Bhai, Vespa is just a showpiece. It is not a dependable scooter for so many reasons. I have owned Vespa LX 125 BS4 for 6 years. Spare parts are not not available in open market and customer has to depend upon authorized service center. But authorized service center also does not have adequate stock of basic spare parts like air filter, petrol cock, etc. Spart parts are expensive for no good reason. On an average, spare parts are 1.5 to 2 times expensive than activa, access, ntorq, etc. without any justified superiority in quality. MIleage is the worst part. Only 22 kmpl. Many showroom and authorized service center already shut down due to low sales. Now customers have to take their bike many kilometeres away to next city for even basic servicing. If somebody want to buy vespa just because for its good looks, then no issues. But if one wants to use vespa for daily life activities like going to market, dropping children to school, etc, then its very expensive. The resale value is a joke. Very few buyers in second-hand market, and getting very low value like 10 to 15K.
