Band-Maid: “DOMINATION,” “glory,” BLACK HOLE,” “Screaming,” “Don’t you tell ME” - May 24, 2023

- The first five songs of Band-Maid’s performance at St. Andrew’s Hall, May 24, 2023, in Detroit, Michigan. This was part of their 10th Anniversary Tour.
The moment I heard and watched the video "Thrill" I was an instant Maidiac and had to watch more videos to confirm my disbelief that a group of 5 young Japanese girls could produce such tight hard driving pounding beautiful music with not one vocalists but two. Fast forward to seeing them in concert for the first time at St. Andrews Hall in Detroit where at this point, I've seen pretty much every video and heard every song. I am at the point where I'm watching first time reaction videos of people hearing them for the first time to see if their reactions were similar to what I had when seeing and hearing them for the very first time. I thought their talent musically was at a very high level until I put headphones on and listened to their CD "Unleashed". My ears were in heaven because I was experiencing songs at a whole other level than before and discovered a whole different perspective and was hearing little nuances from each song that I must have missed by watching just the videos. The song called "I'll" is absolute fire and might be one of the hardest rocking powerhouse songs I've ever heard period! I hope they release a live or official video to that song because it might be their best IMO. Listening to their music is like listening to a hard rock symphony or rock opera with Anime undertones. I could go on and on but I just want to say thank you Band-Maid for coming together as a super group of highly skilled individual musicians to create some of the best rock music my ears have ever heard! Band-Maid Forever!

I'm on the fence with my video from Detroit, but I was sitting right next to one of those annoying finger whistlers and there are probably some salty comments on my part about it on audio. With me not posting Chicago, either, though, I probably will just sit on this as well.

I'm almost done with covering all of the Japanese Lesson Time with Saiki Sensei from the 2022 US Tour. Just finishing up the NYC show now, and will upload it probably tonight. And then will need to review Boston, NJ and Chicago to finish up the 2022 US Tour. After that, I will do Q&A reviews from Houston, Austin, Atlanta, Tennessee and Detroit. Hopefully all of the Q&A videos are up on TH-cam.

Thanks so much for uploading. This part of the setlist blew my mind - possibly "because" of the tech issues, and how raw and heavier it was in the room.

I heard the mistake of beat and note akane and kanami black hole after Miku ratatata.. and I was amaze how professional they are to overcome that smooth exit, this is the testament how great musicians they are

It's not clear who made a mistake earlier in Black hole, maybe Kanami, I just know that at a certain point even Miku wasn't understanding anything anymore ahahaha ❤

Honestly this tour is the first time in their career, that I've seen anyways, that Akane made not one but a few mistakes. Weird.
