope she will release more English-language music in addition to her Japanese music. She really is amazing in both languages. I get chills when I hear the piano introduction in this song, so beautiful! And yes, for those who care, I am watching this (obviously) in 2015, a full 6 years after it's release!

One thing I like about this theme is that it is relaxing but the character did some evil things! 1. He kills Ardyn's fiancée 2. He helps Bahamut in the book (I think) 3. He betrays Ardyn and becomes the first King of Lucis

So happy you replied! i do need an advice though, I don't have a piano, I have a keyboard, and it only has 61 keys and sounds high pitched, i tried adjusting trans but it doesn't sound as good, and I don't know how to practice my speed, any tips? sorry for the bother xx
No problem at all :) Ah I have 88 keys so that's quite a difference. Perhaps make my runs a bit smaller with the left hand? Mostly I'm just taking a chord (for example an Cm) and improvise on it (By combing in the case of Cm the notes G. C. Eb in different orders/octaves). I don't know which tone exactly you would need to start but my runs don't necessarily need to be spread over two octaves. Hope you can find something that sounds right. To increase your speed just play a lot of broken chords and scales (something like this guy does in the first few seconds of the video: th-cam.com/video/-XOnl8NDClc/w-d-xo.html ). Start of slowly and increase your speed every day/practice moment. If you find that boring perhaps try to play songs you know at a higher tempo while maintining equal speed. Actually besides practicing a lot there isn't a better advice. Btw, I've had a few wrist injury's which kept me from playing for a few weeks-months, so if you feel pain in your hand/wrists I would suggest a break :) Hope it helps a little bit!
what do u think about the roland LX-17? is really worthy? cause is really expensive, im trying to buy a great digital piano, u recomend this roland product?
Depends on what you want I guess. It has a great sound and easy recording options. The recordings on my channel are unedited and straight from the piano. In real life it has 8 speakers instead of the two you hear in my video's so then it sounds (even) better. I would surely recommend it because I like this sound/playing style. I suppose you should just go to a piano store and play untill you 'fall in love' with a piano. That's what I did anyway ^^ . There are also cheaper models which sound great as well but require a bit more editing if you want to create videos etc.

Mostly I'm just taking a chord (for example an Cm) and improvise on it (By combing in the case of Cm the notes G. C. Eb in different orders/octaves). I don't know which tone exactly you would need to start but my runs don't necessarily need to be spread over two octaves. Hope you can find something that sounds right.
To increase your speed just play a lot of broken chords and scales (something like this guy does in the first few seconds of the video: th-cam.com/video/-XOnl8NDClc/w-d-xo.html ). Start of slowly and increase your speed every day/practice moment. If you find that boring perhaps try to play songs you know at a higher tempo while maintining equal speed. Actually besides practicing a lot there isn't a better advice. Btw, I've had a few wrist injury's which kept me from playing for a few weeks-months, so if you feel pain in your hand/wrists I would suggest a break :)

Depends on what you want I guess. It has a great sound and easy recording options. The recordings on my channel are unedited and straight from the piano. In real life it has 8 speakers instead of the two you hear in my video's so then it sounds (even) better. I would surely recommend it because I like this sound/playing style. I suppose you should just go to a piano store and play untill you 'fall in love' with a piano. That's what I did anyway ^^ . There are also cheaper models which sound great as well but require a bit more editing if you want to create videos etc.
