Why would you sale the lt250r it’s the baby brother to your lt500r come on bro it’s a matching set lol but fr those are getting hard to find in decent chape which I guess you know that they are not too common down in southeast Kentucky they were everywhere in the early 90s but have damn near disappeared now cool quads definitely not a Honda 250r but still super cool 🤙🏻

No i told the seller the banshee wasnt going up and that he could have dibs on it if i do resell.
Not only that but John did try to not buy the 250 he only really wanted the banshee and told the guy that he didn't really want the 250 but that they had spoke about a deal so that he would stick with the deal but he thought it was the Honda TRX 250R

I had a clapped out 86 and fairly minty 88 bout would just light tires up had hard time getting it to wheelie in dirt and grass
It looks like the 250 jas a longer swingarm then the 500 and the position of your butt is more forward over the wheels on the 250 then the 500, i think thats why the 250 is so much harder to wheelie 🤷♂️👊

They don't make a 270 kit for the lt250r they make absolutely no big bore stuff for the lt250r at all what you have to do is you have to use a YZ250 piston or a CR250 piston modify it and then your sleeve is going to be thin as paper I built three or four of them and was looking for a Big Bore kit for an lt250r but they never made them if you send it out to CT or somewhere like that yes they can get you a kit but they don't make a stroker crank for it so everything that's done as far as Big Bore stuff on the 250s is all custom work
It doesnt have to be a big bore kit, goimg overbore adds cc's to the volume of the cylinder and without doing the math ill say .40 over would add about 11cc's so if he went .60 or .70 over it may be close but id hope its not 60 or 70 over 😅😅😅😇
I understand that I have a 421 Cub serval Banshee put 90 horse to the rear wheels I understand adding piston-size add CC but 20 CC's that's getting pretty damn thin on the skirt I had an lt250r and it was a 265 I believe it was and I had to use a spacer plate and a YZ250 piston and if you want to do a rebuild and get rid of the thrust washers on the Piston use a piston from an RM 250 but it has to be an 86 there's a few mods you can do to them but it never really held the power that the trx250r had so the mods that were available I mean there are a few the one I had had plus two lone Star racing a arms a minus one laegers swing arm CT pipe durablue axle had the 87 Big Reed motor and that bike worked awesome I have $13,000 Canadian into my bike my Banshee and I would never do it again banshees are nice if you're going in a straight line anything else they suck I have a plus for swing arm on mine I believe you have a plus six and the wheelies are still retarded

I put the engine in my 1g dsm by hand. Left the head off and tossed the block in then put the head on, You do what you have to.

Might sound ridiculous to some but I’ve got in the shop a 87 completely rebuilt and everything from nuts and bolts to motor work has been done asides the time and labor over 3k in getting all the right parts and up grades looking to sell for 6.5k as well as a zilla with tons of upgrades that may be looking to part with. I don’t post greatest vids but have a look on my channel.. might even sell a few other toys sitting in there . These are definitely my favorite quads ..🤟🏻🔥🤟🏻
I think u should keep the lt250r for a little bit at least. I know it sucks holding onto flip money. But in a week or so your gonna have the big and little brother. Do compare vid on those, race em, and stack the lt250r against other stuff too. Just m.o. lol those weren't bad quads. I had one.
Honestly i want to do a full build on one but i gotta move some stuff for the oklahoma shootout and then after that ive got downtime for winter builds! 👊🙌
