I used to live in Colorado for two years, I am thinking about this place all day. How lucky I was to live there...I miss you so much...Golden, Boulder, Denver, Aurora..H-mart,, Colorado school of mines,, Costco..Whole foods..All the places I have been....I miss you guys..all day and night...

Colorado, legacy of its hispanic past. Spanish explorer gaved its name to the state and belong almost two and half centuries to the spanish crown.
The Grand Cannyon was discovered by spanish García López de Cárdenas in 1540 , lieutenant of the Vázquez de Coronado expedition.
Hernando de Soto (spaniard) was the first European to catch a glimpse of the Mississippi River in 1541, which he crossed continuing his journey to the west where he also traveled through present-day Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas.
When the Mayflower carried the Pilgrims from the United Kingdom in November 1620 to a point on the eastern coast of North America, the Spanish had already roamed and settled much of the American West (from New Mexico to California) 80 years earlier.
Many of its places names (towns, cities like Colorado, Trinidad, Aguilar, Las Ánimas, Pueblo, Limón, Dolores, Cortez -Cortés-, Antonito -Antoñito-, etc. etc. or rivers, mountains like Colorado or Bravo river, Grand Cannyon, Rocky Mountains -Montañas Rocosas-) are Spanish or derived from Spanish names.

Colorado is a great big beautiful state. Miss it alot. Worked on a narrow gauge railroad for a few seasons. Really liked it alot. Got to see alot of Colorado. After a lengthy conversation from the woman who used to take care of the Granby Colorado Amtrak station years ago said to me I was a displaced local. Wow I thought a great compliment for a guy from Massachusetts. My heart is forever in Colorado. My brother David lived in Colorado for many years had family and was an executive chef. He is gone now and is missed as much as Colorado. Oh the high country. Great video and thank you. Some day if it's meant to be I will return ❤

I so hope to return to Rocky Mountain National Park if/when the timed entry reservation system is ever rescinded. The Mesa Verde cliff dwellings are well worth the trip to SW Colorado, after 40 years in the state I finally got to see them last year.

Yes they are Alita! You need to also visit the Rocky Mountain National Park. It's one of my favorite places to go!!! Many incredible hikes there.

Well done video. I have ridden the AMTRAK California Zephyr train twice that went across Colorado on my trips to see all of the West by train. Colorado is very scenic. From St. Louis

Terrific work! It helps you have so many wonderful locations, and no shortage of beauty. I love Colorado, I'll be there a couple times this year. Front range in the spring, and then the western range (San Juans) in the fall.
Colorado is truly beautiful! The Rockies are a sight to behold! Stayed in Estes Park along the Fall River during the 2021 holidays. Family and I enjoyed a white Christmas there - a true winter wonderland. I cannot wait to return and enjoy other towns in Colorado. Breckenridge/Durango/Grand Junction?
Estes Park is my favorite place to stay! So many hiking trails there and in the Rocky Mountains!
Montrose/Ouray/Telluride/Durango? A few friends and i have been talking about Pagosa Springs... if you didn't get much over the pass in RMNP, go see Grand Lake & Winter Park! Just went to Hot Sulphur Springs around there a while back. Unfortunately, when you've always lived here, you get busy & take it all for granted...
Glamper, I love to stay in resort parks were you can see the beauty of nature from the safety of the back of a horse that’s knows how to run full speed back to the barn when dangerous other creatures get to close 😂😂😂😂 honestly I’m a resort park girl. I love full hook ups, cozy cabins and meeting new friends.
Im a park bum and couldn't be more happy with it. Sure the pay ain't great and the sleeping situation isn't always the best but I couldn't imagine doing anything else
