One game that comes to my mind with snes v mega drive versions is alien 3. I think the snes version of that game is the better of the 2. Next time I'm up that way I'll check that shop out. They had a few ps1 games I don't own already so definitely worth a visit.
Alien 3 is a good one to compare, but for me the snes version is massively better in every way! But yeah, definately worth a visit, thanks for watching mate!
I've not had a huge budget this month so not as much as I would have liked tbh, there's one game in particular I left which, I'm still thinking about now..
Great to see retro stores thriving. Also I hope you enjoy Aladdin. I played it recently and it was a bit better than I remember. I'm still trash at it though 😆
Totally agree, we need more places to buy physical games so the more the merrier for me! I did play Aladdin and I really like it, still undecided on the Megadrive or snes version though! Thanks for watching mate!
Top video as always fella. Now that we are on half term I really must get out & do some Game hunting at some shops, further a field. Thanks for the shoutout. I have indeed done serval video on the Tenchu series. I love that the Blackburn CEX looks like it in a old steel mill. Cracking video fella.
Yeah, and it's OK too. Done some digging into it and it's nothing special and certainly not a rarity or anything, but I've just not seen it around ever before! Thanks for watching mate!
I love some indy game shop... err... love! Also, some me love, because I'm vain. Dog Island is basically an RPG-lite for little kids or people that just want to chill out.
11:55 With all the live-action remakes of Disney classics, Disney could really take advantage of their colorful library and create 3D modern games, based on their classics. Imagine a carpet ride section that allows VR users to use the headset (complicated, but wow, could they pull off some impressive visuals). I enjoy the Sega Genesis version of Aladdin more than the SNES since it is much more elaborate in graphics and sound (which adapts the movie soundtrack), more closely follows the story of the movie, and has more character overall. The SNES version is a very fun platformer with the character Aladdin in it, but feels like it's based off a straight to VHS sequel. It's not a bad game. My opinion also may lean towards SEGA since that was the console I had as a kid. I still stand by my reasons.
@@pixelpaul_pxp I didn't mention the downside of the Sega version, but the hit detection is difficult to understand. It doesn't really give you the same impact that indicates you made contact. 'Did only one of those hits land? When did the first hit end and the next begin?'
Will be interesting to hear what you think of the MD version of Aladdin mate. I prefer it but then again it's the one I had at Christmas '93 so rose tinted glasses and all that!
Well having now played both and always thinking the snes version was best, I have to say I think I'm camp Megadrive now! Snes version is still great, but feels like there's more to do and more secret things in the MD version! Thanks for watching mate!

Cex in Blackburn seems to have loads of games in bolton my local gone down hill hardly any ps3 games hardly any ps2 hardly any xbox games
Bolton is my local too and it's been terrible for ps3, ps2, in fact most stuff, for a while now. I go to Leigh more often now as it's a lot better!
