Yeah if this is Grubby over-explaining, he needs to over-over-explain! How did you know opponent would be on 79 food for example?

Sometimes i think that Grubby performs better playing for UD than even playing for orc
Totally agree.
Imho that's because he's too confident to play orc and therefore gets sloppy more often. However, if Grubby goes into serious mode, he's 100% orc mind®.

Foggy didn't know that it was Grubby... He was streaming on his channel commenting in Russian and was surprised after the game when he was told by a subscriber that it had been Grubby against him :) Foggy then said that if he had known he wouldn't have been commenting during the game :)

There is a difference in his play if he had actually known it was Grubby though. From Grubbys side it definitely made a difference "I've seen him do that" "I'm gonna do the anti-pro tricks, etc.

Dang this game is amazing!!! I really like this strat, I player 10-11 years ago and tried it a few times but never got anywhere when playing against opponent my level. Pros didnt play it much back then so couldnt properly learn how to do it. Its so nice to see you do that in this game though!

Foggy wasn't on top of his game, we've seen so much better of him!
But Grubby took it very seriously and deserved the win
Dracule Mihawk someone said that Foggy didn't know that his opponent was Grubby until after the game end so he was playing a little casually (he commentated while playing) so I guess this match would be much closer if he knew in advance.

Looool didnt expect a win here. Maybe foggy underestimated grubby a little bit? However well played. Wagons did some heavy damage.
I like this strategy. Immediately go for tier 3 and tier 3 units. But i suppose it doesn't work on all maps. What upgrades did you buy?

Is there any site where build orders for each race are written? I want to learn to play in W3 after all this years, but I don't know how to start it and Grubby's matches are for me too fast to catchup what is happening, any ideas?

Sorry is it normal to not expand earlier for UD? It was strange to see Grubby stomp against 2 bases
Yeah, UD isn't a race designed for fast expanding: it costs lots of ressources and defending it consumes time you are not using to level up your heroes or your tech. It's especially weak against Keeper when you don't have a reliable access to dispel before t3 to defend against entangle and tree soldiers. UD also depends on statues to heal units as well as t3 upgrades + orb to deal damage in most situations.
It's not like HU who have access to powerbuild or NE trees than can sneak a tree anywhere on the map and do the creeping with it.
@@antoinecaligny2437 i think its counter intuitive from a newbie's perspective since its the only race that at the same time doesnt need to build necropolis
I see what you mean; but you have to take into account that your acolytes are at the same time the most exposed and vulnerable worker, but also the hardest to replace as you can't use those from lumber production to switch into gold production. While any other race can almost immediatly replace a dead worker in gold mine, UD has to specifically order their main/tech building to replace a dead acolyte, which further delays teching.Also, no necropolis means no TP to defend your economy.It's cheap and profitable but only if your opponent doesn't scout for it.

What is the point of the constant changing of buildings and things ... to keep up a high APM, or is there any other reason .. start as reference.

am i the only one who thinks that the Orb of Corruption is by far the best Orb out all 4 that the races can buy? Imagine Orc would get Orb of Frost :p

I feel orb of lightning is better. Way better. Imo.
@@pmandregalvao Orb of corruption is so great because it is usually in a hero comp with double nuke, a slow and a movement speed buff. Absurd hero kill potential.
Of course Grubby beats a NE player named Moon.

Foggy is the best european player atm. He is not as good as the best very best in the world but hes still the best european.

I don't like driads, I think a unit that is immune to magic and doesn't even need to waste mana or something to get that ability is cheap and dirty.

Grubby has mentioned recently that he just isn't very interested in HOTS and that he'll probably only be playing around big releases for a while. Maybe that will change though.
