People need to understand that this is a list of characters he dislikes . Not the worst units of 2024 list.
The reasons he dislikes them are pretty contradictory. He likes everything about Broly, except his damage and the fact he's on the best version of every Movie Bosses Team.

Super Bosses lost relevance too quick for them to stay fresh in his mind(which is hilarious to think about considering PHY Goku Black still made it here lmao). Also they gained new life as a last resort option on the Trio team.

I dont know why you guys hatin TEC Jiren so hard, he is not bad. I also used him on goku& frieza fight with Universe surv Saga Mission. My TEC UI goku didnt do any damage but TEC Jiren was good. I mean if you are playing without items then you can call him „bad“, but most of us are using items like beerus or ghost usher. Im playing most of the time with Universe surv Saga team and i finished all stages and super hard stages in the game. Tbh i never lost a fight where Jiren died on hits or supers, it was 70% AGL UI goku on me ( and he is rainbowed with full dodge build)

Teq jiren should NOT be on this list. He is REALLY good in 0.0001% of the times hes run. His ability to get extra defense after taking a lot of damage (but not too much damage) is soooo good, especially when he just gets one shot if you dont have it up. GREAT unit

Unironically I rather like TEQ Jiren, not as good as he could’ve been obviously, but he’s just there to cover AGL Jiren’s ass on his first appearance and he does that job well.
Plus if you have EZA Margarita she can cover for some of his short falls with that 11% DR support.

Glorio 50% ATK/DEF Support: POG! BEST SUPPORT EVER!
Trio 77% DEF Support: Look this hardly does shit. You either survive the big attacks or you don't.
Glorio can support on any of his teams for 3 turns not just 2 and is not as restricted (by categories) as the trio. Also are we forgetting how trio LR is a worldwide summonable LR whilst glorio is a new year DFE TUR. I think what glorio is trying to achieve vs the trio is much better.
50% ATK for 3 turns is insane and is way better than only a shitty 77% DEF for a turn less.

Ssj trio also HAS to stay on rotation or they lose a massive chunk of their own defenses and support utility. While Glorio is a floater with 50-80% dodge. It's literally not the same thing. Glorio is also pushing other characters beyond damage threshold checks.
Not to mention they give 3ki and 50% atk to the rotation
Bro really put the LR ssj trio on this list, in my opinion their release was one of the more healthy releases in dokkan history, their release made people want to try different setups, even allowing units from 2023 to be run effectively in this year hard content, their release made the game more fun in a way unique to their release, combine that with incredible animations and 3 amazing OSTs, they are my favorite release of the year
I love when truth says a unit is terribly designed and then proceeds to talk about how perfect their revive is, all of the support and orb changing they do, and the only “issue” is that they are restricted to the second best team in the game
He calls Broly the "Worst designed, best unit ever". And yes, the restriction is a real issue(although imo, not as bad as Truth makes it out to be) because it hurts the value of the rest of his LS.
With that said, I do disagree with him somewhat, in the sense that the rest of his LS is POINTLESS. In my experience, you can throw on 2, or maybe even 3(I've only gone that far once) units that aren't Uncontrollable Power(my picks were LR Turles and AGL Namek Vegeta) and still time the revive well with very good(not perfect, but still) consistency.
Tl;Dr, I get Truth's take, it's just too extreme for me. True, but not as bad an issue as he says

Not the same thing at all, SS3 angel goku only needs 1 Buu Saga ally on rotation.
Broly needs the full rotation to be Uncontrollable power for the domain.
@ yeah I feel like it has less to do with the design which is near perfect, if he just said “this character has a terrible restriction” that would make more sense, but I have a feeling he doesn’t say that because he knows how crazy the team he is restricted to is
@@Ninonidas It effectively is though, you cannot control your rotations in any given run so at any time you're using SSJ3 Goku as a leader character & you have 2 non-buu saga characters you're opening yourself up for him to begin the fight with at least 1 leader missing their passive. This makes Goku a horrible leader for his other leaderskills, whereas every single unit you'd ever wanna run with Broly has uncontrollable power. And eventually we ARE gonna get tough goku family SMB

@@FrostByte_06idk what do you mean by cant tank really good they tank most of the supers perfectly fine they only have problem on gogeta and janemba cause they dont have their stack on gogeta fight and they dont have the high dmr to tank janemba early on because of the big lowering other then that their damage ultra sa might do damage to gofrieza cause it can go up to 20m but their thing isnt doing damage already they are support

They have the str gohan & piccolo syndrome. They lose their defense mid turn because hp is being lost and the ability that is susposed to cover for it CAN'T be activated (for sv it's the transforming and for the other unit it's the revive)
Even in the gofrieza fight his support matters because they give 50% attack to the rotation. That part is literally never mentioned

In slot 1 maybe. But you are only going to have this character in slot 2 forevermore after anni. They will suffer from locking bosses because they can't tank supers anymore and can't be floated because of their 3 turn SA buff, team restrictions, and their own standby can't be floated like every other charging standby.
The funny thing I notice about trust is he criticized them for no reason when they are literally better then glorio but his supports give 50 percent attack and defense for 3 turns when they give 77 percent def for 2 turns they have way more def giving to allies but he likes glorio but doesn’t like that???

@@Shawngold26 Glorio can be run in slot three with 80% dodge giving 50% support for 3 turns, while Ssj trio have to be run on rotation for their Ultra SA buff and can barely tank the hardest supers while giving slightly more defense than glorio. Glorio is a much safer option for the team than the trio and isint actively losing runs. Just cause 77% is higher than 50% doesnt mean the Lr trio is better, smh..

Every character on this list can still cook in the right situation. This is just his personal preference and he is mainly talking about the Goku and Frieza fight, which isn't the entire game. You have the whole anni, wwdc, golden week, and more fights. A lot of characters are great on this list for a majority of those stages. Goku and Frieza is just extremely difficult, like going through an obstacle course due to its locking, sealing, and high dps check thresholds. Almost every single character that has released or EZAd this year is at least good in one fight, 2024 was a legitimate banger.
AGL Jiren as a whole is massively underrated. Most people use items and with one, anytime Jiren could POSSIBLY be in trouble, you can avoid it due to his base damage reduction. In my opinion, top 5 material. No restrictions, no bullshit.

I think that int broly LR is mainly just a support for everything else while also not being utterly trash, hes just kinda there hanging out as a useful option if you need 1 more slot filled.

They get crushed by cell max, goku and frieza and bulma.
Sad to say they provide a lot to a team but they can be very frail since their 12 Ki doesn’t give defense so you either dodge or pray you don’t get super.
That being said they’re still effective you just gotta use items if you know a súper is coming and they’ll get blown by it 🤷🏽♂️

I was very surprised with the no. 1 pick. While I have fun with them, I will definitely agree that the HP condition for much of their damage reduction sucks and has caused many runs in various fights to end with an L.

The SSJ trio are just unlucky that they are PHY in STR dominant boss era they are my favourite unit this year (i personally had no problem in Goku and Frieza even while 55%)

the trios perfomance in goku and frieza is not as bad as you say, you say their is a better standby but if you use said stand by you will never see under 50% hp goku and frieza which is the only phase that can kill them plus their supports makes evo vegeta survive above 50 goku and frieza in slot 1 first attack for example and helps teq gogeta a lot in some other fights so saying its worthless is weird to me

I don't get where Truth's dislike for the Trio came from.. Like they are pretty much his ideal unit. Insane support, no need to rely on additionals, really good leader skill and very solid damage. Like the only negatives are that they are a little restricted and to tank the hardest bosses need to have their 18 Ki up. And most of the times where I have seen them die on this channel is because Truth forgot about their small restriction or didn't have the 18 Ki up. For every other unit when they give massive support etc, they are praised, but when the Trio can't tank turn 1 (like many other best units according to him), they get bashed. Like how did they make this list and not Broly, Cheelai and Lemo. I know the deaths can be frustrating, but most of the time it isn't really their fault 😭
Look at it this way: They are meant to be the leader of their team and the team's Slot 1 unit. But in the hardest Trun 1 Slot 1 fights they die. It makes sense since they don't have theri extra stats up but it is a common issue Truth has encountered lol

I really don't get the complaint about Int Brolly active skill, it's the best condition. Uncontrollable Power is completely busted, and having that domain right of the bat ready is insane. Doesn't make any sense to me.

- Other is Dokkan Festival LR of MAJOR CELEBRATION.

- He leads 3 categories but only works with 1 of them making other 2 useless.
- He only guards while domain is up ( Beast has it for free ).
- He changes freaking INT orb to STR orb ( He is INT unit tho ).
- He is very heavy restricted compared to other DFE LRs we got this year ( Beast, Super Broly, Teq UI, Phy Ssj Trio ).
- Half his passive is locked behind revive which you'll almost never see in action.
- 40% Def support to Extreme class for 4 turns is nice but Phy Ssj Trio gives out 77% Def support every 2 turns and Gloria gives out 50% Atk and Def support every 3 turn and can stack.
@ some of the comparisons you’re making are very extreme. Like “Beast has it for free”. Ok sure but Beast is possibly the most overpowered unit on release ever or in the top discussion. And the SSJ trio support and Glorio’s support are the strongest supports in the whole game. Broly doesn’t have to be the best ever at these effects. The one team that his leader skill is good for is (maybe was now) the best villain team in the game.
I dunno I never found the unit “disappointing” whereas I did find TUR Broly disappointing because he wasn’t good enough to deserve a spot on the team. But people will interpret that word differently I guess.

- Lr Int Broly is not just random monthly DFE release unit but HEADLINER of MAJOR CELEBRATION, and also not a Carnival or Yellow coin unit but DOKKAN FESTIVAL LR unit who came 7 months after than Beast, after how insanely good and free Carnival Teq Broly turned out to be, lot of peoples expected part 2 Broly to be even better but nope, he is worse and heavy restricted ( he is literally the worst of his celebration behind Teq Broly, Str Family Kamehameha and Phy Ssj Trio ).
- Main Headliner unit of Major Celebration being so restricted is not acceptable even if unit is good, especially like Lr Int Broly who is going to age out very soon.
- And also Lr Int Broly meant to be support of his team but it's so bad compared to DFE LR released 2 weeks before him or end of the year DFE TUR unit.
- And DOKKAN FESTIVAL LR unit being worse than Carnival LR or Yellow Coin LR or DFE TUR is not acceptable ( Teq Buuhan is miles better than him for being monthly random DFE TUR ).
- Int Tur Broly was shit when he released and his EZA was also disappointing, so nothing about him changed much, just DISAPPOINTMENT over all.
