Everything’s BITING On The River(Except Bass)

In this week’s video we were out on the Savannah River. The river was at its lowest level it has been in the last few years. The fish were biting, but the bass did not seem to be active. We were able to catch a few, but the majority thing we caught were mud fish. All though they give a great fight, they are not the targeted species. They will also smell up your boat if you let their slim get onto the carpet. Hopefully when the water level comes up the fall bite will turn on.

Would like to see a video of you fishing the tidal areas of the Savannah river, around Abercorn creek. I'm trying to learn to fish the area.

I am planing on going that way within the next few weeks. I have 2 videos named (Catching River Monsters in Savannah)(Locating Huge Stripers on Savannah River) those videos were made very close to the creek. I would guess I was about 3-5 miles down river from Abercorn Creek.

The bite has been a lot tougher lately due to all the rain an water not being at a steady level, soon as the water levels get right the bite will also
