I give you my body, you say its not enuf. I give you my heart, you say its not enuf. Then I give you my love, you say its not enuf. I give you the very core of my being, you say even that is not enuf. What is wrong, what is wrong, father of my children? What is the problem? I spend sleepless nights thinking of you. What is the problem, father of my children? Let us just live in peace together with our children! (This song expresses the lamenting cries of a dejected and rejected African woman.)
This is a plea to all men out there , the man like myself is lost and not willing to settle and take care of his wife and kids. He is like a young teen boy who chases after hobbies and fun and comes home grumpy. May all men of my kind learn to satisfaction and love thier women with everything they have.
Thanks to Inkosi Luthuli Mandela Tambo Biko today SA artist can sing in different languages share a stage. Proudly South African. Our Music is great rich in indigenous culture...
I also watched the entire concert on TV and I saw the then President Thabo Mbeki and former CEO of the SABC Dali Mpofu in attendance. It really showed the resilient and remarkeble side of Mam' Busi Mhlongo in that through her battle and suffering with cancer she still remains grounded in her music. It was really touching indeed. Oh how I love her voice!!!
Mamu Busi was such a legend, may her soul rest in peace, thanx to the ladies of song to give her such a send off. She fought until the last min, thank for such healing music❤️
Years later I still come here, heaven knows how this soothes my soul. It might be a sad song however this performance is just beautiful, gotletse botho le lerato fela on that stage❤❤❤. RIP Mma Mhlongo.
Wow.. i had been having urbanzulu album on my drive for 4 years now and never gave it a listen.. but i finally did and my God the song 'Yise Wabant'a Bami' took me away.. Im 27.. Namibian with a bit of zulu knowledge.. she is really a legend.. May her soul rest in Eternal Peace.. Respect..
I remember this live performance like it was yesterday... I think it was sort of a fundraising thing. And this was my fave performance for that night 🤝 music is timeless
