Can't thank you enough for the support and kind words! What a great video! Covers so much helpful modding techniques and should be very helpful for those wanting to upgrade!! 🤘🍻
It's an expensive mod, but I it to all my cabs to make it look consistent. I love how the Retro530 coin buttons are flush when installed on his coin doors. My coin buttons are raise higher over the arcade1up coin door, but it does the job. Probably my favorite coin door is my TMNT cab, I made the lights green on that cab.
Great piece of kit from Retro530. Definitely makes it easier for anyone wanting to have functioning coin door buttons. When I put my own kit together, I had to source from multiple vendors to achieve the same thing. This definitely simplifies it, and the price is reasonable.
I'm debating on getting these doors just to switch out the newer A1Up coin doors that have those giant chrome Arcade1Up logos on them. Too bad it's so pricey for Canadians to have it shipped.
Unfortunately not, the stock 1up coin door buttons are a different size. The best you can do is light them up with LEDs. RETRO530 has a light up kit for the stock coin doors here: www.retro530.com/product-page/arcade1up-led-kit-for-new-coin-doors
Lol, wow 22+ cabs would be a lot. 😄 at least you can get a 10% Discount and actually would recommend reaching out to Laramie directly and see if could hook up a bulk order for you
6:40 Rather than defacing that piece, I'd rather buy or make a panel replacement to hack up. Its just 1/4" mdf or melamine. Black finish or spray black. Simple square cut. Store original panel. Done
I don't really understand how you could consider this "probably the best coin door on the market". For the same price you paid for this fake plastic door and button upgrade, you could get a real metal coin door with a working coin acceptor from Xarcade. Granted it may not be designed to be in exact replacement for an arcade 1up door but it would be a pretty easy installation. All you might need is a jigsaw or even just a jab saw.
❤❤ AWESOME “BUT” I have been waiting for SOMEONE to make a Coin Door Just like that one ☝️ But with industrial Velcro and behind the Red Coin Door buttons have a Battery 🔋 Operated 2-Red LED LIGHTS already pre Wired up! Haha 😂 EVERYONE WOULD BUY THEM INSTANTLY!!! Because seriously all you would need to do is turn on the battery lights and Velcro the whole thing STRAIGHT ONTO ANY ARCADE1UP!!! Haha 😂 NO DRILLING NO CUTTING ANYTHING NO WIRING ANYTHING Just turn it on Slap 👋 it on a Arcade1up Cab! Bam 💥 Done ✅ PLEASE 🙏🏻 SEND MY IDEA TO EVERYONE THAT MAKES THESE COIN DOORS
Good idea! But then you'd have to also constantly turn the battery on and off when you turn on your cabs. At least when you power it thru the PCB, it turns on automatically which is nice!
@@KongsRUs 😂😂 Yes 👍 True LoL 😂 But i don’t think people would mind having a little on/Off switch so they don’t have to worry about drilling or cutting or wiring Haha 😂

You actually added the harness we spoke about last year! I can't believe it! I'll be ordering some of those! Woohoo!
Wonderful product and happy to support your awesome work Laramie. Mods for modders by modders!! Love it dude, keep it up!
Thanks, Jason! Constructive feedback from great community members like yourself helps generate new intuitive ideas and products. Thanks!!!
I really appreciate that,@@REALRETRO530 -- I only have a couple left that don't have doors now so I'll be in touch!
Getting these for my current mod
Project utilizing the raspberry Pi.
An amazing video Bee. I bought this kit for my Atari Legacy but haven't gotten around to installing it yet. Now I have a video guide! Great job!
Thanks!

That's cool you spliced your own Wiring kit together! This definitely makes it simpler
This channel has inspired me to do all my A1U mods so far. Keep pushin that line Kong! You are Appreciated!
Thanks for the feedback! Keep on modding
This is pretty sweet!
Excellent tutorial! I purchased two of these months ago, and they're really beautiful! Love them!
Thanks Jason! These are great for sure
Awesome video! Retro530 has the best products!
Love his products!
Thanks !!
Will this work on the legends ultimate?
I don't have a an ALU cab, but I would think so since there's USB slots on the ALU. You'll have to drill holes the same method
Thanks for the reply and video. I did order 2 coin door kits and put them on my ALU cab, and I love it.

Ahh, maybe the 10% Discount could help with shipping?
@@KongsRUs certainly does!
I was just looking at these wondering where I can get a chrome arcade1up logo to add on to it lol
@@RobotRon_2084 😆🤮
Haha, I like chrome things too
Great product and how-to vid! Would the retro530 working buttons fit stock Arcade1up molded coin doors?

I need this on all my cabs (22+ and counting). So cool to make it functional. Only problem is it will cost a fortune, lol

Where did you get the custom wire harnesses for splicing the coin buttons?
Retro530 offers it on his site. www.retro530.com/product-page/a1up-encoder-splitter-wire-kit

Will this fit on big blue with the internal boards inside?
Yes, it should
