@@CENLABackyardChicken i have treated a chicken for bumble foot then had to take her to the vet because she wouldn’t heal. I have also treated one for sour crop which involved picking her up then leaning her forward so she could clear the liquid then isolating her with electrolytes . I’m not sure I treating in the correct way. I now have a beautiful Rooster (Squatch) who had his tail feathers pulled out by a neighbors dogs. I have attempted rubbing Plantain salve on the area at night but he was still so traumatized that I am giving him a couple of days to settle before I try again. I guess what I need is a basic chicken first aid course.
Great video! Best advise you said...research before getting chickens. Learn beforehand to avoid mistakes that can be costly or deadly for your flock.
