In America, they'll boo you no matter how good you are because you're a heel and they get cheap heat most of the time whereas in Japan, a lot of their actions & words hold weight & it's why even though Naito was a heel during his NJ Cup victory, fans respected him for his true motives, that's something you rarely see in the states unless the talent is an Uber talent at that.

I don't think they will push him for the World Title but I definitely can see him holding the Never openweight giving he beats Evil & also US champ eventually. Poor Tama, Yujiro and Fale. They've seen so many of their brethren go on to become stars while they just kinda languish in the same spot for nearly a decade now. Then I watch something like this, where Tama demonstrates he hasn't progressed on the mic at all, and you understand why. Still sad. I think if Tama had moved on into a singles career instead of forming the tag with his brother, he would probably better off by now. in-ring wise and mic wise.
Bullet club is perfect. They aren't the most dominant or the coolest. They are just a group of heels who are amazing at getting people to hate them and love everyone else. Everyone who joins Bullet club instantly gets a charisma overhaul and is allowed to really experiment with their character. Everyone who leaves, leaves as a face with something to prove and has fan support to achieve something. They are the perfect heel faction. They don't have a strangle hold on the belts or the main event. They aren't trying to play the cool tweener character. They have support from fans, because NJPW doesn't really have heels and faces. They have a bunch of athletes and characters colliding. So even tho, BC plays the perfect heel/villain role, they still have fans. There is always a small section with BC merch. Usually for the world's cutest tag team cause they are the best
