      @@AdrienneEverheart I have been looking into your courses!
      He doesn’t try to impress me or show me a good time. Yet he is nervous in my presence, and shy. He’s only 19. He doesn’t seem to know what to do with me😂
      Do you think this could just be inexperience and he just needs to learn? Or do you think that if he was serious, that masculine presence would be natural?
      I want to tell him that if he won’t impress me, plan dates or entertain me, I’m moving on. I wanna show him “hey, I’m actually high value and what you are doing isn’t enough for me”

    I found you earlier this week and I just love how good hearing you talk about these things makes me feel. Even the times where I cringe when you say to not do something and i’ve done it…I’m like yup that’s it haha…this video I especially love because you’re in my backyard. I’m a Tucson native who still lives there now. If you haven’t come further south of Phoenix you’re missing out! I lived in Asheville North Carolina for three years. I really enjoy your videos Adrienne. I stopped working a few years back and yes...my entire wardrobe was black, gray and neutral! That carried over to my "retirement wardrobe"...I remember the first time I wore red, it felt so weird, lol...so silly. Since I'm home all the time, I live the "pajama life" so I've changed my wardrobe from grey sweats to lots of white, red, yellow, pink frilly, silky fabrics, robes that flow behind me when I walk...pretty slippers, in fact, I'm trying to find a pair of those sling/high heel slippers with the pompoms...you know, the slippers the ladies wore in all of those 1940's movies? I'd love to spend my day in those! :) I started to wear heart-shaped jewelry too and perfume every day. I really do feel girly, in my 50's...for the first time.
    And you are right about the prickly pear syndrome...I was one. Now I'm softer and more approachable! My man certainly reacts better to this version of me. :) ♥
    PS: I've enjoyed your 500 Ways, Get Him Back, New Man Manifesto and FEMM for Relationships. Your advice has changed my relationship from a roommate/companionship/fighting often....to a love-filled, tender, romantic love affair. No joke. You're awesome sweetie! ♥

I noticed as I’m trying to get more feminine, I’ve stopped with all of the black and grey I used to wear and I even stopped wearing dark blue denim. I find that my entire wardrobe is pastels. I think as a redhead, I looked “better” in colors other than yellow and orange. I just love them too much now, so I don’t mind lol

      @@isara26 yeah of course. I learned from Adrienne and others to just feel sad. I listen to music that makes me feel emotions, I journal it all out. I think we try to block our emotions but then we block the release of them too, and the other emotions like joy. I imagine myself sitting with little girl me and we talk about how she is sad, why she scared, etc. I dunno that helps me a lot. It’s better to really feel it and then you can let it go an be happy and emotionally current again ... it’s something I’m learning. We are taught to just shut it down ... that doesn’t help. 💖💕✨ women need to express feelings even just to ourselves we get depressed holding them in and trying not to feel 💖

    • @AdrienneEverheart
      @AdrienneEverheart  3 ปีที่แล้ว +47

      Firstly, you can stop or slow down thinking about him by focusing on your own life. Your brain (boy) will want to go back to what’s easy and pleasurable but you are the adult, you do the driving. Steer back to “what are my values? Hey Adrienne. I practice self-care and am a very clean and neat girl. My husband always compliments me about how I smell nice and look sexy (in a neat way) ect, but he doesn't take time for him to be neat and smell nice as well and that sometimes makes me feel confused and not respected. Especially after he comes home every day from work or when he's at home on weekends lol.

    Adrienne... my boyfriend called me “boss” on the weekend... twice. Once when it was time to leave the cafe “let’s go boss”... and another time when it caught me off guard. I am not in boss mode with him and he is a very big masculine man so now I’m confused. Is it a cute thing he’s saying to be ironic funny or is there something for me to say? Did not feel right - made me cringe a little bit because I hate that boss dynamic some women take in relationships. Do you have something to say in response to that?

    Adrienne, I love your videos and content. Please tell me, as a woman I find it hard to use feminine energy when I'm sick or having a bad day. Isn't using "forced" feminine energy and trying to be sweet when i'm actually not feeling good at all is kinda fake and make us not as genuine as we could be? I'm curious what u think about this! xoxo

    • @AdrienneEverheart
      @AdrienneEverheart  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Being feminine isn’t about being sweet. It’s about owning your feelings and body, without blaming or making other fix it. You feel your pain and own it. Take this opportunity to express your inner poet. “I feel like a wilted vase of flowers today”. That’s just one example I thought up. 😂Come up with your own and really try to find how you feel.

      Sara, I totally understand where you're coming from! Been feeling very low the last few days and have been tapping into my body to feel what I need. Mostly, its been bubble baths in the day, soothing heated blanket and soft, cozy sweats that make me feel soothed. A little chocolate too! My understanding of getting into "feminine energy" is listening and being responsive to what I need on the inside.

    Adrian I absolutely love this video which catches Museum are you in are you in Tucson Arizona you must tell me I'm from Charleston South Carolina and I listen to your videos all the time the man situation here is absolutely terrible not only that half the guys are gender benders one time I had a guy he was really Macho and after I got to know him I found out that he likes to dress up like a woman it's really weird out there now I always listen to your videos and as soon as I get some money I'm going to buy your five hundred ways to talk to a man and I love the cactuses have a good day

    If you are in a relationship where you have lost yourself (like I have), should the woman leave the relationship because the man triggers this in her or should she try to have her own life just the same? I'm asking this because, as much as I try, I always gravitate back to making him the centre of my focus - mostly in a negative way, observing how he doesn't care for me as I'd like.

    • @Drawingyoung
      @Drawingyoung 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I would think it’s better to work on yourself rather than leave, because if this is your pattern than it doesn’t matter who the man is! You can learn to have your own identity and life while still having a relationship :) I had this problem too, and I was able to reconnect with my friends/hobbies/personal identity WITHOUT breaking up w my man. Tho of course everyone’s situation is individual

      Do not leave. Leaving will help nothing. It’s just another excuse to avoid yourself. This work takes practice and talking to yourself and developing new neuropathy ways. I suggest New Man Manifesto to learn more. bit.ly/newmanmanifesto

    I mentioned this before. This sounds opposite maybe for the channel, but it's related. This is also a problem for many women.
    The men all love me after we even chat just a little as friends or on Facebook or in a group. One, after I said I only want friends right now but you can go with me to look at plants...he told me thanks for being so up front. Then later he says he thinks I'm so amazing. That he asked God and there I was. Blah blah. Another one was similar. .l do not flirt at all. I'm interesting and beautiful and successful in my career, extremely independent. I've always traveled thr globe alone and don't feel like I need a man but I am separated now from my husband so they all see no ring. So here's the question.. how do you turn OFF (the energy of who you are) when around the needy men and save it for WHEN you are finally interested in a very good right one? I don't feel I should have to turn off but men are crazy.
    Once you are a lot of, I guess what you are teaching, it's hard to get rid of them. I feel like I even should take care I don't let any guys know my address.

    • @AdrienneEverheart
      @AdrienneEverheart  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Hi Adrienne, I did my Hail Mary pass and was texting my ex consistently for a few days and he made no mention of dating anyone else where he had opportunities to (also given the amount of texting I would assume there’s no one else since when we were together he would never be on his phone). We talked about meeting up because I have some surfing photo ideas and he’s the only person I know that surfs but I haven’t reached out to set up a day and time yet. Since he didn’t mention dating anyone should I assume there’s no one else or do I need to ask that before we meet?

      In The hail Mary you’re supposed to tell him Something along the lines of, “ it would feel really great to meet for coffee sometime and chat what do you think? “I would not worry about if he’s dating someone or not. It doesn’t matter. I certainly hope you are dating someone. 💃🏽💎The hail Mary is about reconnecting and seeing if it continue to unfold after that one date. The three months work in the ABCs is to free yourself from outcome and expectations. Be sure you’ve done this. 🥰🥰

    Hi Adrienne. I seperated from my partner of 9 years in November. We have 2 children together and I devastated. I ended things with him after I communicated warmly about his drinking and wanting to be a wife not a girlfriend. He moved out but continues to contact me nearly every day either about the children, his belongings or if he is poorly. Nothing about us getting back together. I have purchased your ABCs and quantum dating. Should I continue to lean back? Thank you

    • @AdrienneEverheart
      @AdrienneEverheart  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I'm sorry he is withdrawing when given your feelings. He is still in contact and getting some of you daily. The concept behind ABCs is: you do not get me anymore.' Let him speak to the children but HE MUST MISS YOU and the family. "Feels so good you are reaching out... yet I want a husband who is here with me & the kids, healthy and being a family." Then just let him talk/complain/vent at that comment. Repeat it! Then just listen. He will get angry then come back around. Don't play games but understand getting mad and rubber-banding is part of what men go through before they commit. If he asks you to marry him say YES and go to the court house next day. When he does continue to come around, DATE, you have the attitude that he has clearly HEARD "I want a husband who..." Then after 3-5 dates where you and kids put no pressure but just be a family and have fun, you say on date 5-6 "it's felt so lovely to be a family again... so what does this mean for us?" LISTEN just listen! You may then need to rinse and repeat.(re: he doesn't get you anymore!) How long you do this is up to you, but I encourage you limit communication so he misses you, be warm but have your boundary "I want to be a wife, I feel attached, miss you terribly.." Study the ABCs it is all in there! everheartcoaching.com/get-him-back/

      As a person sober for 13+ years I can say this. His alcohol consumption is covering something he refuses to deal with. Could be trauma in his past, wanting to relive "glory days" when he first started drinking, not knowing how to cope with stress of being father/husband/partner.
      Ultimately YOU will never get him to quit, he has to want it. Hopefully he won't have to lose everything like I did before that happens.
      PS- alcoholism isn't a disease, it's an addiction brought about by our choices. Listen to some stuff by Dr. Gabor Mate'. His philosophy and mine are very similar in regards to addiction.

      As much as your love him....alcoholism is a relationship ruiner. It would help a lot to start looking at information about acoholism family relationship dynamics. Otherwise, your kids will be repeating the same pattern as adults. And the fact you are choosing to attempt to re unite with someone who hasn't worked on himself at all says something about your unresolved issues. This isn't a lecture. I've been there and it's a extremely difficult situation. Big Hugs!! ❤
      But when you are ready to get out there again....Angie's advice will help you choose a more together guy. We choose messed up men because of many reasons.
