    Moshiach is foretold within scripture to come to us in different manners (riding a donkey's colt and coming on a cloud) and would come in differing time periods (at a set schedule and when unexpected.) Moreover, scriptures say that Moshiach can be either someone alive or someone who has passed away and comes back...The early Jewish sages addressed these "contradictions" by concluding there must be two messiahs. But this conclusion was erroneous. What the sages were actually seeing within scripture are the two separate and distinct comings of the messiah. Yes, God's Word tells us Moshiach would be born into our world and then be "cut-off" from the land of the living and then come again. So, who could this Messiah who already came be? And what is His name? Surely, you know!!!
    "Who has ascended to heaven and come down? Who has gathered the wind in his fists? Who has wrapped up the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is his son’s name? Surely you know!" (Proverbs 30:4)
    May HaShem bless you. May Almighty God preserve, provide for, and protect the children of Israel.

    Rabbi, it does not sound as though you would be surprised if the face of a generation was not initially accepted as Jewish. I'm just about 6 minutes into this teaching, and interested at the other points that you are to make. It seems a sound theoretical suggestion that the maternal lineage of Moshiach will be questioned, with the resolution affirming Judaic lineage.
    I see (from the description), that you spent time at Aish. That location brings me much joy, as the location from which my love of Breslov originated. Looking forward to the continuance of this video.

    And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son.
    " Zachariah 12:10, check also Isaiah 53
    The Mashiach walked upon the waters. Job 9:8 "Which alone spreadeth out the heavens, and treadeth upon the waves of the sea."
    Psalm 77:19 "Your path led through the sea, your way through the mighty waters, though your footprints were not seen."
    On this one( Jeremiah 23:5-6) I would like you To check your Hebrew bible and see what is the name of the MASHIACH "The days are coming," declares the LORD, "when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch, a King who will reign wisely and do what is just and right in the land. In his days Judah will be saved and Israel will live in safety. This is the name by which he will be called: The LORD Our Righteous Savior.(The LORD our Righteous YESHUA)
    The name of the Mashiach in Isaiah 62:1 "Because I love Zion, I will not keep still. Because my heart yearns for Jerusalem, I cannot remain silent. I will not stop praying for her until her righteousness shines like the dawn, and her salvation(YESHUA) blazes like a burning torch.
    "
    According to Micah 5:2 The MASHIACH was born in Bethlehem “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans[a] of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.”
    Hashem gave a sign in Isaiah 7:14 that the MASHIACH will be born of a virgin "Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel." Isaiah 7:14
    Joel 2:32
    And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call.
    Proverbs 30:4
    Who has ascended into heaven, or descended? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name, and what is His Son’s name, If you know?
    This is what David said about the MASHIACH in PSALMS 22, check how David under the inspiration of Ruach haKodesh explains in detail the crusifixion of the MASHIACH.
    My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?
    Why are You so far from helping Me,
    And from the words of My groaning?
    2O My God, I cry in the daytime, but You do not hear;
    And in the night season, and am not silent.
    3But You are holy,
    Enthroned in the praises of Israel.
    4Our fathers trusted in You;
    They trusted, and You delivered them.
    5They cried to You, and were delivered;
    They trusted in You, and were not ashamed.
    6But I am a worm, and no man;
    A reproach of men, and despised by the people.
    7All those who see Me ridicule Me;
    They shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,
    8“He trusted in the Lord, let Him rescue Him;
    Let Him deliver Him, since He delights in Him!”
    9But You are He who took Me out of the womb;
    You made Me trust while on My mother’s breasts.
    10I was cast upon You from birth.
    From My mother’s womb
    You have been My God.
    11Be not far from Me,
    For trouble is near;
    For there is none to help.
    12Many bulls have surrounded Me;
    Strong bulls of Bashan have encircled Me.
    13They gape at Me with their mouths,
    Like a raging and roaring lion.
    14I am poured out like water,
    And all My bones are out of joint;
    My heart is like wax;
    It has melted within Me.
    15My strength is dried up like a potsherd,
    And My tongue clings to My jaws;
    You have brought Me to the dust of death.
    16For dogs have surrounded Me;
    The congregation of the wicked has enclosed Me.
    They pierced My hands and My feet;
    17I can count all My bones.
    They look and stare at Me.
    18They divide My garments among them,
    And for My clothing they cast lots.
    19But You, O Lord, do not be far from Me;
    O My Strength, hasten to help Me!
    20Deliver Me from the sword,
    My precious life from the power of the dog.
    21Save Me from the lion’s mouth
    And from the horns of the wild oxen!
    You have answered Me.
    22I will declare Your name to My brethren;
    In the midst of the assembly I will praise You.
    23You who fear the Lord, praise Him!
    All you descendants of Jacob, glorify Him,
    And fear Him, all you offspring of Israel!
    24For He has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted;
    Nor has He hidden His face from Him;
    But when He cried to Him, He heard.
    25My praise shall be of You in the great assembly;
    I will pay My vows before those who fear Him.
    26The poor shall eat and be satisfied;
    Those who seek Him will praise the Lord.
    Let your heart live forever!
    27All the ends of the world
    Shall remember and turn to the Lord,
    And all the families of the nations
    Shall worship before You.
    28For the kingdom is the Lord’s,
    And He rules over the nations.
    29All the prosperous of the earth
    Shall eat and worship;
    All those who go down to the dust
    Shall bow before Him,
    Even he who cannot keep himself alive.
    30A posterity shall serve Him.
    It will be recounted of the Lord to the next generation,
    31They will come and declare His righteousness to a people who will be born,
    That He has done this.
    Yeshua, Jesus as we call him Christian came and died on the cross and rose up on the third day, by his blood if you repent and believe, you will receive full redemption. Shalom!!!

    Moshiach would be FAR more effective as an ex-Christian or a Noahide. With all due respect, a Hebrew speaking Messiah with a traditional Jewish heritage would make it FAR more difficult to inspire the Gentile nations.

    Yes, it is written in Torah, Neviim Ketuvim that Mashiach will be Jewish, from the tribe of Judah, from the seed of David, and that he will be born in Behtlehem, from an Almah Betulah (Virgin), which is all pointing to Yeshua. All + 300 prophecies Navuot concerning Mashiach Yeshua has fulilled. Which is a sign that he is the Messiah. Im a Jew and i know Mashiach.
    Almah means young woman. But if you believe Sarah brought forth Isaac, and was called Almah, believe in the most Messianic event that happened in history that Mashiach was born of a Betulah. Adonai Elohenu told us that it will be a sign Mashiach would be born of an Almah Betulah, virgin. If Mashiach would be simply born from a young woman it wouldnt be a sign. Many jews are born from a young woman, but the sign that Adonai Elohenu told us would come is that Moshiach needs to be born out of an almah (virgin) which is a Miracle and a clear sign that he is the Moshiach which no man has fulfilled except for one. Yeshua. The Son of David, the son of Yosef.
    He is our Messiah achim.
    Read the brit chadasha ofcourse a Jewish translation, because many adversaries of Mashiach have corrupted and want to take away his Jewishness so that Jews wont come to their Messiah. But come to Yeshua achi he is the Mashiach ben David Ben Yosef.
    Yochanan 4:13-14 KJV - "Yeshua answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life."
    Amen

    Thoroughly engaging, enjoyable, exciting, & educational! But if the men weren't going to provide hospitality to the Israelite men, the Moabite women couldn't have provided bread & water to the Israelite women. So imho, the Moabite women would be allowable, while the men would not.
