- This is my "World Of Color" 2020 4k multi-cam edit. This is (almost) the original version of the show. It was filmed in 2019 during D23 Expo. It's not perfect but I think it's pretty good considering the footage I was able to bring home. Let me know what you think!
TH-cam compression is brutally SAVAGE and really clamps down on shadows and night sky! I have created a nice, high quality video file for anybody to download and watch from their computer. In many ways, it's better than TH-cam's heavily compressed 4k stream.

I'm a simple man, I see a CLIFFLIX video, I hit the like button. This show is simply beautiful. I saw it for the first time last year and couldn't believe how good it was!
Fun fact: the orange fountain at the very end of the show represents Walt's spirit.
It sure does! It takes a bow for the audience. I made sure to capture that. It seemed to be broken on two of my night's shots but then they fixed it before I was finished! Whew! got it! ;-)

I absolutely love that now I can watch a Multicam video of the show! The show really needs it to see the projections and smaller fountains up close and then wide shots to capture the fountains that go hundreds of feet in the air along with the fire. This definitely became the best video of World of Color on the internet now, thanks!
I'm not sure if you know, but that last fountain at the end is actually named " little squirt" and in the original plans for World of Color he was going to walk the audience through the show almost like a narrator or main character but the idea was scrapped. Now squirt is remembered at the end of every show by being the last fountain to close out the show!

I have been binge watching the last hour or so and loving this! I thought I was impressed before but every time it gets even better! My favs so far are world of color and harmonious just for the sheer beauty with the water and lights, happily ever after almost made me cry for some weird reason lol. I don’t get the hype of reflections one thou, probably a better experience in person

Man thank you for this, best recording and editing i've ever seen. Disney is curently building a big expension of Walt Disney's studio in paris including a large lake. I really hope they'll use it for a parisian world of color
I hope World of Color will reopen as soon as possible.
I wish the people who runs the Walt Disney World Resort nowadays would add World of Color to one of their parks.

What a labor of love, and for that, I am truly grateful...this has to be one of the FINEST productions that is out on TH-cam...thanks for what looks to be a lot of hard work, a lot of waiting, a lot of recording, a lot of editing, etc...I only wish you had been able to do something similar with the first World of Color Holiday edition with the virtual choir...you would have done it justice...looking forward to seeing more of your fine work...

Really beautiful capture, I watched a different recording and there is so much detail missed on the other one! Your recording really makes me feel like I'm there in person, thank you!
What you have captured most with your World of Color presentation is really something you didn't even film: The sheer love and admiration you have in your heart for Disney. This was obviously a "labor" of love to be able to put in the hours upon hours of deciding where would be the best places to set up your cameras, editing all of that great video to pick the best angle so that we could appreciate and experience the expansive breadth of World of Color. I bet you could do an entire video of what you had to do to create this video -- the issues you had to overcome, and how you must have agonized in your mind's eye sometimes which camera footage to use to edit this together. I believe it would be interesting to have the "backstage tour" and have you show us why this angle as opposed to this one or why you choose that shot, similar to how directors do the talking on DVDs about why they did what they did and how they did it. And if I could be so bold to ask, I would like your magical cinematic touch to show everyone one of the most upbeat Christmas parades Disney has ever done celebrating the festivities of Mexico and Brazil in Viva Navidad. Thank you so much for doing this. Thank you most of all for making this available to download, which I have done; and thank you for allowing all of us to experience that Disney magic during this pandemic.
Wow,...that's a great comment! Yeah,...I dont do much with my channel. I'm only doing one or two videos a year so I'm relatively unknown on TH-cam. I'm just a guy that puts a ton of effort on the Disney attraction videos that really touch me. I have been doing this for about 13 years now and I have always worked to make the best videos that I possibly can. These shows are some of the hardest things anybody could try to shoot from a sheer technical level. Color grading is a beast too. Because of that, I have developed many tricks and techniques over the years to fight these challenges! I get emails from people all the time asking "What cameras do you use?,...what lenses?,...what mics?...How do you color grade and mix audio?...are you using Devinci Resolve?" LOL,...I always politely replay with " I use only proprietary CLIFFLIX technology ;-) So I just keep my videos techniques secret! The real truth though is, anybody can do this stuff with anything. It only takes a strong desire, dedication and patience to put them together like this. There are some other guys doing it on TH-cam too. Most of what I do is trial and error. 50% of what I shoot goes into the trash can because I wind up not liking it and I go back out and do it again. I edit these very slow too because I keep second guessing myself and going back to completely change hours of work only to remake things again. I'm cursed and tortured that way...but I'm glad you like it! I'm currently doing a completely brand new "IllumiNations; Reflections of Earth" that will be ready in about two weeks. I would like to meet you and maybe help out some time for another Disney production and showcase that it's not which park is better, Disneyland or Disney World, but it's to highlight how all of the Disney parks are unique in their own special way and appreciate those differences that unite us all. With Disneyland. it's the intimacy and the understanding of the genius of the hub and appreciating the different lands of the two parks. He really did understand television and how he could sell his idea to millions upon millions of people, and then expand his Disneyland to the more expansive Disney World. @@StevenKosmata-Eclipse - So Walt Disney World is my "home" because I live in Florida. I used to go there about one weekend a month. (before COVID) However, you dont need to twist my arm to get me to admit that Disneyland is THE ultimate Disney destination on Earth. It is everything you said. It's authentic, historic and the most "real" feeling Disney park I have ever been to. Our Magic Kingdom is fine but after going to Disneyland?...MK feels like a "model" of what the real thing is in California. Walt never saw Magic Kingdom. He passed long before it ever was built. He was never there like he was at Disneyland. (Roy built it and dedicated it) When I go to DL, I feel like I'm walking into an amazing time machine and I'm back in 1955. You can "feel" the Walt Disney all around you. Yes, we have Epcot and we have Animal Kingdom and I love them both but Disneyland just smashes Magic Kingdom in my opinion. I'm planning a 2021 Disneyland trip in the fall after all this COVID stuff is gone. I will be shooting Fantasmic! multicam out there for sure. Maybe we could meet up there? Yup,...my heart is in Disneyland too!

I was so prepared to come here and say "skip the intro guys, this time mark is where you should start from", but honestly, the quality of this work is amazing and if I can criticise anything, it's that you should do a, say, 20 second megamix of what's in the video, show off the quality of work... THEN go hard with an intro to you, the business and any sponsors... THEN go into the product itself.
You and your crew are honestly amazing at what you do, the work in this is just breath taking, so, please, let my breath taken, result in an income for you.

My gear and my tricks.. .are "secret"! Haha....it's propriatary CLIFFLIX technology. Well?.. I will say that is nothing that anybody cant do. It just requires lots of shot pre planning and tons of patience in the editing room. Anybody who loves these shows can do it. You just need love and patience. ;-)

Oh,.. WOW! Haha...I'm sooo thrilled that loved it! Folks just like you are THE reason why I made this. Yeah, "Reflections or Earth"....[sigh]....the saddest edit of all! I'm already going through the library today with a lump in my throat. I have so much material. I dunno, I might do two or three versions that just use different angles. Hmmm.....yeah, this thing is massive. I'm going to ask for help on this one. I want to cut those angles in a way that BEST highlights the show's true message and story. I upgraded my editing drive to a 4 terrabyte RAID 0 SSD configuration to handle 10 or 12 tracks (camera angles) just for "Reflections". I just need to find a way to "drop" 40 camera recordings to get down to 10 or 12. THANKS Kendall!! ;- )

Yeah, I have seen videos from other people that use (too many) camera angles, and they also move too quickly from frame to frame. That makes it difficult for the viewer to keep an emotional response flowing naturally throughout the video. Though, YOU seem to be able to do it in such a way that feels more natural, and doesn't distract from our emotional enjoyment.👍 And that's what it's all about anyway!😭 Lol. Take all the time you need, Cliff. Illuminations is WORTH the wait!! And so are YOU! ☺

I saw that Disneyland resort is having 2 new nighttime spectaculars in honor of Disney's 100th anniversary of wonder. On Disney California Adventure opening in late January the new fountain show called "World of Color One" and Disneyland will have a new fireworks show called "Wondrous Journeys". This 2 shows made me feel very excited and hyped up. When 2 new night shows are here, can you make new videos for World of Color One in California Adventure and Wondrous Journeys in Disneyland?
Probably not,...I literally just got home to Florida last night from a week in Disneyland. I shot Fantasmic and World of Color but I probably wont be back out there for a couple of years. :-(

Thanks! Well?....my Reflections of Earth Farewell 2020 video has started. This World of Color video was actually started last year after D23, I just now got around to finishing it off. I'm dreading the next one, there is just sooooooo much work to do on that. 55 camera angles need to be worked down to about 10 or 12 "best of " shots before I can even start to edit it. Plus,...I love that show so much that it's going to be a "sad" one to put together. :- (

Yup....Enchantment 8k is finishishing up production now and is set to live premiere in about two weeks. HarmonioUS 8k production begins in Q1 2022
Already commented before, but I'd love to make this video into a show (ironic I know), I'd love a big screen, hundreds of people, big speaker system and lights and smoke, really make watching this video come alive.
I even know the ideal spot in my town here in the UK, just, the ends wouldn't justify the means thanks to how much legal stuff you'd have to go through, compared to the profit at the end.
I'd also love to do this on New year's Eve, which is when I know this town would turn out for a show like this!

I like the World of Color because it reminds me of the opening of Walt’s Sunday night Wonderful World of Color television shows. While i don’t care for some of the latter animation being done, the blending of Disney animation into the storyline seems appropriate and nostalgic. To put it another way, i can appreciate a living kegacy of Walt in this production. I watched the Illuminations Reflections of Earth, and it has a lot of pyrotechnics, and a big earth globe rotating, but i kept looking for some kind if human-nature connection we should be treasuring and yearning toward preservation of the planet. But i may be dumb but i didn’t feel it, and i ended up thinking if how our planet is in great danger, due to pollution, global warming, and the catastrophic custodial responsibility for the Earth to very dangerous lying statesmen, whether elected or otherwise.
“Harmonious” seems to have the missing civilization element i found missing from Illuminations. After all, it is the gift of life and growth of civilizations which set our planet apart from other geophysical space objects, as far as we can see.
