Hi Nick, it's been so. long. 1 & half year ago, I was going thru a divorce but that time I chatted with casually on TH-cam comments and also based on your teaching I flew to Thailand (at Koh Samui) and took meditation class. I really felt good and survived the bad time of my life. Few months back I met a wonderful person and just last month I got married. Right now she is in Mumbai and I am in Seattle. We are both on the hotbed of Coronavirus crisis. We both are holding each other over face time. & skyppe. Both during the crisis time, we now spend more time together and it has bought us a strong bonding. I am very nervous, anxious and worried, especially knowing that we both are so apart. Her visa processing has started but hoping to get it in next 8 months. Let's see. Thank you. so much for your support and meditation guidance. With lots of ❤️& respect. Bobby

@@dbiswas hi Bobby! Your message makes me so happy. I remember how difficult that period was for you. I'm glad you were able to find some healing and had the opportunity to come to thailand. You should have stopped by our temple to say hello. Haha. Next time. And congratulations on the marriage.
Regarding your situation, just try to stay calm. The Corona situation is already bad enough on its own, so don't add ther extra stress, anxiety, etc.. just take the precautionary steps, and do your best. Make sure you make time to day to "shower the mind." Also make resolutions/wishes each day. It will help you 😊😊❤

Meditation is good for those that are not in constant turmoil.....I practise walking meditation to help my body understand where the pain is and to let it go. The serenity gained of self awareness of ones continual suffering of the three afflictions (physical pain) (mental anguish) (spiritual loss). Since my life is suffering and my attachments are many, walking meditation allows me to see the path, hear the path and accept the path....You are my teacher and my student as I am your student and your teacher,,,,Freely to share the life experience from two different paths....Sadhu sadhu Buddhist Brother Nick

Thank you Nick for this wonderful video. I felt so peaceful by the end, I didn't want to come back. I got to a point towards where I was feeling an energy of some sort in front of me (like a force I could breathe into which made me relax even more). I've never experienced that before, but I'm glad I did. I was doing a loving kindness meditation, which I (and I'm sure others too) need right now. Many thanks for your help by creating this video. 🙏 😊

I'm so grateful for this video, it allows me to do meditation as a virtual practice with others. I live out in a rural area of North Florida. I am now retired and don't have much money to go out and socialize, buying gas is reserved for necessity. I am fortunate that I have a "Zen-ish" practitioner right down the road from me so I am in good company. I mostly practice quiet meditation by myself (of course I am actually with everything else around me 😁), but this is a nice way to glance and see that I am in the company of other humans. 🙏💜

Can you do a video about the different meditation methods and their specific uses? Apart from the Dhammakaya-specific crystal ball meditation, apart from different sorts of walking meditation, tons of different ways of breathing meditations, there are all sorts of meditation methods described in the Visuddhimagga, all the Zen and Tibetan meditations methods, all sorts of Vipassana meditations etc. What are their different purposes? What's best for whom? Do they all ultimately lead to samadhi and panna?
