  • In today's episode we take our first boat trip since we made it to Loreto in Baja California Sur Mexico. We originally planned to go to Isla Coronado but we ended up going on an awesome adventure instead! We happened upon an abandoned salt mining town on the far side of Isla Carmen with a beautiful white sand beach as spectacular as any Caribbean beach. The best part was having the entire island to ourselves. And to top it all off we got to see a whale on the way back to the marina. Another amazing adventure!

I decided to go back in time a little to watch what I missed. Beautiful video, now I know where you got the name for your property.

Nice guys. We did the same. Brian retired at 48. Me well I’m still choosing to work but I own my own business and still love what I do. But I have cut back and I work in the road. Nice to see others living before it’s too late to enjoy it. Cheers and cheers to the road.

After seeing two people at my hi tech corporate job die within days of retiring after 30+ years of work I decided it was time to take the jump. One of these guys sent out a lengthy retirement email on Friday afternoon, so excited about all of the travelling and adventure he and his wife were going to do now that they were retired, and then he died Friday night in his sleep. Really opens your eyes.

Another beauty at the islands of Loreto. Adding the salt mines beach to my list of places to see on one of my next visits to Loreto. Thank you for showing us this beach.

Love that beach. Very quiet. Long run from town to get there, but well worth it!

I love all your videos and this one is awesome 👌
I wonder if I can bring my deck boat and don't have any issues? 🤔

Even though it looks pretty calm in this video, Loreto is on the open sea and in just the few months that I have been here I have seen seas up to six or seven feet.

coming to BCS for first time since 2018. We are going to hangout in LaPaz. Should we come hang out in Loreto for 5 days? Never been there. Only hung out in the SJD corridor

We love Loreto. It's a much smaller town than La Paz. There are lots of restaurants and bars and many boat based adventures. I would definitely check it out

Great informational video! Would you feel comfortable camping in that area for several days?

We have friends who have camped there and had no problems. There is no cell service there and you are 3+ hours from town so it is remote.
