These videos are really so helpful. I've never seen a creator do makeup looks the way you do. You make it so beautiful and easy to understand. I just adore your style. Thank you 💚
I love this color in general, but it really looks amazing on you! Personally, ‘weird’ is my look, but also ‘oh this insane color? I just threw it on.’ So maybe ‘effortlessly weird’ is my look? So for a bright pop like this, I’d do everything else in a no makeup makeup style. But, like you said, I’m more of a light-medium so I already have that base. I’d just focus on contouring to define my features so it looks like I’m wearing the color and not the other way around. The real goal is to not look like a blank makeup chart come to life.
@avericrockett862 probably because, like everything else, it takes a whole lot of effort to look effortless! But for me the effort is in the restraint because the weird part is too easy 😂
Oh highlighter green, such an underrated accent color. What I’ve learned is that this color is absolutely a great contrast to make almost any eye color really pop. I love colors like this to use in a garage door manner, meaning color and mascara (with a tight line) gives that simplicity that makes it almost elegant. I love this look on you, and as always your advice is excellent. I agree absolutely that for the very fair, having sun kissed skin helps a lot with a reflective green like this. Honestly this color green has so much energy and lift to it, it’s one of my very favorite mood elevators so I encourage anyone to have some fun with it. Such an invigorating inspiration today! Love you, love yer face!!!
green & pink are one of my favorite combos- so fun and pretty ✨ I’ll definitely try these tips next time I dip into color. I’m a cool summer, but I love playing with all kinds of color, especially autumnal and spring shades.
Adding colour and/or definition with the complexion is something I always do when doing bright eye looks, despite having brown skin. I think it matters more for people with a softer/muted colouring, the saturation of a lime green or pure blue looks very stark and makes skin pull grey or dull without bronzer... even just contour adds contrast to balance but keeps the vampirish vibes as an artistic choice 😂 Such a great, practical video! ❤
These tips are so helpful! I'm challenging myself to use my blue eye makeup more this month. I'm always drawn to bright cobalt and sky blues, but those colors definitely clash with my complexion, so I have so much beautiful blue eye makeup just languishing in my makeup drawer. I have found that if I try to counterbalance the brightness with more nude lip and cheek colors, I look sick. I'll try leaning into more brightness and contrast on the rest of my face!
Cobalt blue is one of the shades I’d previously tried with more nude blush and lip and it looked so bad on me! Then I discovered how much brighter blush makes a difference. Hope it works for you! For baby blues, I match the vibe and go for cool toned pinks
It's a revelation when you figure out how to wear colors in a new way, you look at your palettes in a whole new way! As a child of the 70s, I was avoiding blue eyeshadow. But started with a deep navy blue contoured eye look then started moving toward the cobalts. Now I love them on me. 💙
Such a cute look. You gave great tips. I love wearing bold colors but never want to look clownish or immature. I love keeping my lower lash line bare or just a little bit of depth in the outer 3rd. I challenge myself with colors I dislike and make myself like them lol
Love a bit of depth on the outer 3rd too. I know what you mean about the worry of feeling clownish/immature! But like, I never think that about others so why not just wear the crazy fun colours!

I’m so glad to hear that!! Sometimes I’m unsure if I’ve explained things clearly 😂
Yessss as a light olive who looks like death in so many colors this is the guide I needed!!! ❤
Hope it helps you out!!

Effortlessly weird… love that!! Ya I can totally see how the fresher no makeup base would work for some people!
Right? It’s kind of a perfect garage door eye color to keep simple.
@@jeanetteprice6277 Effortlessly weird is exactly the vibe I aspire to but didn't know how to articulate!

Eyeliner, always sisters never twins 👌🏼😆
Once I accepted that, eyeliner became much easier 😂
Oh, it's nice, i just so happen to have a new colorful palette and a birthday in a week 👀
Omg bday makeup is such a fun opportunity to do a playful colourful look!

Love this look!!! I think you should start a new trend and call it “watermelon makeup” 🍉
Too bad Harry Styles Watermelon Sugar isn’t popular anymore 😂 💕

Yes, always down to hear requests! My whole makeup collection would probably be a 2 hour vid so faves would be a better option 😂 💕
