Honestly, although I’ve been scheming on a larger unit, that 36” Altitude had a beautiful full firebox. I really think I’ve switched gears on this. The Altitude didn’t have the raised burner, but it looked fabulous anyway. Thanks for another great video.
I just bought a 20k BTU direct vent and I was hoping he would have touched on how well it heats a space and how large of a space. Mine gets installed next week. This was just a sales video.
*Very easy to set up and use, attractive but be sure you understand the height--it's not tall. The heat is not overwhelming, but steady and pleasant fireplace **fireplace.homes** . It's quiet, too. I like the possibility of easily moving it from room to room in the event we want supplemental heat elsewhere. Definitely a good buy.*
@@embersliving I ordered one from the people in my area but the reason I bought the product was watching your videos so you should tell Napoleon that all these videos that you take the time to do make a difference a big difference I ordered the damn elevation loaded with all the bells and whistle‘s it’s costing me around 7
@@keithdantonio680 I’m also in Pittsburgh and would love to hear how you like your Napoleon fireplace. Can I message you on Facebook or via email or other messaging app?
Are there any gas fireplaces that don’t have any bezel or face? We’re building a new house, and my wife wants the surrounding tile to go right up to the fireplace opening.
What do you have that does not use electric. Also your recommendation for vent free fireplace at 7,000 elevation! Help for off grid use with propane fireplaces use for heating! Thanks
If u can vent up or out. Sometimes the venting cost in odd places can be a deal breaker. Outside walls are easy venting horizontal or vertical. Interior walls can be more challenging, hence often higher costs.

How do these compare to a Mendota?
Mendota is our best heater. Napoleon is more affordable and good quality. I would personally go with mendota if I had to make the choice.
what is the difference between "mirro flame black refeclive " or "black illusing glass" thank you love your channel!!!!
its just a cleaner look and it cleans up easier, its real glass instead of porcelain
Question: Which has a cleaner look and cleans up easier? @@embersliving
These look slightly rectangular (wider, but not taller), but when I look at the dimensions, they are all taller. Am I reading that correctly?
yeah probably the camera angle they are pretty close to square, especially the 36"
This was actually helpful.
Glad we could help!
Can you put glowing embers in these? Or any direct vent fireplaces? The brown wool looking stuff.
yeah we have it on in the video
@@embersliving Ok you mentioned it was LEDs making the ember effect. Wasn't sure.
“Don’t worry how the logs look - most of the time it’ll be off. “

Does the altitude on the left of the screen have any type of trim kit on it? Or is that without a trim?
that is without a trim, but you can add a trim if you want
@@embersliving Thank you!
Any chance you can show a pic or have in a video the Elevation x36?

not at the time, however I anticipate they will. Also you can order it as a straight LP model if needed.
Does the elevation have a battery backup system?

Can they be installed in any house with a gas line to it?
