Frusciante is a great guitar player, but I noticed something lately- his chord progressions are usually not that special, and a lot of the times they are very simple (plenty of 4-chord songs).His most complex chord progressions I remember is the Sir Psycho outro, and Knock Me Down (the long version). Josh has more creativity on the musical aspect. So on that part I think Josh does have an advantage over John. This isn't a hate speech, it's more of a defense of Josh.He deserves more appreciation.

John created everything. Josh only copied it. Simplicity is genius. Every iconic guitar melody and solo was created by JOHN , not Josh. . Josh replace John for two albums and they are easily the most forgettable. John also has a big catalogue of solo albums that demonstrate his musical virtuosity and artistic creativity. Josh is a session musician and can't hold John jockstrap, simple as that!
Because John decides to play simple. He was supposed to play in the Zappa band, I'm pretty sure he can write a 25 chord progression song if he wants. The key is, what makes JF great, playing simple things beautifully. And sorry, don't wanna be a hater but the solo on this one is just noise like most of Josh's solos.

I think Radiohead are the greatest artists of our time, for them we should be very thankful. And I really wouldn't consider foo fighters music great, nothing much but cash grab like coldplay.. Dave was a great drummer indeed, not much of a song writer tho.

Been listening to RHCP since I was 7 I'm 17 now and I must say im so glad they came up with a new album. This song is definitely one of the more smooth and harmonic songs compared to Venice Queen or Did I let you know.
Get over John Frusciante my friends. It is a fuckin bumber he's gone, but it's done with, he decided to move on and this time I don't think he's coming back. The Frusciante era (4 albums he put out with RHCP) will go down in history but you know something, this band has rebounded pretty damn good adding Josh. No he ain't Frusciante but the dude is fuckin talented and in fact has done work with Frusciante and has an awesome high pitch voice. RHCP always knows how rebound/ change it up.
i want to stop seeing frusciante compared to josh, music and life are constantly changing, part of that change is loss, and the ability to thrive in light of such an event, the chili peppers were knocked back hard by johns leaving however they've evolved into something just as good,

I started listening to rhcp in 2011 and they're much favorite band/ music in general.
