Try the madigan sqeeze. Had a real bad one a few years ago. Couldn’t walk or eat. It wanted to but could get its body to operate. Did that for 5 days tube feeding it and heard about the sqeeze and figure I’d had nothing to lose. Did it that night and it was up sucking next morning. I think it happens with fast births. Something about the compression that triggers them if I remember right. It seemed wierd but worked. Happens a lot in horses I guess.
We get a couple dumb dumb calves too. Like you said maybe lack of oxygen or maybe mineral deficiency. 🤷 Seems like if they take a bottle for a couple days then they seem snap out off it.
@@e.a.bfarms no not yet. It's basically been raining every other day for the last 2 weeks. We might be able to do the first pass over our soybean field with disk in Tuesday.
@@e.a.bfarms I mostly wear lace up boots in the summer. I also wreck a pair of cowboy boots faster than I should because they're quick to pull on. I had a pair of slip ons for work that I liked but they discontinued them.
@@farawayfarm2520 I mostly wear cowboy boots, wear out a pair a year typically. I have actually started wearing safety toe tennis shoes during hay season.
Hope that they work out good for you. I’d be concerned by how short they are kicking mud back up into your boot and getting your pant leg dirty. Those composite style soft sole boots in the long run are horrible for your feet and the effects they have on posture, that’s why years ago I had to give up that style of boot as you get older. It has a lot more effects on you causes soreness all over your body, so I went back to a traditional style leather boot with a hard soul breathe much better. They are a all season boot a lot more work to take care of but a lot healthier in the long run
They have been really nice to just slip on to go check animals. I used to wear cowboy boots year around, but the last couple of years switched to safety toe tennis shoes. What lace-up light boots do you prefer in the summer?

I have heard about this a little! Definitely going to have to do some research. Thanks for the comment!

This one never got the concept, lost it at a week old or so. Tube fed it a couple times with no response.
@@e.a.bfarms that stinks 😕

Look like good boots. As a former Alaska fish guy I'm partial to Xtratuf boots. Maybe I'll get some for Gina. She's hard on boots. 😂
Nice, do you prefer lace up boots in the summer?
