Freiberg itself is considered a very cheap city compared to other cities in Germany, such as Leipzig or Halle. If you are considering options near Freiberg, we advise you to pay attention to cities such as Rieselfeld and Vauban, where monthly rent for a one-room apartment will cost around 700 euros.

German law allows students to work part-time, but not more than a few days a week and in the evening (if we are talking about official part-time work, for example, as a waiter or a flyer distributor, etc.). Approximate earnings will be around 300-600 euros per month.

It all depends on the subjects you choose and the schedule of a particular semester. As a rule, on average, it is 3-4 school days a week + the rest of the time for independent study of the subject, preparation for practice, etc.
