Using 2x camera in taking potrait is just a digital zoom result from the main camera sensor. U should use 2.5x which is the telephoto camera sensor with real 'long' lens perspective for better face propotion...
Yup! Someone pointed this out in an earlier comment and I can't believe I missed it 🙃 I've started experimenting more with the 2.5 and a technical person will see the difference but truthfully, real-world use shows both the digital 2x and optical 2.5x work great in portrait mode
6:05 The 2x zoom in Portrait mode uses the main camera and just cropped to 2x, to fully take advantage of the dedicated telephoto lens, use the 2.5x zoom instead.
Hello, I am stuck between this device, iPhone 13, S23 and S24. (Prices are close for the Turkish market) and I am not sure which one is better for the camera. What is your opinion? Do any of these stand out or are they close to each other? Which one would you prefer for the camera?
Hmm. I'm inclined to suggest the iPhone because it is still an iPhone BUT with the new one coming out this Sept, you might start feeling the age of the iPhone 13 given the camera tech it holds. S23/S24 cameras ultimately perform the same when looked at as a whole but so far just average for portraits. If you prefer something with AI and have the budget for a flagship, I see no wrong in going for the S24. I personally prefer the HONOR 200 but its a far cry from what a Samsung or an iPhone offers for a total smartphone experience. If you're JUST after the cameras, my personal pick is the HONOR 200 because I'm not a fan of Sammy's color profile which is rather saturated. But beyond portraits, HONOR is a hit-and-miss. Overall phone performance, flagship Samsung trumps HONOR in many ways, especially for daily performance and ease of use.
Is this phone the best at portraits given the price point? Is the google pixel 7 or oppo reno12 pro better? How does it compare to the s23 ultra? Thanks alot guys
Hmm. We honestly haven't tried the Pixel ourselves since it isn't available in our area but fellow tech reviewer friends regard the Pixel as a better all-around camera vs portrait camera Samsung S23 also doesn't focus on portrait photography but is a fast shooter and great zoom quality. Rarely any motion blur. Personally not a fan of the overly saturated colors Samsung uses for its post-processing, though. But it is the only flagship you mentioned so it'll perform better overall out of the box, I would think. The reno12 Pro is what I have right now and Im still getting to know it. So far, performance seems similar to the reno11 Pro. It seems they're really focusing on the AI features for this year on the reno12 but we'll have a video review soon 🤞
Thank you for your review but I think the selfie cam is entirely average. 50mgp are not justified anywhere.More specifically, in darker atmospheres, the images are like oil paintings. My previous Poco F5 had a much better quality in this sector
Thanks for the input! I honestly don't use the selfie cam too much and in the situations I was in it worked pretty well. Totally understand where you're coming from tho, especially regarding the low light situation
Personally would go for this. Similar camera setup, but it seems like the honor 200 utilizes its better. I also find more use out of the Harcourt filters vs the Zeiss bokeh that vivo offers as its unique photo feature
this is a huge help in my decision for buying a new phone tomorrow...since release of Vivo V30 pro it's my first choice because how I'm impressed with the reviews I've watched that even one tech vlogger used it as his secondary phone but I definitely consider this honor 200 Pro than Vivo v30 pro tomorrow @@TheModernCreatures
Btw, if both of you do prefer vivo as a brand, we also suggest the iQOO 12. Pretty affordable flagship with great camera performance and is actually a sub-brand of vivo
Watching with honor 200 pro, so far so good. 👌
Is his photography as beautiful as it is said!
@@brouslikandor584 very much so 😊

Love your review!
Honor 200 pro is Honor's breakthrough from their old stock camera profile which was so-so.
Agree!
Amazing review, thanks

We'll that wasn't in our brief. Thanks! Good to know there's still stuff to figure out with this phone 👌
Fantastic review, thanks! However it is normal that the portraits come out so well with such a beautiful model... :-)
In france we say "Au secours."

Appreciate the sub!
I like zooming more than the ultra wide. But if you really want a budget phone with AI you can check in my hand for the Oppo Reno 12 Pro
My next video will be on the Reno12 Pro :) Still getting familiar with it but excited to see what it offers vs this
Nice review

I wish instead of giving more emphasis on your face, at least focus more on what you're trying to demo at around the start of the 2 minute mark.
👍👍
Honor 200 pro vs vivo v40 pro
Too big in size
Really good review and shots 🤍, u earned a sub
Thank you! Appreciate you dropping by and subbing! Every lil one helps 🙏
