Wow! Really enjoyed this one too! Thanks again!
Hello! Great video! Do you mind taking me to the video where the trail head starts? We are planning of leaving our truck there for 2 nights and ride our side x side and I was curious if its safe to do that. Thanks
Do you mean leaving your truck and trailer at the start of the monache 4x4? If thats what you mean, i think you would be fine. Just as risky as any other remote forest i suppose. If you go down the monache 4x4 about a mile there is a large parking area where people leave trucks with horse trailer and quad trailers. I’d think you’ll be fine there as thats off the pavement. Ive never had anything messed with up there. Hope that helps.
Welcome to the Sierras.
hahahahahaha
100%
Your videos are incredible!
Hey! Thanks James! Much appreciated!
Great Job Brian!
Have you driven the jeep road into Monache Meadow? I'm curious if my 2wd tacoma has what it takes to get up here.
greg c hey thanks for watching! I have driven the road many times in a 4x4 tacoma and once in a 4x4 full size dodge. Personally, i would not drive the road in a 2WD without a 4x4 friend with tow ropes. Most of the road is not bad, but There is one major section (the crux) that is maybe 200 yards long that is steep, rutted and loose with rocks. It can be tricky even with 4x4. I put up a video that shows the entire monache jeep trail from the bottom to the top and you will see that section. If you watch that video, the crux is the section that has a white forest service truck on it. Riding a dirtbike makes it look simple, but you will get an idea.
@@POVLA right on man thanks for getting back to me.
