Ahh this brings back memories. MoF was my first touhou game, i remember finally reaching stage 5 after many annoying deaths on stage 4. When I started stage 5, the only thought on my mind was the dread of fighting the moriya shrine maiden, as I knew how powerful Touhou characters could be. When I eventually managed to reach the boss fight, I was overwhelmed by bullets and destroyed in an instant. I decided to try stage 5 again. And again. And again. After many days of grinding, I eventually beat Sanae. I was amazed that I was able to defeat the Moriya shrine maiden and was extremely happy. I then began to practice it until I got consistent at it, and before I knew it, I was beating her on normal without losing any lives, which I was extremely proud of. Despite being so focused on beating Sanae, I couldn’t help but appreciate the music. Every time I heard her theme, I felt really weird… it was a feeling I didn’t know, but I loved. Futhermore, the more I fought Sanae, the more I began to love the music. It made the fight so much more intense and beautiful. I will never forget my MoF stage 5 experience, it was incredible. Therefore, this theme will always hold a special place in my heart. Also great cover as always :)

Damn, I second what you say about this theme being dramatic and I will add, after knowing a little bit more about the bakcground for Sanae and the Moriya Shrine Goddesses it acquires some tragic, melancholy tone to it. Awesome performance. I've always loved the part at 2:33: it's like the acumulation of all sorts of emotions is coming out in a burst of strong, yet beautifully sad notes.

Wonderful performance! This truly does soothe my ears. I've recently learnt of who has now become my second favorite character (after Mokou), Rin Satsuki. Since I don't reckon any official music exists for her, I was wondering maybe you could compose something for poor forgotten Rin? Of course, if you don't do composing, that's entirely understandable. Keep up the good work!
I do have quite a few original tracks that I composed many years ago just for fun. Never shared them though, except with some close friends. Mainly Touhou and Undertale inspired, so I know just a tiny bit about composition. I might share them in the future, and I may also write something for Rin :) We'll see!

@@ViddyWellSA11 Most of my past runs died at Stage 4 itself, because of the sweeping fairy rain and the miniboss. Aya was difficult, sure, but I don't really remember having too much trouble with her.
Interesting, for me it's literally the opposite lol I don't have a problem with the stage itself (I actually like fighting Momiji) Aya still gives me trouble on Lunatic, even after many clears lol
Yeah right now I'm kinda focusing on boss themes because they're usually more well known. But yeah absolutely, I will also be covering stage themes. So far I think I've only done Chinese Tea and the original Bad Apple, so I mean...we're basically just getting started here ;)
