Who is still here? ❤️❤️❤️May her soul rest In eternal peace
I am still here. Indeed may she rest in peace. Also rest in power.
Oh yes she was a star
sihlala khona apha taSipho
Sikhona
Oh Madoda! May her soul rest in peace.
This song haunts me every time there is unrest in Africa. I live for the day Africa will lead from love and not fear. Love is such a healing balm and a powerful force. Africans are so beautiful. Can we just embrace love and acceptance? I have been playing this song on repeat. I've held that stick in her hand and this makes me feel plugged into her spirit that lives on.
How did you get hold of that stick in her hand? What is the story?
She was great talent...
May she rest in peace 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏😘🥰😘
@@cinnamoncinnamon8105 She was almost entranced on stage and came to the edge, sang to us and I was sitting front row. She put the stick down and left it there. I got on stage picked it up and gave it to her. I was just entranced coz I would not do such a thing ordinarily. I miss her energy on stage.
Eh bru.....
True African legend 🙌 and a hero in building one Africa 🌍 👏
Salute 🙏🏼
This should be all over South African TVs and radio stations, every upcoming generations should know about this music.
Busi was one of the main singers in the SA world. Being first impressed by Paul Simon, Black Lady Mombaso and Acapella Zimbabwe choruses my ear bounced on Busi voice. She moved me to tears and always did later on as well. Really regrettable that she did leave us in Mid June after a longer illness, A real loss for SA, May you rest well, Busi
I was 7 years in 1994
There was a radio show on ukhozi FM called abasiki bebunda
This song was the soundtrack
When people's homes were burned, families were slaughtered and burned
Livestock and schools in KZN were set on fire and buses😥😥
who is still here in 2021
Still here mfowethu
I had the privilege to see Ma Mhongo open for Ladysmith Black Mambazo at albert hall ...a third of the audience left after her set...because to listen to anything else would be sacrilege, even them...A true shaman of voice...
The Maskandi queen what a true legend.
She deserves more recognition in her home country. May her soul rest in eternal peace. What a talent Njomane
2020...who would give an arm and a leg to see this lady performing ...
I never got the opportunity to see her perfome 😭

She was amazing,simple the best...
Me
Saw her performing and Lebo Mathosa was in the audience. She called Lebo up and they sang a song together. It was worth more than an arm and a leg. Over 20yrs and I never forget it.
I swear this is one of my favorite songs

I remember the euphoria that overtook me when she performed live and I got on stage. I picked up her stick and gave it to her. I feel so emotional thinking about her spirit. Such an amazing singer.
Aw Busi😭. What a stage presence Busi had. Lucky to consider myself a friend of this soft spoken, humorous, philosophical and informed person. Continue to RIP African Queen.

I am amazed at the way she starts to build it up, gliding steadily to an unstoppable crescendo. Those in attendance must have been serenaded by her beauty and that heavenly voice; how I wish I was there!. May your soul rest in peace Mama Busi. Thanks very much, Bafana Nhlapo for this gem.
I've loved for as long as I knew her music, she's such a powerful force, may her spirit rest in peace, nestled in Jesus' hands. Love you Busi❤❤

Thank you for your energy Busi! Greetings from 2024
Her voice touches something deep thats gets lost in the modern world. She takes me to the beginning.
what an eloquent way to put it. Her voice evokes the same emotion in me.
it´s true and it´s sad that we lose so much, it´s direct contact to mother earth herself - i got to know traditional african music during the 70s when i bought a special record on a flea market - at first i could not understand the music at all, but as i was young and curious i kept listening - by and by i began to love this record and it has a special place in my heart until today - now i found it here on youtube...
let me recommend one song to you - as youtube seemingly doesn´t allow me to send links, i give you the path, ok? if you copy and paste this into the youtube search, you should find it - it has a black cover with a drummer playing:
"monkey d. sound kenya - masai women"
i hope you enjoy and i send love and greetings
Get yourself the Spotify app and you will get to listen to all the Busi Mhlongo you want, and more! You are welcome. Enjoy!
@@friesiamans1966 thank you ☺️

The music of Faso is an inexhaustible source of sweetness.
It allows us to plunge deep inside ourselves and at the same time resonate with our fellow man, Yé Lassina Coulibaly❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
2022 the song is still relevant 🎉💃🏾✨
I saw this lady live some years ago in germany -that was such an impressive concert in my live .....i was really shocked when i heard, that she had to leave us -it still makes me really sad .
She was the greatest singer of all time
She never gets old! I love her in her rested soul. She blesses me very time.
The African rythim is never the same without her , may her soul rest in Peace🕊🕊
The commercialisation of this pure and authentic African music will always be detrimental to the Western Agenda, that is why they'll always push the narrative of trash music, films etc:🤦🏽♂️
May her soul rest in eternal peace 🕊❤
I’m here whose with me ❤️😁
The Mother Goddess of South African music...
You got that right
She summons all the God's, angels and demons all at once

African pride. Incomparable ❤️👌🏽
The in sync of the whole band and Mam Busi Mhlongo was so magical. Well rehearsed and the performances was amazing.
Officially, the most beautiful song I've ever heard. Simultaneously brought tears to my eyes and joy to my heart.

Rest in Peace Busi. Thank you for everything whilst you were here.
I listened to this after being attacked by my colleague at work stating that I wanted her to be fired...while I had nothing to do from what she heard on the rumors 😔 😪
found myself singing this tune after reading on the horrible xenophobia attacks happening across our nation, Yehlisan Umoya Africans!!!
say it again bru...as africans we need to unite
Ngoba kade madoda, sabulalana sodwa!
One of SA's greatest talents!❤❤❤❤

finally phew i found it
This song heals me big time🤗🤗💖💖💖💞
Continue to Rest in Piss 🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️
Would be a good plan to show this on all South African TV stations, over and over again, for the next while! And her "Zithin' izizwe", about foreigners, and we are all one, vs xenophobia.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if Busi's power is stronger than the recent words of the Zulu king?!
What a nice music may your soul rest in peace
My grand mom RIP
LOVE this song! I have it on my mp3 player. Just finished listening to it when I decided to Google her name. I remember reading that she had cancer but I had no idea she had succumbed to it.
Farewell, Ms. Mhlongo.
2024 I am still here ❤❤❤❤
It's a pity we are going to be labelled with criminals that treat foreigners in a ruthless manner. I wish I can be associated with people like Mam Busi.
The Legend Mama Busi.........Wow! ur Legacy lives on
WENA WASE LANGENI SALUTE!
Long Live Queen 🤴🏽 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
