Who do you blame for the Eagles' collapse vs. Falcons?

Nick really stood his ground vs everyone on the show, huge props for not buckling and knowing his stance. I always agree with take the points, so i disagree with him, but his explanation is grounded in reason

Why do you think taking the points there is a better decision? Going up 6 gives the other team an extra down and makes them more aggressive. Up 3 the other team is playing for the tie more than the win and will be more conservative. Up 6 the best case is you win and the worst case is you lose. Up 3 you can still lose of course, but realistically in most games the worst case is going to OT. Especially when going for the 4th down instead of kicking the field goal puts the other team in worse field position and burns more clock.

so explain why this game looked like last year? theres only 1 coach from last year. similar mind set, similar outcome. so we cool with last years playing?

@@connor_phillipz5689i think the principle of it lol
Too many times teams have lost in different situations like going for 2 to go up 1 point and failing. It bites later on and you lose by 1 when like both teams score equally the rest of the way
I see both arguments but i ALWAYS take the points in madden and ncaa for example. I believe in my defense though too

Sorry, Nick. Your argument was lost on your First Thing's First buddies, but the first thing on Speak was this very topic. They made the same case as you did. (But, you said it first!!)
Also could pass on 4th down as an option (about 3 seconds difference vs run). It's all called great clock management. Nick knows best.

I highly doubt that if the falcons got the stop, that they would play for the field goal unless they had a stopped clock inside 10sec, if it was a turn over on downs and Kirk was moving the ball as easily as he did, HE’S going for the TD, Raheem Morris has made it clear that he trust Kirk to lead the offense in crunch time and trust his judgment. That’s why they won.

I agree with Nick. Run on 3rd and run on 4th and have them play for the fg.

Jalen is 2-0 as a starter against the Saints but this will be the first time the battle takes place in the Superdome🏟️ No matter what the end result turns out to be, best believe WE WILL BE READY TO FIGHT SUNDAY!!!😡👊👊💪🦅🦅

@phillybyrd34 cant wait to see eagles adjustment they really understated vs atl. Short week. I bet that's why they looks so bad they put more into this game as they the better team. Regardless of outcome I hope it's a great game

@@dach829 If we underestimated anything with Atlanta, we completely underestimated Kirk's ability to move around in the pocket cuz he was much more nimble against us than he was against Pittsburgh and I think it's safe to say it caught us a good bit offguard..🤦😳😳 Nonetheless, we definitely need to be better against the run and get much better pressuring the QB💯💯I look forward to seeing the adjustments we make in this game as well, but even more than that, I need to see us BLITZ MORE!!!😡😡
