For me, It is the Max Factor Lasting Performance Foundation. I know it is not really popular in USA, it used to be available some good years ago, now I read it is coming back. It is available on Amazon, though. It is a great foundation, yet you don't see many vlogs/reviews about this product. Zabrena, maybe you give it a try and tell us what you think. Wow! Luminoso is still my favorite blush, and I love the Naked palette. My original got destroyed during Hurricane Michael. Shortly after that when I went to replace it, I found out that they were retiring it and snagged a half price one. The oldest thing is my Revlon sandstorm quad eyeshadow. It used to be called soft plum frosts. I went through several of those before they disappeared. Love and blessings to you and your family!

And you did one on what to do if a pan breaks or how to fix make-up that has broken (lipstick or pressed). Could you revisit those ideas?

Hi Zabrena I've been around more than long enough to remember the original naked palette lol. Sleek is still widely available in the UK, but may have withdrawn from the US market (I believe it's either a UK or European brand). Most of my old school faves were from Bobbi Brown - who remembers the pots of gel liner, the pot rouge blushes and the shimmer bricks? I had all of those in various shades. I also had quite a few Bobbi Brown lipsticks and wore the tinted extra repair balm in alabaster/extra light for years (I have dry, rosacea and eczema prone skin now, but even back then had dry/eczema prone skin). I also owned a lot of bare minerals and Laura Gellor products and even now use some of their products regularly - the balance n brighten is a long term staple, as a touch up powder with a bit of coverage that doesn't look dry/cakey on my dry skin. Bare minerals lipsticks have always been decent and suited my sensitive skin/lips, but I have enjoyed their loose pigments and shadows in the past (not so much their current eyeshadow formula be warned). This was time in my life where I had more disposable income and bought mostly higher end makeup tbh - I've always loved wandering around a department store visiting all the makeup counters trying stuff on, getting samples and swatching. TH-cam back then you bought a pallette and there were tutorials for months on how to use it back when you got chance to enjoy your make up before the next best thing replaced it like it does so quickly now I think this type of make up video should come back it all seems to be about buying the next best thing rather than having a curated collection that you use over and over and love and get to see the bottom of the pan 🥰

My first high end makeup was UD Naked 2 pallet, prior to retiring I never heard of anything except drugstore makeup. I retired about 10 years ago. I’m a retired nurse and I rarely wore makeup back then. I lived in Florida for about 20+ years and back in my day know one wore sunscreen (paying for it know!) I am a very pale skin and blonde with many hours in the sun. Usually the beach/pool then work and repeat. So usually blush and mascara were it since I finally started to get a tan. I was really late to the game on higher end makeup, but I sure was excited to get my first UD palette.
That Sleek highlight palette is one of the best, drugstore or not --- and I still have one and deliberately don't use it often as I want to keep it 😂 and I've always loved the Revlon brow pencils, they're perfect, nothing else needed.
Never liked luminoso on my me as a blush but it’s my day-to-day crease shade! Still use my naked palette; but I sanitized it a few times now 😅😅😅 half baked is still one of my favorite shades, thanks for the walk down memory lane 😊 To the miss Givenchy subscriber, your husband sounds hilarious 🤣

Nobody talks about Sleek any more. You can still get them in Boots in the UK. I had that highlighter palette and I used to use their eyeshadow palettes all the time. Essence in Satin Mauve was my favourite lip liner. I was so sad when they discontinued that. I've been trying to find a dupe ever since. Emma x

TH-cam back then you bought a pallette and there were tutorials for months on how to use it back when you got chance to enjoy your make up before the next best thing replaced it like it does so quickly now I think this type of make up video should come back it all seems to be about buying the next best thing rather than having a curated collection that you use over and over and love and get to see the bottom of the pan 🥰
This would be funny flipped... makeup you once loved, but looking back did not actually work well/look good. A full face of that would make for some laughs 😆
Maybelline define a brow...the green pencil with a comb on the end....yes a comb not a spoolie. That was my very first brow product, back before filling in your brows was a thing that we all did.
I use the Revlon Candid foundation every day! I love it. It's hard to find though. I order from Amazon and it's under 5.00.
Awesome video Zabrena. I remember when you did a video about some palettes from 5and blow, The palettes are call Beauty Treats and one of the palette looks like the Viseart Neutral Mattes and there was other too, When you said that I went and I bout both of palettes.
My first high end makeup was UD Naked 2 pallet, prior to retiring I never heard of anything except drugstore makeup. I retired about 10 years ago. I’m a retired nurse and I rarely wore makeup back then. I lived in Florida for about 20+ years and back in my day know one wore sunscreen (paying for it know!) I am a very pale skin and blonde with many hours in the sun. Usually the beach/pool then work and repeat. So usually blush and mascara were it since I finally started to get a tan. I was really late to the game on higher end makeup, but I sure was excited to get my first UD palette.
I still have the candid foundation! And the elf camo!
That Sleek highlight palette is one of the best, drugstore or not --- and I still have one and deliberately don't use it often as I want to keep it 😂 and I've always loved the Revlon brow pencils, they're perfect, nothing else needed.

Never liked luminoso on my me as a blush but it’s my day-to-day crease shade! Still use my naked palette; but I sanitized it a few times now 😅😅😅 half baked is still one of my favorite shades, thanks for the walk down memory lane 😊 To the miss Givenchy subscriber, your husband sounds hilarious 🤣

I bought the colourpop coconut beach bronzer because of your recommendation years ago. It has become my favorite go-to product! I almost cried when I ran out and they were out of stock for the longest time lol. But I finally managed to get another one recently and I am in heaven again.
My old school favorite is the Stila smudge pot eyeliner

I just wore Milani Luminoso yesterday! When I was taking my make up off last night, I thought - "Wow! I can still see my blush! What did I put on this morning?" Of course - it was an OG product! ;) Fun video!

Nobody talks about Sleek any more. You can still get them in Boots in the UK. I had that highlighter palette and I used to use their eyeshadow palettes all the time. Essence in Satin Mauve was my favourite lip liner. I was so sad when they discontinued that. I've been trying to find a dupe ever since. Emma x

I just repurchased Milani's Luminoso today! Its really more or a hghlighter for me One thing Im seeing tho is drugstore makeup is getting so expensive! Everything from mascara to foundation runs 15-21 dollars Wet and wild, essence and a few other brnds are keeping prices low, butat this rate, The afordable and housebrands at sephora are same price
