Repent and trust in Jesus. He's the only way. We deserve Hell because we've sinned. Lied, lusted stolen, etc. But God sent his son to die on the cross and rise out of the grave. We can receive forgiveness from Jesus. Repent and put your trust in him.

I had a 9 month growth, looked identical to yours (mustache and all) and I was forced to trim it this morning for a job interview. My beard has always been my signature, and men and women alike compliment it out in public a few times per week. It's a point of pride. I make my own beard oil and keep it well manicured and presentable. It's a majestic thing and I take full advantage of the blessing of being able to have a beard just like yours.
I did get the job, the interview went swimmingly! I'm in the trades, so i'll be growing it right back out as I realized they didn't mind. Just... first impressions, ya never know.

As a bearded man. I will say if you choose to grow your beard out wear it with pride and take care of it . If you take care of it and have confidence in who you are and are a respectful man and a good man you will get endless compliments on it. The beard doesn't make the man but it is a exclamation point on him. My Dad was a self sufficient bearded man and I had many bearded men in my family that were good men. So as a kid I aways said one day I'll be a man and have my own beard. Be you 💯 and you will be your best because of it. My wife did not prefer my beard long at first but as she seen me take pride in it and the care I put in it she has come around and loves it now. So you do you and make your mark in the world brothers.

I started shaving at age 11. Kids in high school thought I was a narc when I’d have a 5 o’clock shadow in third period. I quit shaving at 23. I’m 34 now, and my wife’s only seen my clean shaven face twice in the last 7 years.
As far as the itch goes, the trick is to not shave, but just trim it back with some electric clippers…not to the skin. Maybe 1 or 2 millimeters, but definitely not clean shaven. The itch will go away.
Also, not being a wimp helps.

When I was living up in North Dakota last year, folks would recognize and remember me by my beard, which is black and not all that common of a natural beard color up in NoDak. I’d get mistaken for an actor or athlete whenever I’d go to the honky tonk. One night, I told a gal my name and she couldn’t remember it, so she went on to call me “lumberjack” from that night on.
All in all, my beard carries cultural significance in addition to it being a part of my identity. It serves a purpose in my line of work, protecting me from the elements: from snow and subzero temps in NoDak to trail dust and the scorching Arizona sun. I’m proud of what I’ve got and what I can grow. It was good to see you shed light on this topic, Dewayne.

As someone who’s had a beard continuously for over 3 decades I can attest to your advice given here. Keep it clean, combed, and treated. I use beard balm more to lubricate the skin underneath and it has virtually eliminated the bearddruf I used to get. The historical heroes I had as a kid were for the most part bearded, so that inspired me originally. That plus the fact that it just naturally there meant to me that I shouldn’t fight nature. Now it’s just become part of who I am.

Dwayne, this Ole man got a good chuckle & loved the Dat Beard😊. In my younger years, I would, like you noted, occasionally cut mine off: sans mustache. But, my kids; who are in their early 40s, haven't seen me without my beard, since they were toddlers.
Thoroughly enjoyed the video, Thanks for the chat.

When COVID came and everything shut down, including church, I decided it was time to grow my first (and only) beard. I had been self conscious about growing a beard and I’m susceptible to skin issues because I’m fair skinned and I didn’t like the wrinkles 68 years did to my face. I’ve been blessed with good genetics and I’ve yet to be criticized about my beard plus, most of my compliments come from the ladies. Dewayne’s advice on growing a beard is spot on but mine I got from the Beardbrand channel as well as their products. Thanks Dewayne, beard on!

This video is hilarious. I got the notification for it while I was shaving, which I haven't done in about a month and a half. The best advice I can give is let it grow and experiment. A super long beard isn't for everyone. I had it, it was a lot of maintenance and felt dirty alot of the time and quite frankly didn't look that good on me. I keep it just a bit shorter than aquaman now and that's the only way I like it.

I'll be 28 in June and I've had a full beard since I was 19. It's about the length of yours, except I haven't trimmed the ends in a handful of years. I've just let it go. I mow grass in the summertime in mid-west Missouri and people always assume I must be miserable. I tell them it really isn't bad! Every winter, I'm glad I've still got it. I oil it and comb it out every morning and I've not bought shaving cream or razors since I was 18 or so. Saving money and a majority of my face from prolonged sun exposure!
    Take care, Dewayne.

As a woman, I obviously cannot, and thankfully cannot, grow a beard, but I do admire when real men grow beards. Not those meticulous fashion beards, but real manly beards. I enjoyed this video and will be sharing it. As a young person still trying to get a full set of tack that fits all the different horses I work, I have a question. What cinch sizes do you have/use, or 3 cinch sizes fit the widest range of horses in your experience? Thank you.

Hi Dwayne, I enjoy your channel and appreciate your focus on sharing life stories that have a message, especially to our younger generation. I was very fortunate growing up in a rural area in the 60’s with strong adult role models. It definitely helped shape me into a self reliant independent man. I like to think iv’e passed that along to my children, grand and great. I have wore a beard my entire life, and even though it’s now long and white it still brings me joy and nods of acknowledgment when I’m out and about. Thanks again for your time and stories!

Hey, Mr. Dewayne. I’m a newer fan, and one not even out of High School yet, and I find a lot of value in the videos you make. Im fascinated with the kind of life you’ve lived, if you can forgive the strangeness of such a statement. And I do a lot of looking back into the past and forward into the future. Whether it’s about the future of this nation or this world or my life, or something like growing a beard (something I greatly look forward to), I try to plan and examine and consider everything in a meaningful way, and to that end, I’m very grateful for the wisdom that you share. Thank you, sir.
Also, you’ve helped me win a little dispute with my mom about whether or not shaving makes a beard grow faster, so thanks for that too!

I had a go tee when we met 17 years ago and that’s what she likes but when the weather gets cold I got to have some more cover for the face. I think a few more years and I will have her used to see the beard and go all out and not trim at all for a winter. My dad has always had a beard and it a signature thing in the winter to have a good beard in my book.

This video got me thinking about my perception of my life and also how people perceive me in which for the longest time I thought I didn't care but my mother and dad bluntly told me one day, "I know you're going to not like this but.... you truly do care about what people think about you." and the more time passes on, I realize they are correct. Now the catch point...: I've worn different outfits throughout the years and styles and the ones that make me feel more respectable and I get compliments the most is when I wear my country clothes..... like you wear in your videos. The problem is..... I do not live a country lifestyle and after about a year of gathering more items to complete my cowboy "look", I just truly felt fake but I do love the outfit... always have since I was a young'yen. What you said in this video reminded me of things I've heard off and on since I stopped wearing the cowboy outfit and what I've read online....... being a cowboy aint just about what your occupation is, it's a way of life. I've become a rude-ish, spoiled city man-boy over the years and I was NOT brought up that way. Matter in fact, I want to knock the snot out of young people who behave like that. It's a battle within myself because I know right from wrong and the 2 sides fight each other. What I'm trying to say is, I've still got some more maturing and self-awareness to do that you have spoken of in your videos that I've watched for about a year off and on now. Thank you for being an inspiring MAN to look up to!!

I downloaded a bunch of your episodes from your Podcast channel and I just finished listening to "My Carnivore Diet Journey", so I went to Rumble then here on TH-cam to find it so I could make a comment but it is on neither platforms.
I am a 63 year old woman and have an autoimmune disease. A few years ago I came across Mikhaila Peterson talking about her 'Lion Diet' to cure her autoimmune disease and depression. The Lion Diet is strictly meat, salt, and water (now she has added electrolytes). Then I started listening to Dr. Ken Berry for the last few months about the Carnivore Diet I decided to try it. I ate just butter, beef and eggs for 2 or 3 days and I felt greater than I did in years in just that little time. People might think, 'oh it's just all in your head you can't feel better in a couple of days', it was not in my head because one of the syptoms of this disease is severe brainfog when under stress and switching diet and the cost associated with going strictly beef was a great stressor and my brain was clearer than it had been for years and I had no pain. But the cravings were great and I began with little cheats until I fell right off the wagon. I still eat meat and eggs and I added cauliflower and cabbage...but I still have my cheats.
So the autoimmune disease I have causes allergic reactions to normal things or things I have taken or eaten or been around for most of my life, medications like aspirin or anything with salicylate in it and anything that has a penicillin (ie amoxicillin) in it is a no go for me, I go into anaphylaxis. Most food is out as well as environmental things I have to avoid. So going by the diet prescribed for my condition was not working. I am 5' 1" (yes the 1" is important) and weigh between 124-126 lbs but you'd have never known it by the bloating and water retention. After more investigation after I began the Carnivore died I found out that I shouldn't have any food that has Salicylates or Oxalates, so that cut my food down to meat as long as it is not aged so it's freezer to table, Golden Delicious Apples, Cauliflower, Cabbage (raw or boiled, not steamed), coffee and water, so now even with the cheats the bloating is gone and the water retention. If people can't take aspirin then they shouldn't eat food with Salicylates in it either and our western diet has overloaded us with Oxalates...so that is something else people can check out for their diet plans.

Almost a year growing my grey beard. Trimmed it once by a barber and almost cut it off. I drink water all day, lots of protein and have lost over 70 lbs by not eating bad foods. All of this has helped the beard grow. About as long as you have and has taken this long to finally look good. Beard oils and butters work good, different types for different areas.

I use Dr. Bronners soap for everything. Then I apply an apple cider vinegar solution (about 2 ounces in about 8 ounces of filtered water) to my hair and beard. Only use a little, not the whole thing. It works pretty well. I do that every 2 or 3 days. I also use beard oil, and once in a while a beard balm.

My beard is a bit bigger than yours and I use beard shampoo once or twice a week. I put oil on it about three times a week and I use conditioner occasionally. The beard is the first thing people notice about me and occasionally I get asked why. I tell them that in the animal world males are identified by manes, horns, antlers and colorful plumage. A beard is the human equivalent. I get compliments on in from ladies all the time, and have had a few men admit that it makes them a bit jealous.
