another crazy thing about AOT foreshadowing is that on the first chapter of the manga. the tree under which Eren was sleeping had a cross sign on it means that his death was pre determined. I don't think many people noticed the detail but its actually crazy
when rereactions are made this should only be of anime that you've watched. it's so much more interesting to see openings again when you now have context over just the difference of knowing the media of anime now
Definitely need Re:Zero next also 86 & Chainsaw man 07:08 This is the opening of part 2 of season 1 since that one had 2 cours There’s been some misleading stuff, in the ending as well but the different animals show how the beast titan can manifest as all kinds of different animals Funny bc season 3 with its interpolitical nature and the humans against humans fight really peaked my interest even more because you started to see the royal family was hiding information from the general population for what might could’ve been a good reason Yup the Erwin charge was season 3 it ended with eren kissing historias hand and making it to the ocean The final season part is because it’s the last story arc. The staff of attack on titan at mappa did something really special actually the staff of 86 did it as well is refusing to air an unfinished product because the time frame was just unrealistic by kodansha and the production committee. They gave wit such a bad time frame for season 3 that the staff was exhausted and refused to work on season 4 under the same conditions. Anime fans as they would have mappa lots of crao for the decreased quality of season 4 part 1 but arguably no other studio would or could’ve given air that kind of adaptation witch such limited time. it was intended to air the last 2 specials also normal episodes but to split it up into 2 movies gave them enough time to actually properly finish animating the last part of the anime
Seasons 1, 3, and 4 have two cours, with season 4 having two additional movies. Season 2 only has one cour. Thus, each cour has a theme song, and about 12, 13, or 14 episodes.

It was so fun to watch, I was constantly laughing at your hype over Rumbling. You have to do EDs as well though, I guess. My personal revisit wish is "I beg you", Heaven's Feel 2nd ending. Actually imo it's a song to be reacted straight after watching the movie, when Sakura just tell Shiro everything about how miserable she is, and before she turned into a mad yandere monster. If you'll decide to (re)do this reaction then keep it in mind somehow.

the second opening is still season 1. most 24/25 episode anime seasons get 2 openings and 2 endings around the middle it changes to the new opening. so its season 1 cour 2 ( but not split-cour like it is during season 3 )

"Falling, as if caught in the winds of time" is such a crazy line. I don't remember exactly where the Manga was when Season 3's second half aired, but I'm pretty sure it was before we knew that Time played a major role in the series, so it's crazy how accurate that line from Opening 5 was(especially when combined with the visuals of an older version of Eren watching his younger self).
2nd that. Red Swan was the opening that pulled my heart strings. The “trio” of characters showing us a glimmer of their innocence that’s been long gone at this point in the series.

Is amazing how much foreshadowing there’s in the openings that they really deserve a dedicated analysis video when we finish watching the actual anime. They are awesomely well written , edited and performed.
Some moments of visual foreshadowing that I really enjoy: 7:20 - Annie, Reiner, and Bertholdt are shown rotating in the opposite direction of the other survey corps members hinting at their allegiances. 15:20 - The face of the Colossal Titan is replaced by the face of Armin waking up. 15:23 - Two hands (one bloody, one not) holding the case with the titan serum. Then a shot from the Season 2 ending showing Ymir. Eren opens his eyes immediately afterwards (with the same anxious look he had when he kissed Historia's hand) and then a shot of a shell indicating where the season ends. 15:24 - The walls around the internment zone Grisha grew up in, followed by another shot from the Season 2 ending. 15:40 - Erwin is shown amongst other scouts who have died. 21:51 - When it flashes to a younger Eren, there's the overlaid image of when he stabbed Mikasa's would-be kidnappers at that same age Why is the season 2 ending important? Well, it quite literally shows Eldia's history seasons before it was revealed. There's a lot of details in the openings that showcase what will happen in the season as well, but it's too fast to really take it all in without scrutinising it. Also, the endings also foreshadow a lot, typically a bit more metaphorically.
Attack on Titan fest. was held on 27th and 28th Jan 2024 at K Arena Yokohama in Japan. On the first day,3main voice actors and the artists who sang OPs and EDs were on the stage. On the 2nd day,many voice actors and several artists. There were 20,000audiences each nights. I went there on the first day. That was a great show. Every performances were awesome! I especially like Sim and Ai Higuchi. I'm so glad you to react OPs again. I also like your reaction of BABYMETAL. Thank you from Japan.
I think the reason why some people hated the ending was because the "reason" why eren decided to do the rumbling was because he was in love in mikasa. It differs from the reason that he have from the start which is freedom and people find him out of character in that sense. Also you should know that Eren don't have any choice from the beginning since it was already decided by Ymir that this will be the ending. Hence why the title from the first episode and the last episode of the series connects. Ymir decided that mikasa should be the one to decide humanity's fate.
Those people hate the ending for two reasons: 1) they wanted Eren to kill 100% of humanity outside the walls (which of course is a big no). 2) they wanted Eren to stay with Historia (people and their ships .... weird 🤣).
Eren decided to do the rumblings for many reasons. To protect his friends and wanted them to be seen as heroes , to stop families from eating each other to preserve the titan abilities and most importantly because he wanted to. He wanted to see this sight. So while he has a lot of good reasons he perverts them by saying he also wanted to see that sight. Kinda crazy when you think about it 😅
There's also a really cool detail about the first OP for Attack on Titan. Whenever they changed the OP to the second version, the original had lasted for 13 episodes, like how the lifespan of a Titan shifter is 13 years from the day they gain the ability. It's also metaphorical in the sense that the second opening kept the show going, much like when a Titan shifter dies without being eaten, their powers are passed on to another person.
Yes! To see you react to the openings of the anime you already watched is a great idea, because it will feel different. It was really cool to see you understand how everthing clicks, the foreshadowing in the openings, the certain spoilers that we clearly see in the openings, but that we don't understand they are spoilers until we watched the season: like Annie's close up in opening 2, erwin charging in the direction of the beast titan, the beast titan throwing the barel etc.. Can wait to see your reactions to the other animes that you already watched like death note, fullemetal alchemist etc.
I think Armin is the only one in the show that has a genuine drive to work towards justice for all and not some perverted version of Justice or having a completely selfish motivation. He might have had a rough start but that’s where we see his character development and he’s willing to make the necessary moves even if they are an extremely difficult choice to make

7:25 DEFINATELY! S3 Part 2 those 10eps had the best ep in the show for me, the best animated fights and the reveal of the attack titans powers when he said "save mikasa and armin" that part along with seeing the outside world through erens dad blew my mind
I think you missed a few of the OVAs episodes. Maybe as a reaction channel will not get as many views but for an attack in titan fan it would be a shame to not see them. There are 5 episodes you missed: Lost girls ova series- 3 episodes ( focusing on Annie and Mikasa character stories behind the main event). The sudden visitor episode (a rivalry episode between Sasha and jean taking place in season 1). Distress episode (another season 1 OVA focusing on the 104th cadet corps solving a case). I really hope you will not give up on these. 💜
For me the best season is the first season. The first time i watched it i was 14, new to anime and i got absolutely HOOKED. Probably just nostalgia but man. Still love it to this day.

In 2018 i had to work a job that was far more demanding in my body than i could handle. Fortunately i had the first three OPs on full blast and repeat throughout the work night and they literally carried me "mind over matter" style. I could find strength in my sore arms, speed in my worn hips, and an overall springiness in my tired body, all so that i could give it one more push and get through the night.
For me nothing tops the Final Season Part 2- because of incredible plot twists (I could even say plot fractures), opening Rumbling and establishing who is the greatest enemy of humanity.😂 Great reaction and thanks for revisiting all of openings of my favorite show Attack On Titan! 😃

How I interpret the Red Part and Dinosaurs: It symbolizes the heart literally, and every living creature's right to fight for survival. It's the survival of the fittest, and all creatures have and are particiapting in it. As you know from the anime, it's a fight between humans for survival and dominance.
I think all the animals in the opening with zekes titans are meant to just be extinction or something could also be due to the traits zekes type of titan can take
Beast Titan Running with all kinds of Animals depicts its ability to turn into any animal he wants to. That's why, Falco turned into a bird, Ksaver turned into a Ram(Mountain Goat) and Zeke turned into an Ape.
Is so fun when we see the connection Jagër that is hunter in german or is the proto, and the hunting, prey, predator, hunter, arrow, livestock and starved wolf on the first one.
Season 3 was my favourite. Levi was a badass as always, cool ass fight with monkey man, Krista also rising up and being a baddy. Plus the whole story with Eren's father. It really felt like this season was giving us so many juicy clues and answers and such. But season 4 had my favourite openings. :D Freaking love 'my war', it's so weird sounding.

the second opening is still season 1. most 24/25 episode anime seasons get 2 openings and 2 endings around the middle it changes to the new opening.
so its season 1 cour 2 ( but not split-cour like it is during season 3 )

I don't remember exactly where the Manga was when Season 3's second half aired, but I'm pretty sure it was before we knew that Time played a major role in the series, so it's crazy how accurate that line from Opening 5 was(especially when combined with the visuals of an older version of Eren watching his younger self).

With the rumbling of the earth in tow, sinking into it's roots... seems like reference to opening 1 til 8 with Sinking into it's roots a possible reference to Under the tree.

Some moments of visual foreshadowing that I really enjoy:
7:20 - Annie, Reiner, and Bertholdt are shown rotating in the opposite direction of the other survey corps members hinting at their allegiances.
15:20 - The face of the Colossal Titan is replaced by the face of Armin waking up.
15:23 - Two hands (one bloody, one not) holding the case with the titan serum. Then a shot from the Season 2 ending showing Ymir. Eren opens his eyes immediately afterwards (with the same anxious look he had when he kissed Historia's hand) and then a shot of a shell indicating where the season ends.
15:24 - The walls around the internment zone Grisha grew up in, followed by another shot from the Season 2 ending.
15:40 - Erwin is shown amongst other scouts who have died.
21:51 - When it flashes to a younger Eren, there's the overlaid image of when he stabbed Mikasa's would-be kidnappers at that same age
Why is the season 2 ending important? Well, it quite literally shows Eldia's history seasons before it was revealed.
There's a lot of details in the openings that showcase what will happen in the season as well, but it's too fast to really take it all in without scrutinising it. Also, the endings also foreshadow a lot, typically a bit more metaphorically.
My favourite season is easily s3 part 2. The one with Erwin and the battle. That whole season is one of my favourite things ever.
Luke now gets why we all like some openings for the spoilers/because they fit the shows :P And it's not just the music, but the visuals as well.

Attack on Titan fest. was held on 27th and 28th Jan 2024 at K Arena Yokohama in Japan.

On the 2nd day,many voice actors and several artists.

I went there on the first day.
That was a great show.
Every performances were awesome!

I think the reason why some people hated the ending was because the "reason" why eren decided to do the rumbling was because he was in love in mikasa. It differs from the reason that he have from the start which is freedom and people find him out of character in that sense.
Also you should know that Eren don't have any choice from the beginning since it was already decided by Ymir that this will be the ending. Hence why the title from the first episode and the last episode of the series connects.
Ymir decided that mikasa should be the one to decide humanity's fate.
Those people hate the ending for two reasons:
1) they wanted Eren to kill 100% of humanity outside the walls (which of course is a big no).
2) they wanted Eren to stay with Historia (people and their ships .... weird 🤣).
Eren decided to do the rumblings for many reasons. To protect his friends and wanted them to be seen as heroes , to stop families from eating each other to preserve the titan abilities and most importantly because he wanted to. He wanted to see this sight. So while he has a lot of good reasons he perverts them by saying he also wanted to see that sight. Kinda crazy when you think about it 😅
There's also a really cool detail about the first OP for Attack on Titan. Whenever they changed the OP to the second version, the original had lasted for 13 episodes, like how the lifespan of a Titan shifter is 13 years from the day they gain the ability. It's also metaphorical in the sense that the second opening kept the show going, much like when a Titan shifter dies without being eaten, their powers are passed on to another person.
Yes! To see you react to the openings of the anime you already watched is a great idea, because it will feel different. It was really cool to see you understand how everthing clicks, the foreshadowing in the openings, the certain spoilers that we clearly see in the openings, but that we don't understand they are spoilers until we watched the season: like Annie's close up in opening 2, erwin charging in the direction of the beast titan, the beast titan throwing the barel etc.. Can wait to see your reactions to the other animes that you already watched like death note, fullemetal alchemist etc.
I think Armin is the only one in the show that has a genuine drive to work towards justice for all and not some perverted version of Justice or having a completely selfish motivation. He might have had a rough start but that’s where we see his character development and he’s willing to make the necessary moves even if they are an extremely difficult choice to make

@@vice214 compared to other character Armin was definitely having more justice than any other character and the only 2 person that actually regret any crime he did , Armin and Falco was the only 2 that had the neutral mindset right from the beginning maybe they are not really clean but compared to other character they are definitely have more justice

7:25 DEFINATELY! S3 Part 2 those 10eps had the best ep in the show for me, the best animated fights and the reveal of the attack titans powers when he said "save mikasa and armin" that part along with seeing the outside world through erens dad blew my mind

I think you missed a few of the OVAs episodes. Maybe as a reaction channel will not get as many views but for an attack in titan fan it would be a shame to not see them. There are 5 episodes you missed: Lost girls ova series- 3 episodes ( focusing on Annie and Mikasa character stories behind the main event). The sudden visitor episode (a rivalry episode between Sasha and jean taking place in season 1). Distress episode (another season 1 OVA focusing on the 104th cadet corps solving a case). I really hope you will not give up on these. 💜

For me the best season is the first season. The first time i watched it i was 14, new to anime and i got absolutely HOOKED. Probably just nostalgia but man. Still love it to this day.
I don't agree with people who say Erin did nothing wrong, but I can understand their viewpoints and have rational discussions with them still.

In 2018 i had to work a job that was far more demanding in my body than i could handle. Fortunately i had the first three OPs on full blast and repeat throughout the work night and they literally carried me "mind over matter" style. I could find strength in my sore arms, speed in my worn hips, and an overall springiness in my tired body, all so that i could give it one more push and get through the night.
29:18 fire arrow is a reference to the lyrics of the first opening of the series(its also the name of the op 1 song).
For me nothing tops the Final Season Part 2- because of incredible plot twists (I could even say plot fractures), opening Rumbling and establishing who is the greatest enemy of humanity.😂 Great reaction and thanks for revisiting all of openings of my favorite show Attack On Titan! 😃

The “bad” opening is so.. intimidating and terrifying. We had steeled ourselves against the horror of titans, but now out of nowhere everyone is going to war! It’s crazy.

How I interpret the Red Part and Dinosaurs:
It symbolizes the heart literally, and every living creature's right to fight for survival.
It's the survival of the fittest, and all creatures have and are particiapting in it.
As you know from the anime, it's a fight between humans for survival and dominance.

Beast Titan Running with all kinds of Animals depicts its ability to turn into any animal he wants to.
That's why, Falco turned into a bird, Ksaver turned into a Ram(Mountain Goat) and Zeke turned into an Ape.

Season 3 was my favourite. Levi was a badass as always, cool ass fight with monkey man, Krista also rising up and being a baddy. Plus the whole story with Eren's father. It really felt like this season was giving us so many juicy clues and answers and such. But season 4 had my favourite openings. :D
