What can I say guys... after 46 years of listening only to jazz (I'm 61 now) I can still be amazed by the vital genius that this music expresses through stratospheric artists like you. Johnny Griffin once said that jazz is nothing more than the art of surprising. You did it great! Greetings from Italy!
I am 67 with the same feelings. I discovered it few days ago and I don't know how many times I watched it. I am almost addicted to it. Congratulations from Turkey.
LMSFAO!!! But... wait... WAIT? Am I the only one who noticed the player-switcheroo? Well done and worth the wait. Chopin is rattling in his coffin like a metronome and if alive today, would be equally impressed.
My brain started to leak out of my ears when the first kick dropped... Such a mind bending take on a classical classic; so creative, playful, virtuoso and clever! What a talent Luca!
The feeling of really loving the music you hear while also being really impressed by the arrangement and playing is one of the best feelings one can have. And you absolutely delivered on all ends
Would you believe I also experience this with video games music - The Consouls is a brilliant group from Sydney, Australia doing really amazing jazz arrangements of vgm (and a smattering of anime). One of my favourites is Scars of TIme from Chrono Cross but there are are nearly 400 tunes in their catalog, each tune being it's own masterpiece of musicianship.
This video is so fun! I love all the little fun clips they add: - The group swapping instruments for a beat (1:37, 1:57) - The bassist underneath the piano (2:03) - The dummer helping out with the bass (2:34) love the beat, love the video, love the vibes!
This song has been stuck in my head for days now, and its refreshing to get a cool music video showing the playing live while also being funny and interesting. You guys are going to blow up into superstars pretty soon!
I always thought that Chopin was a Jazzman who unfortunately was not exposed to the rhythmic aspects of Jazz. The harmonic content is spot-on. Amazing rendition. Reminds me a little of Polish jazz player Andrzej Jagodziński who specializes in Chopin but in Jazz form. Serwus!
I always worried who I could love if Jacques Loussier stopped playing but my prayers have been answered. Be still o my heart. You three are incredible. Keep on playing. .
Loved it! 2:05 - an homage to the hungover James Jamerson lying on the floor of Motown's Snakepit and recording the bass part to "What's Going On?" I've worn a beard for almost 42 years, and been playing bass for even longer. Wish I could grow a beard multiple times six minutes! Or grow my hair back in twice that long!
honestly I think it's better than new way already i love how you absolutely took this idea and infused it with so many of the details that make up your style. definitely audible how precisely you engineered this version of the minute waltz.. congrats man🎉
Superb performance and great arramgement!!! Lord Vinheteiro Sestak is my new idol!!!! Hahahaha By the way, i have just bought Lighter Notes!!! Greetings from Spain
Just found your YT site. Maaaaaaaan! Kid! You guys are terrific! I am 81...and I thought I had played with, and/or heard some greats. This is just wonderful. Keep up the good work!

"Am I the only one who noticed the player-switcheroo?" No you are not. I have to rewatch the video to pin down this extraodinary stunt!
and at 2:04 the bassist is under the piano hahahah ... I love these easter eggs
@@Matthew-sr8ib same! These easter eggs add so much to the great energy of the video!
I also believe Chopin absolutely love this. He also was known for his improvisation skills
My brain started to leak out of my ears when the first kick dropped... Such a mind bending take on a classical classic; so creative, playful, virtuoso and clever! What a talent Luca!
try Jacque loussier
The feeling of really loving the music you hear while also being really impressed by the arrangement and playing is one of the best feelings one can have. And you absolutely delivered on all ends
The video is so well made too. Not too much going on but also some creative elements that really add to the experience. Loved how you swapped places

If you didn’t notice luca switched with the drummer at one point and the bass player was under the piano
Let’s make this go viral!!
Woah............ it's not often you get chills from awesome music... this really hit the spot for me. So good. Much love from Australia

That flex on the B flat at the first part was totally unexpected and marvelous
"Гремит Шопен, из окон грянув!
А снизу под его эффект, прямя подсвечники каштанов, на звезды смотрит прошлый век!"
Браво, ребята, очень здорово!
The best classijazz on Chopin I’ve ever heard. !!!!! Thumbs down to this talented young man
Hands down / thumbs up??? :-)
1:39 you really caught me there!
And at 1:57
Fantastic guys! Fredrick would be jammin to those jazz tunes...
Absolutely fantastic and also just plain happy! Thank you!
Such nuanced, immaculate playing, not to mention incredible rhythmic feel. Absolutely Stunning.
It has been quite a while since music has captured me like that. Amazing job, thank you!

Amazing!
One of those videos when hitting the like button just seems inadequate. There should be a standing ovation, hollering and stamping the floor button!
Serwus!
