The Bank of England will be switching to currency made of plastic that will last longer and be harder to counterfeit. CBS News correspondent Charlie D'Agata reports.
Crude oil must be used in the manufacture of plastic. So obviously printing all of this new money will consume more oil. Will this affect gas/petrol prices?
recycled plastics could be the source. Also oil prices are low now anyway and are sure to stay that way for a while. Also the volume of oil needed to create the notes is vastly different to the volume needed to run a car.
