  • During our recent trip to Charlotte and Mooresville, NC, we got the opportunity to tour Pro Motor Engines with owner Dennis Borem. This engine machine shop has a rich 40-year history of building engines for all three top NASCAR Series as well as ARCA, SCCA and NHRA. PME focuses on high performance engine building and testing, along with top of the line parts development and manufacturing.

Old person here... It would be a lot easier to hear the speaking voices without the music bed... Thanks for the video.

@@EngineBuilderless music and maybe a much less annoying track. There’s plenty of royalty free stuff that’s not so grotesque. The music may be needed as the kid doing the interview is horrible and extremely awkward. “ a huh....a huh.....a huh.....yep....yep.....ok” man just stand behind he camera and keep quiet. Ask cognitively sound, intelligent, or relevant questions. If not the commentary should be entertaining at least. I hope Stapleton visits the faculty they do a superior job with these walkthroughs.

@@Saltwatercowboy79I agree this kid isn’t meant to be conducting these interviews/ walkthroughs. He is void of personality and lacks the required on camera presence necessary to keep the viewer engaged. Kid stands there awkwardly mumbling “a huh...ok..yep” on a constant loop. They use bad elevator music in attempt to cut through the uncomfortable awkwardness. The entire tour was void of any informative inquiries or journalistic standards. He’s not hosting the show just distracting from the content we want to see. No one needs to be in front of the camera the whole time besides the employee ushering the tour. This tour alone prevented me from subbing.

If you're going to make videos hire a professional camera man and focus on the machines and show the work in progress while the machinest are using them.

TH-cam film editing priority of low volume on the interviewed is meaning to ditch the entire background music for allowing the viewer to hear everything said without guessing what is being said. Also, notice the voice of the TH-cam promoter is loud and crystal clear over the background music. The only one impressed by the background music is the TH-cam promoter. It is to the point of wanting to unsubscribe, but I won't. Please think about it. Yeah, just another old person here. Thank you for the videos and have a safe, healthy, good day.

Agree with the points about unnecessary music. Also want to say it’s very annoying when the host/interviewer keeps responding with “yeah” every few seconds like he’s having a private conversation. It’s an interview. There is no reason to respond verbally to everything the shop owner is saying, especially if you’re going to have the gain on your mic so high. It’s very distracting and takes the focus off the person being interviewed. It’s a mistake many inexperienced interviewers make.

The old guy is right. What’s up with the cheap music in the back ground? Does nothing for the video. Bad idea to stick crap music into your video. Want too hear about engines not your idea of music. Got tired and turned off your video.
