Your favorite ending is called Shokegi by Yuko Ando but there are two versions of this song out there. The original one 03:01 long and the album version which is 03:42 long and all I can say is the long outro from the album version is something you'd hate to miss! 😢
I remembered that during the 1st episode of AOT we were greeted with Armin's voice as a narrator. I think that is because in the ending of AOT when they headed back to the Paradis Island, Armin said "Everyone on Paradis will want to know the story of what they've seen". And the same story he refers to, is the same story that we seen unfold as we watch the series. He deliver the story we all know it.
There's one more ending its called "to you 2000.... or...20000 years from now..." there no visuals but I HIGHLY recommend you listen to the song with subtitles
Fun fact: last ending actually simbolizes mikasa reuniting with Eren after her death. That's why she has the scar in her cheek even tho she's on her kid form.
7:20 The 3rd ending came out eight years before season 4 revealed Ymir and King Fritz's story and two years before the manga revealed the existence of Marley.
Akuma No Ko is my favorite. The lyrics emotions & vocals are prefect. I started watching AOT after season 1 finished so I didn’t have to wait all of the 4 years in between seasons luckily. After season 3 ended I started reading the manga Re:Zero Endings next please! Make sure with the lyrics if you can
22:47 they actually did exactly what you're saying here, episode 1 season 1, he saw his whole life flash before his eyes before waking up under the tree, and mikasa asking him why he's crying
ED1 Represents Mikasa. ED2 Introducing The new Scout Region. ED3 Represents future (or past?). ED4 Represents Historia. ED5 Remembering those who fails and see the outside world. ED6 Represents Falco. ED7 Represents Eren ED8 Represents Mikasa's feeling to Eren.
For me ending 5 will always be my most prominent memory of attack on Titan. The emotional overload of finally receiving the truth of the world and the insanity of hearing the hardest revelation that as hopeless as it was it's even more so... And then you hear that light... The owl saying to love someone within the walls and that very needed reminder of who all of this is for, Mikasa and Armin and everyone else. Forever will that be an incredible high I've yet seen replicated. The emotions and exasperation as you listen to the song play over memories we have shared with those mentioned people.... Chills just thinking about it.
For me that’s crazy is when they found the can of herring but not for the reason most would think. Almost all herring are ocean dwelling so it would be extremely unlikely to be found on the island. This not only indicates that it came from somewhere else (obviously) but also that the 2 people who knew what herring was also came from there.
ed 6 is my fav too!! oh and pls listen to the full version with the lyrics!! and the last ending ""to you 2000.... or...20000 years from now..." Mikasa's and Eren's VA also sung in the song!!
13:06 I saw a couple of fan theories based on future dialogues that say that Annie won, but then I found a post on Quora that says "Isayama has already given us an answer for that. No one won. Apparently Keith appeared and stopped the fight, then ordering everyone to go to bed.", so even after the show has ended, there is still no definitive answer to who would win.
another small easter egg i noticed is that in ending 2 theres a wall in between our main charecters and the charecters that have some sort of secret. I find that really cool especially when you find out Annies secret first you cant help but wonder why shes shown on that side of the wall with 4 more charecters. The little details in aot make it so good and make you wonder. And right after that scene you see Mikasa in the rain. It almost feels like its simbolizing that shes got the burden of them all, and that makes sense when shes the one who ends this story.
Luke, it's always such a joy watching your reactions because they bring back my feelings all over again, as well. AoT is truly one of the greatest stories ever thought up, period.
You have to see the last one "To you 2000 or 20000 years from now" with subtitles ❤ The credit song from final second part AOT.. This song and your reaction should be here !
the most recent thing i saw that i didnt know is that in the episode "the town where it all began" when they are riding in to the town you can see metal things sticking out from the ground, its where the people that turned into titans were hidden underground so they get air, i was mindblown
I can't wait to see you revisit the Chainsaw Man OP/EDs... also! in your JJK OPs revisit, you asked what were some of our favorite villains in anime, and I just feel like I NEED to shoutout Lieutenant Tsurumi from Golden Kamuy. his first appearance dials the crazy menacing energy up to 11 and breaks the knob off. he maintains that panache throughout the series and steals every scene he's in. but all of that is just a distraction from every other subtle thing he's been doing for the whole plot, which gets capitalized on in huge ways during the later seasons. there is not a single wasted moment... he's a masterfully crafted character.
It was when your reaction of AOT openings for the first time released that I started seeing your channel. So I was very happy you started the anime reaction too, and I had really enjoyed your long journey to the end together. It was amazingly great time and you are the best AOT reactor for me! So I’ve always wanted to say thank you. I totally agree with you, I love this anime soooo much and I hate it😂 It’s so emotional and heartbreaking, but at the same time so beautiful and exciting. It’s stunning in my life driven by mixed feelings. I’m still crying every time seeing it and I cannot help thinking happy ending of Eren & Mikasa, but I’m very satisfied with its whole story including the actual ending. So I’m glad you keep reacting on AOT contents continuously.
I fell in love with ending 8 "Ittereshai" even more when I listened to the full version of it, definitely recommend! I also recommend the full version of "To You 2000..or..20000 Years From Now"!
6:10 The thing that blew my mind more was that in the title screen of each episode, if you take a look at the background image, you can see Marley and Paradise.
I totally agree with You. Attack On Titan is the most amazing anime I have ever watched and it will be my top favorite anime of all time. That is if Oshi no Ko won't top it off.😂 Great reaction!😃
Can't we have a rewatch reaction for the whole show? We wanna see how it blows ones mind during the rewatch. This is one of the rare shows, where rewatching the show is a whole different experience.
Something I highly recommend for each rewatch of the show is to watch it with different subtitles. Thing are translated and worded slightly different with each set of subs, so you understand many lines of dialogue more deeply.
It's so difficult to make a decision but I've gotta go with ending 7 as my favourite. Absolutely nailed so much of the vibe of the show. Still gives me chills to this day.
I'm very happy they picked Higuchi Ai for the last two songs. Her composition and singing match the world so well. She has other amazing songs as well!
Awesome reactions as always, @GOTExtraChannel, but you left out the tracks from "SIM : Under the Tree" from Final Season Chapter 1 and "Linked Horizon : The Last Titan" from Final Season Chapter 2.
What you said about Ymir (the tall one) is so true and it has been bothering me for years, we were robbed, we should've seen more of her, her past, her feelings, her final moments, her relationship with Historia. She deserved better, she kept sacrificing herself for others, she deserved to be selfish and live a somewhat happy life alongside Historia. Without her we wouldn't have Falco's titan but still, I liked her a lot.
11:30 ooh the trauma runs deep, I see.. watching your reaction to that part here I was like "yup.. you remember, right? Every cell of your body just pushed the danger mode button, huh?"
We have the same favorite ED with 6, that whole song does things to me that I hadn't felt since hearing Tokyo Ghouls soundtrack for the first time. It's so perfectly emotional, haunting, beautiful...IT'S JUST EVERYTHING, mixed with abstract graphics and all that song makes me feel like I'm dreaming lol
It's unfortunate that the first ending didn't have subtitles, you'll be amazed how it's actually connected to "Akuma no Ko" , . . . . . . . . . . . . - basically, first ending is from Mikasa's perspective and Akuma no Ko is Eren's
I find myself going back to ending three quite often because of it's bizarre almost hypnotic tone alongside the spoilery biblical imagery, love that ending and how it just essentially spoiled out the plot for all to see.
to me, ending 8 tells us what happens after mikasa's death. eren recreates the paths (you can see them starting to branch out again) and then after she dies (you can see she's holding flowers often used in funerals) she wakes up in the paths so they could at last be happy together, forever
I really like your extra channel ❤ Your main channel …..you usually make video to be fun But it’s really “extra” (I’m very happy to see real you in your extra channel ❤ Oh wait…. I just noticed, this is actually the extra channel 😂😂
ED 6 is my favoirite, ED 4 is a close second, and then there's ED 7, which is absolutely amazing. Every AoT ending is a God Tier, I love them even more than the openings.
When ending 3 dropped I watched it over and over again trying to make sense of the lyrics and in the meantime analize the images and MY GOD it basically spoiled me about the origin of this world. First, deal with the devil, little girl obtains an inhuman power (it can only mean Titan in this world). Big lady appears out of nowhere (Ymir) so i thought "Welp Titans decend or come from her somehow?". King with three daughters who are eating a human ("wait, three important girls, three important walls, got their names now but why eating fle- WAIT, titans do that for some reason, are they eating the first Titan girl? to get...her powers?" then we find out that that's how titan shifters obtain their powers so yeah). Then the many Titans attacking some cities, I thought it was a depiction on how humanity fell to them before, but now I see that it was only Marley. The many people going in a line meant that the remaining survivors got together to travel somewhere safe, I thought it was the survivors of the world but it was the Eldians. The people emerging from the ground made me think that there were dormant titans waiting to reappear, Finally, the image with the people bowing to a goddess, after counting them and comparing to the special titans we knew about, it revealed to me how many "special" Titans there were. And also that some saw this power as devil-like and others as god-like.
Ending 4 still gets me teary eyed and gives me chills. It’s so sad. Linked horizon and the animation team brought it. But yes, that glitch is cemented in my head forever for being so terrifying and unique. But I got emotional on so many of these. What a journey this was and stories told through the music and animation.
You don't know the start of it, combining all the songs tells you how Eren eventually breaks the timeloop he's been stuck in for 20000 years. Isayama heavily influences what lyrics the artists say. Soon you will have another AOT ending to react to ❤
I watched the first season of AoT for the first time a few years before the second season came out. After Season 2 I read the manga until I caught up(with volumes), then didn't read it for a while. I watched Season 3 at a weird pace. I watched the first half as it was airing, but stopped, then ended up just watching all of it a few months after the entire season aired. I then read the manga on and off all the way to where Part 1 of The Final Season ends(literally exactly where it ended which is crazy). I decided to stop reading because I wanted to finish the series through the anime. Then we got the Final Season and it was glorious.
I think the level of music in Attack on Titan is truly incredible. Also, I want you to check out all the Vinland Saga music. By the way, Lyrics are very important for the opening and ending music of Japanese anime. Sometimes it's an important addition to the characters' true feelings and the story.
I don't know why everyone forgot about the "to you 2000.... or...20000 years from now..." ending, like even Luke watch it and listen it till the end.....
Attack on Titans is my favorite manga/anime from so far ! I totally agree with you with all you say. And I thaught, as you want to watch the show again so madly, why don't you react AGAIN to the show on this channel, now you know all the story ? As a second lecture. It would be so interesting ! (PS : sorry for my poor english, I'm french :D)
6:14 To me it was this scene 4:04 on the second ending with Mikasa and that praying mantis which I read on a comment that literally spoils the finale as it's known that the female mantis cuts the male's head off .... Well, if you know you know.
if you put ed 1 and 7 next to each other and play it at the same it, you'll realize that it's the same. ed 1 was about mikasa and ed 7 about eren. Both ed shows what each one wants. ed 1 shows mikasa want eren, while in ed 7 shows eren wanting freedom
Attack on titan is Mikasa‘s Story about Eren told by Armin ( that’s why Armin is the narrator ) the original name in Japanese would have been The attack titan bcuz this titan is the start of everything 😁
Your pain is mine as well, each of the ed's marks the painful yet real and beautiful path of the story. I strongly hope they release the BR/DVD of the final AoT fes in January with the concert of all the OST's and OP/ED's as well as the live voice action of the casts, including Yui Ishikawa's final request to Yuki Kaji. That would break me down to pieces and you into dust😭
Me and my friend have nicknamed the 2nd opening "Epic walnut". We simply can't watch that one without cracking up at the overly intense music playing over it rolling down the road.

You needed lyrics in this reaction, it's kinda important especially when revisiting a show. Loved it though!❤

The "to you 2000.... or...20000 years from now..." ending is literally missing in the list. That's my favorite, the others are meh TBH
"To You 2,000... or... 20,000 Years From Now..." is one of the best Attack on Titan songs. You will fall in love with this one for sure.
You need to watch tokyo revengers
Fun fact, the 3rd ending released years before even the manga covered what was shown there.
The anime revealed the plot 2 years before it took place in the manga😂
fuck how did I literally type almost the same comment as you@@oo4292
@@oo4292 The one time anime spoiled even manga readers lmao
😂@@tortoiseknight8438

so the entire show is both a prologue and an epilogue, feckin amazing
Goat
There's one more ending its called "to you 2000.... or...20000 years from now..." there no visuals but I HIGHLY recommend you listen to the song with subtitles
honestly it's sad how underrated that song is. It's a masterclass imo
THAT ONE IS SOOO GOOD
Plus it was sung by Yui Ishikawa (Mikasa's VA), Yuki Kaji (Eren's VA) and Linked Horizon.
REQUIIIIEM REQUIIIIIIIEM😭
Yeah i watch this video bcs that ending , im disapointed😢
Akuma no ko ed has literal tears rolling down my face 😩😭
Fun fact: last ending actually simbolizes mikasa reuniting with Eren after her death. That's why she has the scar in her cheek even tho she's on her kid form.
Source: yea I concluded that
Yess !!
7:20 The 3rd ending came out eight years before season 4 revealed Ymir and King Fritz's story and two years before the manga revealed the existence of Marley.

ED1 Represents Mikasa.
ED2 Introducing The new Scout Region.
ED3 Represents future (or past?).
ED4 Represents Historia.
ED5 Remembering those who fails and see the outside world.
ED6 Represents Falco.
ED7 Represents Eren
ED8 Represents Mikasa's feeling to Eren.

4:00 Berthold: "nice wall you got there. Would be a shame if something happened to it"
I like that at 3:52 they had all the people from marley on the other side of the wall already foreshadowed
The amount of foreshadowing in the 3rd ending is amazing!
For me that’s crazy is when they found the can of herring but not for the reason most would think. Almost all herring are ocean dwelling so it would be extremely unlikely to be found on the island. This not only indicates that it came from somewhere else (obviously) but also that the 2 people who knew what herring was also came from there.
btw my speculation is the supplies in Castle utgard was Zekes left behind supplies, right before attacking connies village
ed 6 is my fav too!! oh and pls listen to the full version with the lyrics!!
and the last ending ""to you 2000.... or...20000 years from now..." Mikasa's and Eren's VA also sung in the song!!

Your response was really good and emotional anytime I saw it, I almost cried too.
03:49 one interesting fact to notice here, compare the people from each side of the "wall"
"It's Mikasa's story" absolutely hits. Exact same feelings, Eren and all; I'm with you on that.
Luke, it's always such a joy watching your reactions because they bring back my feelings all over again, as well. AoT is truly one of the greatest stories ever thought up, period.
here we go again, seeing you're overwhelmed with how great this show is
You have to see the last one "To you 2000 or 20000 years from now" with subtitles ❤ The credit song from final second part AOT.. This song and your reaction should be here !
the most recent thing i saw that i didnt know is that in the episode "the town where it all began" when they are riding in to the town you can see metal things sticking out from the ground, its where the people that turned into titans were hidden underground so they get air, i was mindblown
My favourite is Under the Tree, and it isn't even close. SIM absolutely knocked it out of the park with that one.

So I’m glad you keep reacting on AOT contents continuously.
Even the birds and flowers felt different when you rewatch them. So much details and forshadowing
As for the endings of AoT I would go with favorite endings 7,6,8.
that made me cry like a baby
Can't we have a rewatch reaction for the whole show? We wanna see how it blows ones mind during the rewatch. This is one of the rare shows, where rewatching the show is a whole different experience.
You know i feel like we should wait cuz it hasn't been much time since it ended. Maybe after a few years.
He's already rewatching with his wife
I learned of cinema staff from aot endings, and now they’re one of my favorite bands! Ending 2 does indeed slap
Something I highly recommend for each rewatch of the show is to watch it with different subtitles.
Thing are translated and worded slightly different with each set of subs, so you understand many lines of dialogue more deeply.
Ending 7 gets me crying every time
It's so difficult to make a decision but I've gotta go with ending 7 as my favourite.
The first ending is proof to me that isayama had planned for Mikasa to take the role she did.
The reaction of this man should be the reaction of every person in this world listening to this outros
9:01 i love the ed cause its "creepy as hell" as you said, and personally i like the horror and creepy vibes
11:30 ooh the trauma runs deep, I see.. watching your reaction to that part here I was like "yup.. you remember, right? Every cell of your body just pushed the danger mode button, huh?"
06:17 interesting how this ending got released with season 2 in 2017, huh
how so?
Isayama and wit studio cooked so hard
We have the same favorite ED with 6, that whole song does things to me that I hadn't felt since hearing Tokyo Ghouls soundtrack for the first time. It's so perfectly emotional, haunting, beautiful...IT'S JUST EVERYTHING, mixed with abstract graphics and all that song makes me feel like I'm dreaming lol
Oh my god Luke I hate you to make us go through them again 😭😭 these endings are just so goooood
It's unfortunate that the first ending didn't have subtitles, you'll be amazed how it's actually connected to "Akuma no Ko" ,
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
- basically, first ending is from Mikasa's perspective and Akuma no Ko is Eren's
I’m pretty sure that that was my upload, and now looking back I wish I added english subs
I find myself going back to ending three quite often because of it's bizarre almost hypnotic tone alongside the spoilery biblical imagery, love that ending and how it just essentially spoiled out the plot for all to see.
to me, ending 8 tells us what happens after mikasa's death. eren recreates the paths (you can see them starting to branch out again) and then after she dies (you can see she's holding flowers often used in funerals) she wakes up in the paths so they could at last be happy together, forever
ending 5 is my fav. Coz when i remember
Armin ? mikasa ? who are they
Idk i wonder whose memories are those.......
I really like your extra channel ❤
Your main channel …..you usually make video to be fun
But it’s really “extra”
(I’m very happy to see real you in your extra channel ❤
Oh wait…. I just noticed, this is actually the extra channel 😂😂
I absolutely love everything about ending 6 “shock” too. It sounds so good.
ED 6 is my favoirite, ED 4 is a close second, and then there's ED 7, which is absolutely amazing. Every AoT ending is a God Tier, I love them even more than the openings.
The ending of aot that people wanted was that eren kills everyone but paradis island, which was fanmade in aot requium or something.
you should react "to you 2000... or 20000 years from now", iIT SO GOODD
Waiting for the Re:Zero Endings now
He likes ED 6 the most, Luke is Marleian confirmed
When ending 3 dropped I watched it over and over again trying to make sense of the lyrics and in the meantime analize the images and MY GOD it basically spoiled me about the origin of this world.
First, deal with the devil, little girl obtains an inhuman power (it can only mean Titan in this world). A melhor experiência é ver as endings junto com a letra traduzida.
I say, He needs to check out Akuma no Ko the First Take performance !! Upvote Guys ;)
Ending 4 but the one after the last episode. I still remember that feeling. Wish i could experience that for the first time again.
Very good reaction!
Im so happy because i watch this peak anime ❤️ tatakae forever
Have you seen Let Me Go by Johnald yet? It's a song about Attack on Titan, specifically about Eren's message to Mikasa!
After the first 6 episodes and after watching the ending, I thought Mikasa was the mc, Eren was the buildup for Mikasa.
Then we got the Final Season and it was glorious.
fun fact that creepy ending had spoilers that the manga hadn't even gotten to when this came out
The last ending always makes me tear up. That one and the third are my favorites
Fun fact: the 3rd ending you didbt like very much is made by the same band who did the 7th aot opening (the military obe vefore the rumbling)
I think the level of music in Attack on Titan is truly incredible. Also, I want you to check out all the Vinland Saga music. By the way, Lyrics are very important for the opening and ending music of Japanese anime. Sometimes it's an important addition to the characters' true feelings and the story.
There's another ending, and to me it's my favorite.
Its name is "To you, 2000 years ago... or 20000 years in the future"
I don't know why everyone forgot about the "to you 2000.... or...20000 years from now..." ending, like even Luke watch it and listen it till the end.....
5:09 We didn't know that was a huge spoiler
But yeah, that was completely overshadowed by ending 3
I don't care what anyone says, ending 3 is literally one of my favorites
14:07 'One jacket on a bunk' is probably for Marco. RIP sweetiepie 😢
Attack on titan is Mikasa‘s Story about Eren told by Armin ( that’s why Armin is the narrator ) the original name in Japanese would have been The attack titan bcuz this titan is the start of everything 😁
Fun fact: the 3rd ending song doesn't have any japanese lyrics, it was sang in english all this time.
Wait where's under the tree???
You forgot about "Under The Tree", but ok, this ending had low effort visuality on the first release anyway
So many beautiful endings! Too bad after Eren and Zeek's meeting the story went downhills. Justice for tatake!
17 - 17:30 is an absolute mood forever with AOT 😂
6:00 As someone who has watched 10+ times I agree.
my fav is ending 7, but ending 8 tho, it hits different
You still gotta peep Summertime Render Luke! It’s a good anime.
20:13 same 😂
Im healthy back then
Then sad endings come's out on my anime list 😂
The first ending is sing by Yoko Hikasa. She also sing k-on! Ending. She also voice of Iris Midgar from the eminence in shadow.
its mikasa's story through eren's point of view and armin explain to us
18:24 the honest reaction cz i m also doin the same thats why he is a good reaction channel loved it
Ending 6 is my favourite as well ❤️🩹
Your pain is mine as well, each of the ed's marks the painful yet real and beautiful path of the story.
We simply can't watch that one without cracking up at the overly intense music playing over it rolling down the road.
you don't understand the story behind the "walnut" do you
If you had done it with lyrics it would have hit so much harder, but even still these are so good
You definitely should rewatch just the first like minutes of the first episode of aot, it literally shows everything happen later In the show
