My experience is that the ceramic bearings give minimal if any improvement in casting distance. I'm going to order another reel soon and it will be a Dark wolf ultra not a BK2, because even tho I like the paint on the BK2 better I think the DWU casts just as well and is quieter. When that nice fish came off at the end of the video I was, " UH, No, Oh man".out loud, my wife in the next room thought I had knocked over my iced tea. It might be just individual variation but my Lingls are the quietest and my JDM scorpion BFS is very, very close. It sounds noticably quieter than your Curado.

The Canadian geese have had enough of our cold weather and are flying south. 😂 I agree with your test results, I have to agree with the zillion but I'm going to add the new '22 Aldebaran is tied with it. I don't have the Curado but it sounds similar to the 16 Aldebaran. The Alphas Air TW, Lingle and DW ultra are pretty quiet as well. I've also noticed nano line is bit quieter than braid. 👍
How do you put nuts to balance your rods? Do you have a video? I use rubber but caps and insert coins until i get the desired balance.

I have a Gekkabijin Air TW and it is silent. Way quieter that my Curado BFS, Conquest BFS and my Dark Wolf Ultra.
I don't know, I actually like it when it sounds when casting.
Yeah it's kind of hit-or-miss for me I think some real sound cool and some just get annoying
