I am thrilled! I was able to get a beautiful bob cut in 10 minutes with my husband's help. No more cutting for an hour myself to get the vertical layers. I just did this technique plus your bob layers video. Woo hoo! It looks great! So glad I purchased a Creaclip. Thank you!
Great video! I followed this guide and it came out very well. Got a friend to clean up a few stray hairs in the back. I used hair scissors and made little 45 degree snips along the bottom of the clip for a more textured look rather than the blunt look the model had in this video. I know a lot of people in the comments are bashing this product but honestly I've had my hair seriously screwed up by hair dressers, I'd rather do it myself practically for free (besides the initial $30 clip + $5 scissors + $5 salon cape investment) than pay somebody to butcher it! Plus the crea clip saves me a lot of time, it used to take 30 to 45 minutes for me to cut my hair with just scissors and now it's about 5 minutes with the clip, and now my haircut always comes out perfectly even!
I DID IT! From Over--Shoulder-Lenght to Chin length!! I must admit, first i thought, Maybe this wasn't the best idea and it was not soo easy - bit of a pain to check on the level ... but it looks just great and i get many compliments and when i say, i cut it myself, jaws are dropping :-))) . Thanks for this genius invention! Greetings from Germany!!
This is incredible I don't know what these people are talking about it will save lots of money if you do it yourself great job, need to get one of these
No problem I do hair but never been to hair school I've used this method with all my ladies and they love it as well thanks for this because I got way more clients now :))
I think it's a cute cut. Of course you're going to have professionals and trolls coming in here yelling about it being awful. Ignore them. It looks fine and is a great option for those that want to try to do it themselves. Obviously it's not going to give a super perfect cut... which is why you'll need to clean it up a bit, but it looked like it got the job done. I've been using the larger curved creaclip on my hair for a few years now to create layers and am very happy with the product. Whenever I go shorter, I'll be trying this.
+Sarah Johnson You don't need a professional to cut hair anymore than you need a professional to make you breakfast. You are good enough and so is everyone else.
+Haven Clark professionals are called that for a very reason. way different than cooking. see those hairs under her neck? that loomg strand. those blunt cut lines?
@@sarahjohnson34 Been doing my own hair (not a bob yet) for years, nobody ever said it looked bad. All the cuts I've had, made me cry, they always made me hate my hair. Practise makes perfect. Professionals earn on ppl who just don't want to do it themselves, not because it's a rocket science.
I'm shocked at how well this turned out. While I won't be cutting my hair anytime soon as I'm trying to grow it out, I have to admit that it's a pretty cool tool.
She was trying hard not to cry. I understand her, the ends were really uneven! But then she looked happier when someone secretly fixed her hair without telling to the costumers about it! Way to go, that's exactly what I expect from any company that has a little respect for their clients!👏👏👏
this has definitely been trimmed/cleaned up with scissors- they showed obvious jagged bits on close up that were 'miraculously' gone in the final shot.. Crea clip looks like it would be good for getting the initial shape only.
+Alana Thomas it has most definitely been cleaned up after, you can tell why, because when she first took the thing off and looked downwards, it was very jagged underneath, all that has to come off, trimmed to the basic outline for a crisp, clean cut. I have this cut, but although I am a qualified hairdresser, I wouldn't even attempt to cut my own hair in a precision style.
Gotta do what she gotta do in these times til shops open up. I had to chop my long hair myself also, not even but itll do for now . Hairstylists should be essential too lol.
I've been cutting my own hair for a while. The back needs evening out, there's an obvious layer there and it doesn't look good that's because the hair is stacked in the center when she cuts. I can see this product working well for bangs. Remember hair, when gathered at the ends should look like tip of a makeup brush.
The finshing touch doesnt look hacked. It looks great! The economy is bad, people are trying to save money. $29 is nothing compared to an expensive haircut every 3 months or so. Its reuseable plus you can create other styles with it. I consider it a good investment.
This is exactly how I trim my own back of my hair myself. I use a mirror in front so I can always see the back of my head and then I slide the clip down (my hair is about to the bottom of my neck) and I use a clipper to just cut it off. My arms JUST make it for this length. :) Any longer and you would need someone to cut it for you.
The hair cut does look bad, but it is enough of a guide to clean it up with scissors to make it look decent. I have been to so many hairdressers and they are all garbage, sick of paying someone to jack up my hair
Same here! Sick of professional hairstylists that are horrible at cutting hair & sick of wasting so much money for bad haircuts. I can't believe how many garbage hairdressers there are. It's nearly impossible to find a hairdresser that actually knows what they are doing & actually is talented enough to properly cut hair.
Just ordered one. Hopefully this will help me get a better cut. Hairdressers are so overpriced and can't even do a decent job. Can't wait to try it when it arrives! + will save lots of $
Well I enjoyed the video. I didn't use the clip but I used the same method with my fingers and it turned out really great and I have never done this before. Great video
if you watch shes actually tilting the clip as she does it. The bubbles supposed to be in the middle so you know its level but its as far to the left as it can go.
If you're going to get this, you need to invest in getting a razor to shape your hair afterwards just to soften out the blunt lines that you end up with. I cut family hair with this and if you have a razor with a a feathering attachment you can do a pretty nice hair cut (simple styles). Of course it won't look overly professional but for those who can't afford to get haircuts or don't have time to wait for appointments, etc, these things are a good investment.
@itssarahemily its because her hair is parted on the side so when she pulls it to the back it has more length to travel so that side will be longer if she parted it in the center and then cut it it would be the same length on both sides
Wow, so glad im not the only one who thinks this was bad and im not even a stylist. I was looking for an easier way to give myself a cut like this but oh well, scissors it is!
There is so much more that goes in to perfecting a bob. The haircut in this video looks so-so. Not the greatest but obviously some people are ok with it. There is no personalization or texturizing of the cut. But for those who want to save $$ and have an ok haircut, I guess it works. These videos of do-it-yourself usually brings more clients into the salon needing cuts fixed.
tried this.. it leaves you with a ton of random long pieces and someone else needs to go in to clean it up, that's if it even turns out slightly decent.
I think if you made his with a very tight band it would look way better and you wouldn't have to pay. Yes you will definetely have to cut it clean later to make it look softer but it will still need less time than this thing!
There is no place for professional hairdressers opinions, or sofa critics coming to explain why this is bad, we all know the risks by cutting it ourselves, we are here to be more careful obviously and because we want to save money!
Mine's a lot thicker, even when straight, and goes down passed bra strap length. I'm multiracial (black, white, Native American), with similar hair to Alicia Keys, only thicker. These clips work fine--though not sure I'd have the guts to do an A-line bob on my own haha (I do long layers with it to lessen the bulk). The most common line I receive from a new stylist, ever since I was a kid, has been "damn girl, you have a lot of hair." It's fun to watch their eyes widen when I walk in the door. ;)
IronDiva-I was a hairdresser for more than six years. My boss wouldn't let anyone cut hair unless they had an apprenticeship with him first. It seemed to me that I spent the first two years repairing haircuts that were given by friends or in other salons.
it would be better if there is an attached razor to the clip which you can lift when you putting your hair in and close to cut when you feel its ready. Also leveling bit attached on the clip can be useless as your head needs to be perfectly leveled first to get your hair leveled in the clip.
Pretty good for someone that cut her own hair, if you are watching this clip it's because you want to cut your own hair! Why do you comment to go to a professional when this video was meant for someone who wants to cut their own hair! Looks good for a self cut! I've seen worse!

I'm in agreement! I use the very long curved one for my bangs and point cut my bangs afterwards for a more wispy fringe. :)
What scissors?

no it looks uneven in the back and it looks bad, I would never cut my own hair period, cuz I am not a professional.

exactly what i wanted i didnt know how to get that longer bang side and that its that easy ! thank you
I'm shocked at how well this turned out. While I won't be cutting my hair anytime soon as I'm trying to grow it out, I have to admit that it's a pretty cool tool.
I like the inverted cuts so that they dont flip so easy but for a quickie this is amazing thanks

Looks good
Ohh yeahh happiness is a state of mind they said 😂😂😂😂
I love my Creaclip! I get so many compliments on my hair!
she's so pretty
zzz
+Amariutei Lucian haha I don't remember commenting that
hahaha
The model's hair was uneven when she put it in the clip, so it was uneven when she took it out. it was cleaned up before it was styled!
That's exactly what I thought!
Someone else noticed besides me.
Yup. They cheated.
Sharon La Tour yep for sure someone’s must have helped..it was uneven before the straightening

Same here my shit is botched rn. They cut off 12 inches for it to look like crap

She has great hair!!
an a-line bob is where the FRONT is longer than the back, an asymmetrical cut is where one SIDE is longer than the other.
Any thoughts on how to make more angled edges in the front? Hoping someone's figured out...
Just ordered one. Hopefully this will help me get a better cut. Hairdressers are so overpriced and can't even do a decent job. Can't wait to try it when it arrives! + will save lots of $
+Dina Farmer Call me when you fuck up your hair
+sizzorgirl67 i was just about to say. Lol.
This is exactly the video I was looking for! Thank you creaclip for this groundbreaking invention!
@Sweet3323 no, an a line bob is supposed to be longer at the front than the the back, not the left/right longer than the other. "lol"
I think it looks fabulous.
Well I enjoyed the video. I didn't use the clip but I used the same method with my fingers and it turned out really great and I have never done this before. Great video
Jae McLean t
That's beautiful and looks so professional
if you watch shes actually tilting the clip as she does it. The bubbles supposed to be in the middle so you know its level but its as far to the left as it can go.
I tried this with snack bag clipper...ofcourse with a lot of extra hair to trim.later.
We should call her,,, "Hey! Bob or hey! Bobby!"😂😂
This clip and trimmer idea is brilliant for a diy!! Special Thank you, courtesy covid-scare!!
LOVE THIS CUT... IT IS VERY PRACTICAL
I must get one of these! Ive seen a lot of videos with people using them. So much easier looking that the rubber band technique thing. :D!
i actually like that one side is longer than the other. i say it looks pretty
No cape? I like the facts it's easy and unstructured.
so beautiful and easy step!
I have been using this method for cutting my own hair when it was long.
Thanks
I just did it and it works!!!!
It is Beautiful ! She made it look simple to do ....

That is just gorgeous.
I did it with a pony tail :p it's pretty much the same but it's harder to cut since the hair is thicker.
Someone fixed it at the end result! Scam
Agreed
You fix it too when cutting it with scissors the normal way..
Hi
Right!!! Lol
Yes,still need to fix at the back.
I love the product. I noticed that someone, obviously, cleaned up the missed hairs, for the end shot ;)
@itssarahemily its because her hair is parted on the side so when she pulls it to the back it has more length to travel so that side will be longer if she parted it in the center and then cut it it would be the same length on both sides
that's the look. it's called the asymmetrical a-line bob, i personally thinks it looks really classy and sexy :)
Wow, so glad im not the only one who thinks this was bad and im not even a stylist. I was looking for an easier way to give myself a cut like this but oh well, scissors it is!
Cassandra Holiday Did you purchase and use it?
No, i cut it myself and dyed it fushia and raspberry red. Love my new hair!
Cassandra Holiday i wannit wannit
Wat am I saying?

love this haircut!
It looks so pretty!! I'm definitely getting this style😍😍👍
Why does everyone think the cut looks bad? I think it looks lovely.
I agree.
Because the uneven lines left underneath . That's not the proper way to do an A line bob
It's not an a-line bob
Luv that creaclip!!
This is awesome, I wanna get one but no money at the moment...but it will definitely be on my list. :)
tried this.. it leaves you with a ton of random long pieces and someone else needs to go in to clean it up, that's if it even turns out slightly decent.

me encanto asi lo tenia hace tiempo atras me re contra encanto gracias poir compartir tus ideas..
This turned out GREAT!...but i am too chicken to try on myself....lol.
Very pretty!
awe i want one of those
man i just did this and it turned out wonderfull iam soo excited it looks great i used two jumbo clips same tunout yay me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I use a Pampered Chef Twixit bread clip. Looks like the same thing without that silly level. I won't say it's a great cut, but is cheap...!
so cute !!
Made my day!
Saç kesimi çok pratik .Kullanılan aletin adı nedir.? Türkiye'de var mıdır?
what if you want it to be more layered in the back?
would you do the same technique for doing layers?
and how much hair would you section off?
please make more videos your hair cut is so attractive
OMG That is so much easy.
Love the tool. My mom just won't let me cut my own hair.
There is no place for professional hairdressers opinions, or sofa critics coming to explain why this is bad, we all know the risks by cutting it ourselves, we are here to be more careful obviously and because we want to save money!
Incredible!!!!
Wow! That is cool!
I can't even try to do this, my hair is very thick to fit in that tiny clip
Better have one super strong buzzer, and then go back and go the other way. Cutting one way angles the hair and will be longer that way
great! I like it so much. I like to cut ny hair by myself.
I want A-line bob badly

Yeah, you can do this at home yourself. That's exactly why I had a long and intense apprenticeship at a top Manhattan salon.

@hathor261 an a line bob is supposed to be longer at the front than the back, not one side longed than the other.
My heart suddenly broke at 1:20. But the result was perfect! Good job! Congrats!
I LIKE IT!
Need to get me one of those
love my creaclip!
Brb, going to get my chip clip
Wow I need one of those....
Me too
Awesome job thanks so much
that looks really nice!
so doing this tonight!!!
+mari jane How did it come out?
i also have bob cut ....but my hair is curved in down ...what can i do to make it like yours

@creaclip is a very nice haircut! ^^
This helped alot!!
can you do a video of someone with long hair doing a blunt one length cut on their own without a helper.
What kind of cut does she have before she cut her hair ?
round 1 length
I like it👍
i love my creaclip...one day when i get brave i'll try this look!
Soy de Peru como hago para conseguir esas vinchas...gracias por tu respuesta
