Hi, everyone. Welcome to the channel. I'd like to clarify a few points about how I wrote the tab: I'll start with the acoustic riff because I've actually never seen a correct tab of it. Marty used a very peculiar fingering on that F# minor. The reason for that is that he wanted the A note to keep ringing during the transition from the F# to the E. This detail is always overlooked when people just play it with a barre chord but it is an important part if you want to make it sound like it does on the record. Still in the acoustic riff, the next point that is also never tabbed the way Marty played it is the G add9 chord. No open strings here, just a nice stretch. You can observe the two previous points in this video: Megadeth - A Tout Le Monde (Live At Rock AM Ring 1995). For the solo, I analysed all the neck positions and fingerings in a video called Megadeth Mesa Arizona 6 13 1997. Two fun facts about this solo: it was recorded in one take and Marty used a 400 usd Japanese strat for this. For the final epic twin-guitar harmony part, I had to make some more research because the harmony is actually played differently live than it is on the record. My goal is to provide you with the most accurate tab for the studio recording so here's what I did. I used a couple of videos from a channel called Digital Split where I could find the isolated guitar tracks. There, I could identify which part of the harmony is played by Marty and which is played by Dave. Then, I analysed a live video called: Megadeth - A Tout Le Monde (Night Of The Living Megadeth 1994). In this video you can clearly see what Marty is playing in the twin-guitar harmony (neck position and fingerings). There are only two notes that change between the live version and the studio version so it was pretty easy to tab it accurately. I hope you'll appreciate the effort I spent analysing all these live videos to provide you with the best tab possible that this epic tune deserves. If you like my work, consider becoming a Patron and get access to all the tabs in pdf and Guitar Pro file as well as the backing track videos. Cheers and rock n roll my friends 🤘
Hey, man. Sure, what do you want to know about it exactly? That’s the Jackson signature model that Dave was using during the Youthanasia recording and the next two following tours (Youthanasia and Cryptic Writings). You can also see that guitar in the Evolver video (the making of Youthanasia). The bridge is a Kahler fixed bridge, that’s what Dave and Marty were both using in the 90s. It is a fixed bridge with rollers so that the strings actually roll on the bridge when you’re bending a string. This ends up in less friction which gives you better overall intonation. Kahler bridges also have the advantage of allowing you to set up the space between each string the way you want.
Yes, the bridge is fixed. It just has a lot more possible settings than a basic tune o matic bridge. Rollers, string spacing adjustment and fine tuners directly on the bridge in the same fashion as a Floyd Rose.
You've been cranking out some terrific video tutorials lately. REALLY nice work. Keep doing what you are doing and you will pick up new subscribers and patrons. The universe delivers and thanks for another terrific post!
Thanks a lot, man. That kind of feedback really motivates me to keep producing more videos for these classic tunes. There is a lot of heavy quality content coming this year and a new guitar that could not make things more epic. You'll see it in the next video. 🤘
Excellent!!! So glad to see you do more Megadeth! You can never go wrong with Megadeth. This is the best ATLM lesson/tut on the net that I've come across. 5 stars all the way! I look forward to whatever else you have planned. :)
Thanks, man! I’ll always love making Megadeth videos, they were the first band I saw live back in 1997 so they mean a lot to me. I have some pretty cool plans for 2025. A lot of heavy stuff is coming your way 🤘
@@Ross777DVP Man, it’s putting a huge smile on my face seeing you in the comments section! I’ll never thank you enough for making my dream guitar come true 🙏 🙏 Glad you’re enjoying the video 🤘
You’re welcome. I spent many hours analysing what may seem like a simple song but is actually filled with many of Marty’s subtle nuances (like the fingering for the first two chords on the acoustic). Have fun playing this awesome tune 🤘
No worries, man but Marty recorded the intro to A Tout Le Monde on his Alvarez electro-acoustic guitar. He said it himself on his official website while answering a question about Diadems (same guitar he used on this one). He plays it on his Kelly live though, you got that right. Cheers
Hey, man. All I hear on the intro and the outro is Marty’s nylon string guitar recorded with a piezo pickup. It is possible that they doubled it with a clean electric guitar to add some texture. Cheers and thanks for watching

Hey, man. It is the most gorgeous guitar of all imo. Never stop looking and you will find yours one day 💪 🤘
Great writing on this song.
@@martinjohnson2549 yes, the melodies in this one are great. And that solo is simple (for Marty’s standards) yet very tasty!
@THEDAILYRIFF
You're right, but I thought more about chords.
Thanks a lot for more Megadeth stuff. Your work is outstanding! Cheers!
Thank you for your kind words. Megadeth have a very special place in my heart 🤘
Fantastic mate!!! Love the King V too! I once had one like that 😊

@@Sableuuunu hey, that’s an interesting one. I’ve always had a soft spot for the SFSGSW record. The songwriting on this album is insanely good.
That's how o played it in 1994 by ear then I watched on Headbangers Ball the Megadeth Halloween special and verified I was doing it right.

May I ask FFF for the next video?

@THEDAILYRIFF I love that album! It has great solos. FFF solo is so great.
@dennismarin2351 yes, it is a great record. Loads of great riffs, songs, solos.
The intro is originally played on electric with clean tone not acoustic
You are incorrect.

But Mustaine and Marty both played the intro on the album, Mustaine electric and Marty acoustic or how? @@THEDAILYRIFF
