Triban GRVL 520 to solidnie zbudowana maszyna, która ma w sobie wszystko czego potrzeba na start, a nawet więcej. Nice review @Harda Horda! I miss some comments on the shifting quality of SRAM's Apex 1, though, and I have a different opinion on some of the bike's aspects or parts:
1. IMHO the brakes offer really impressive stopping power. In the drop bar position, with one single finger I can easily block the front or back wheel. Nice modulation. For me, the best semihydraulics on the market.
2. The SRAM Apex 1 is a very good choice for gravel, because there is almost no chain slap and the chain never falls off from the chainring, even on the roughest terrain. The gearchange is also very silent. Although, it just doesn't shift as precisely and as quickly as, for example, the Shimano 105 that I have on my other bike. Shifting errors are more common than with Shimano 105 (that's my personal opinion after 4 months of using it.)
3. SRAM's double tap system is just a matter of taste. I like Shimano's system better, because when shifting to a lower gear with the Apex 1 levers, it often happens to me that I've shifted two gears instead of one. That never happened to me with the 105. In addition, for a satisfying shifting experience, the Apex 1 needs VERY precise adjustment! Regardless, I think that the Apex 1 is a very good choice for gravel and rougher terrain, and with a 11-42 cassette and a 40 chainring, you can tackle almost every terrain with a 1x11 setup. I also really like the ergonomics of the Apex 1 levers. They are comfortable and you won't slip off.
4. The comfort of the bike is excellent. Especially in the drop bar position, you can go very fast and comfortably even on very rough terrain.
5. Directional stability is excellent. I've never felt so confident with a bike on gravel, mud and dirt roads.
6. With around 11 kg in size M, the bike is not a featherweight. As mentioned in the video, the rear cassette alone weights more tha 500 g.
7. It's not meant for really high speed on the road. In the highest gear, pedaling with a cadence of 90 rpm, you'll go 41,5 km/h. Enough for any gravel adventure, but not for faster road cycling, even with 28 inches tyres. Overall, I think it's a decent bike for the price. Many bikes with almost the same setup will cost you around 1.500 €. Well done, Decathlon. There are almost no reviews about the bike, I'm really happy that someone is finally testing the bike.

Oferta Dechatlonu na czele z Van Rysel zaczyna być imponująca: aluminiowe gravele, karbonowy gravel i tytanowy gravel, którego recenzje obejrzał bym z wielką chcęcią. Dodatkowo nie ma obecnie na polskim yt żadnego testu tego tytana, więc zasięg filmu mógłby być potężny.
Dodam tylko, że topowy CX też wygląda co najmniej ciekawie...

Niestety nie doczekałem się na GRVL520 w supercompact shimano 105. Szkoda, bo myślę ze był bym zadowolony. Wpadł Esker 6.0 od Krossa na GRX810 ze sztywnymi osiami (których brak w GRVL520). Pozdrawiam, subskrybuję.
też mam 180cm ale przekrok 81 cm, nie mogę znaleźć informacji jak wysokie są te tribany w rozmiarze M i L.. Ogólnie rower wydaje się dość krótki, ale zastanawiam się czy górna rura nie idzie w nim zbyt wysoko..
Mam wersję czerwoną. Fajny rower ale przy elektrycznym trekkingu i full suspension mtb bardzo mało na nim jeżdżę. Jestem słabo rozciągnięty i jak dla mnie kierownica jest trochę nisko.
blocking the wheels doesn't mean you break better. Not even at all. They probably went with this setup because it's safer and probably brake just as good as "higher end" brakes.

Ostatnio pytałem o model CX...luty/marzec. Przypuszczam, że pozostałe tak samo. Kto to jeździ zimą na rowerze;)
Jaka jest szerokość kierownicy w tym rowerze.
Nie mierzyliśmy, ale ufam, że na stronie dane są ok:

Mniejsze koła tzn. jakie ?
Napęd 2x11 jakie ma blaty ?
Sztywny rower nie jest w teren. To wielkie kłamstwo producentow. Gravele są tylko na drogi (polne, leśne, szyty, asfalt) ale na drogi.
Przecież powiedział, że 650 te mniejsze
