Awesome song, and I was at that concert. Thanks Vladimir for the footage. They also played this at Day of Maid in May and I was at that concert as well. If you order the special edition of their new album Epic Narratives it comes with a Blu Ray of the Day of Maid show, so that live performance will be on there.

@@markberry9233 No, I will better wait until they come to Europe. My Japanese experience was not very inspirational, to be honest. The organization of the concerts is very strange, you have to be extremely lucky to be anywhere near the stage. Also, they speak Japanese during Omajinai Time, so, I feel lost, my Japanese is absolutely not sufficient to follow what they say. And to get a visa to Japan... it's a serious adventure in itself. I won two tickets for the Hall Tour, and in the end I decided not to go.

Saiki's singing is superb, but Miku's screaming is out of this world good. Like in influencer Miku goes an octave above Saiki, wow Miku can sing the high notes so damn well. Amazing. Thanks Vladimir for sharing.

Vladimir, I keep coming back to this song because it helps me to re-live the live experience. When Miku lets out that screamed high note, you can hear the crowd go completely unhinged. And as loud as it sounds here, what folks that haven't seen them don't get is that the mic is faced away from the crowd. The crowd is DEAFENING when she does that. I've never had both tears and the hair standing straight up on my arms before Band-Maid!!
Oh, LA was crazy! I never heard the crowd to be so loud. And people on Reddit complained later that some drunk guys had started a mosh pit, and that was very unusual for a BAND-MAID OKYUJI.

Such an underrated song of a high calibre. Typical brilliant songwriting from Kanami with tha classic scream from Miku so appreciated by the fans here..

Kanami mentioned that the song is not complete before they perform it live. And I think it's true. You see them figuring out little by little how the song should best sound when played live, and in the end each song settles in some "classical" form, so to say. And then the perception of the studio recording also changes.

Thank you, finally getting around to seeing this one! It sounded so different to me that I went back to the album version and it’s like the first time I’m hearing it again. the live and record version complement each other very well, they reveal things that the other doesn’t have.

Vai demorar ainda. O número de visualizações aqui ainda é muito baixo. A chance é elas passarem por Lima e Santiago e de quebra um show em SP. Mas no ano que vem deve ser a vez da Europa. A Live Nation tem vários festivais por lá. Mas é bom ver que tem mais brasileiro comentando sobre B-M. O mercado da AL é fraco comparado com a Europa.

If Miku's scream was not a backing track, that was impressive. Also, It seems Saiki sang different notes leading into the solo. Nonetheless, this song has one of my favorite short Kanami solos but I could not hear it as well thru here. Thanks for the upload!
It is not a backing track - you can clearly hear it at the end of her screams, it's obviously live - and impressive!

Hmmm... It's not noticeable during the show. Actually, the sound was pretty bad. Alan from DICODEC said he wore noise-cancelling AirPods and then was able to hear everything clear. I think the phone does a similar job, clearing the sound from reverb and other artifacts. So, you now scrutinize a much better version than the one we all heard on the spot. Yes, they are making mistakes, but come on, it's a live performance. Compare them to the other bands: it's very rare to find a band which can nail it this way during a show.
Kanami makes mistakes when she's tired. The tour logistics are not that easy, after all. I hope they stay in the hotels on their days off, not just sleeping in the bus all the time.
@@VladimirChupin No no she's been incredible. I meant how she was many years ago, Saiki's range used to be more limited. Her range now is amazing. She can hit the same note as Miku 2:35, also the low register in alone. Everyone talks about Miku's scream and I don't think Saiki is getting enough recognition that she deserves.

Yes, TH-cam really misbehaves. It tells me all videos are now fully processed, but some of them appeared in HD quality, while others still in SD, i.e. 360p.

es una lastima que Saiki falla tanto en la notas altas eso es un problemas de ni tener un buen profesor de canto , ya que si tiene la capacidad pero le falta mucho entrenamiento con sus cuerdas me llama la atención que en tantos años no pueda solucionar ese problema que viene acarreando de la época en la cual saco "domination"la canción que mas le costo en ese momento era " Can't Live Without You" que para mi es unas de las mejores canciones pero mas difíciles para Saiki pero nunca pudo cantarla como se debe por eso mismo es una de las canciones que menos tocan por su exigencia es una lastima que les pase eso ya que eso pesa mucho para el crecimiento de la banda
You forgot to add that IMO!
Saiki's range is pretty good, I would not say she's really struggling with the high notes. Her voice is lower than Miku's, of course, and she would definitely not be able to hit that high note in SAYONAKIDORI. But Kanami carefully writes the BAND-MAID music in such a way that Saiki can sing what she is able to sing. I remember that in one interview Saiki even said that after a vocal class, if she succeeded in hitting a higher note than before, she would call Kanami immediately and share these news. And Kanami would then write a vocal part for her with that information in mind.
