Where did you book the train tickets? It’s there any type of website?
Did you make a reservation for the tour and accommodation?
I didn't book a tour, Touring Tam Coc and Ninh Binh are fairly easy to visit on your own but having a guide to tell you more about the place would have made the experience more unique.
I'd recommend going and coming back with the train, the bus journey was a bit of a nightmare.
For the accommodation, there are plenty of hotels that you can book online 😙
