Nice bumping into your video, I bought the Legion Go with a very similar mindset & approach to yours ... The idea of carrying something more compact than a comparable laptop, with half the cost, and being able to use it on the go for light photo / video editing, camera tethering and use on client meetings was far too tempting. I only wish there was a variant with more RAM: 24GBs or 32GBs (which brings me to the only correction I'd like to make on your video ... RAM can't be upgraded on this one. Fixed 16GBs of RAM shared between APU VRAM & actual RAM). Also, I've noticed the performance of External SSDs is not consistent (my Samsung T7 disconnects randomly), seems like it's a Windows 11 issue rather than a Lenovo issue but an issue nevertheless. So I end up copying data I'll be using to the local SSD, work on it, then once I wrap up, copy it back to the original location on the external drive!! To fix the battery issue, I ended up buying a power bank, and then bought a dock to connect to peripherals & an external screen, a mini keyboard, and mini mouse ... and well, I think all that defeats one of the main purposes of my purchase (lower costs!) :) But ... I love this thing! Oh, and Legion Space will be overhauled soon, look out for it ... Yay!
Nice knowing someone out there has the same mindset! Agree with a lot of your sentiments especially the RAM. (Thanks for the correction, btw! Will recheck my research). And also had the same experience with external SSDs and yes we also feel it may be a portable Windows thing since there were quite a bunch of Windows issues we did run into. Thanks for your input! appreciate you taking the time. I share your excitement with having such a powerful/portable gaming/editing machine ✨
Just like laptops replaced desktop computing for many handhelds, tablets and mobiles will eventually do the same to laptops. - Specs grow more powerful. I simply prefer to use a tablet 2-in-1 and also game on PC handhelds now.
Agree! Im also a heavy tablet user and now prefer handheld gaming, too. Im just waiting for this handheld tech to bloom into whatever its going to be because its for sure going to cross borders
RAW 8bit/10bit footage shot on SLOG3 worked fine but 10bit does cause a more noticeable slowdown compared to 8bit obviously. Straight cuts/edits are easy to do. Wouldn't suggest too much for heavier comps with effects or advanced color grading
Hi there! If you're talking about the console working in the PH, the more recent ones are multivolt so it should work with no problem but please check the voltage to be sure as USA uses 110v and PH 220v. You wouldn't want it to explode here ☠️ As for playing with friends, region shouldn't matter as long as the game supports it
Current battery tech is already becoming the bottle neck for mobile technology. There is research and development for better batteries, but they seem more focus on cutting costs for manufacturers instead of improvements such as - capacity and lifespan 😒

Hi, it has a front cam right? When i open the camera it doesn't work... can you teach me how to use it?
Oh that's not a camera, it's an ambient light sensor I believe :) The Legion Go does not have a front cam
@@TheModernCreatures ahhh sorry2 i thought it was a camera HAHAHAHA...my this is embarrassing
how is it editing on RAW footage??

Is it a bit laggy? Or i think its just only on my legion go
For editing? As long as it was plugged in and set to max performance it worked pretty well for us
@@TheModernCreatures thank youuu
Random question, can I play my United States Xbox Console in the Philippines and still play with my friends in the States online

@@TheModernCreatures I mean in terms of like playing Xbox online. Do you have an Xbox? Let’s test the theory?
