Fishing Georgia PFA for BASS! (Public Fishing Area)
We had a couple hours to fish before a storm came in, so we decided to go to our local PFA. The Evans County PFA. We bite was slow at first, but once we figured out what they wanted, they started biting. Stay tuned for more PFA videos!

Fishing a FLOODED Creek For Bass

Due to the weather lately, we have been unable to get to a river or pond. We decided to try fishing for a few hours at some roadside creeks. The creeks were flooded due to the recent heavy rain fall, so I believe the majority of the fish were pushed back further than we could reach, however we did get a few good bites and I was able to land one small bass.

I have been using several different types of soft body frogs in an attempt to see which one I believe is the best. I have come to the conclusion that the strike king poppin perch is the best. Summer Time Struggles (Savannah River)

It was a tough day fishing. The water was at the right level an the temperature was right, but due to recent heavy rain the water was muddier than usual an the bass were just not biting. Luckily Matt catches a nice 4.5 pounder towards the end. The fish had his line all tangled in brush, but we were able to get it in the boat.

In todays video we were fishing a large pond. The water was clear but dark. The water temperature was around 92 degrees. The bite was slow, but we were able to catch a few decent ones and catch a surprise gator on a hollow body frog.
River Monster! (HELP To Identify)

Help me Identity what kind of fish this is. We are in brackish water. The area we are in is freshwater, but a few miles down river it starts to become salt. Located on the Ogeechee River. My best guess is its possibly a Tarpon. Comment below what your guess is.

It was a tough cold morning down in Savannah, but Matt was able to catch this 5lbs striper. It blew up on the surface and he threw right to it and it took his bait and ran.

The water level on the Savannah River has finally returned to normal after being flooded for several weeks. That means tournaments are back on. The Bass in the river are finally getting fired up. We have had some crazy weather lately from 80 degrees to 30 degrees. Thankfully its starting to warm up and stay warm. The bass should start biting very good here on out. Stay tuned for more videos.

Due to high river levels an high winds, we have been unable to get to the river to fish. We decided to try bank fishing local creeks to see what we could catch. Using a weighted black an blue wacky worm produced several good bites an a few fish.

In today’s video, we are fishing on the Ogeechee River in brackish water. The location we put the boat in at is freshwater and a short boat ride down river it turns into salt. We started out fishing for largemouth bass, but eventually road down river to attempt to catch red fish and speckled trout. However, the day was pretty uneventfully with any fish. We ended up catching 4 large mouth.

40 years ago, this was a farm pond that I used to fish, when I was an Instructor with the RIP course for the 1st Ranger Battalion out at Camp Oliver, on Fort Stewart, it was full of monster bass, bream and crappie, glad to see the state of Georgia took over and made it a nice place to fish!

We did try several other things, but they didn’t make it into the video. The day overall was just a tough day of fishing.
@@tidalbassin7246 Yeah it happens. When it’s cold and it doesn’t bite, i usually throw a 3" soft swimbait on a jighead or weighted weedless hook, retrivied very slowly… works for me. Was it silver lake? Did you tried panic pond? Cheers
My latest video I posted is at the same location. I had decent luck on a crankbait. I’ll have to give the jighead swimbait a try an see how it does.
@@tidalbassin7246 cool, yeah but weedless might be the way to go in these waters. Texas rigs with big worms and creatures might be productive too, depending on the time of the year.
😂I don't do freshwater fishing much I'm more into saltwater but when I go there I always fish the over spill creek where the first entrance used to be open. I've hook up quite a bit of bass, and catfish in that small creek. lmao even watch a carp bout pull my brother in 🤣🤣🤣 over a worm
If I was fishing there, I would have targeted more towards brush and lay downs… I noticed you caught one as you let the wacky rig sink in front of that log… try to replicate that

The bite has been a lot tougher lately due to all the rain an water not being at a steady level, soon as the water levels get right the bite will also

Would like to see a video of you fishing the tidal areas of the Savannah river, around Abercorn creek. I'm trying to learn to fish the area.
I am planing on going that way within the next few weeks. I have 2 videos named (Catching River Monsters in Savannah)(Locating Huge Stripers on Savannah River) those videos were made very close to the creek. I would guess I was about 3-5 miles down river from Abercorn Creek.

give you a little advice, use a VMC weighted wacky rig hook. The bullet weight is causing your hook-ups not to be good

I just got my paycheck and I'm trying this spot out tomorrow. I can't wait. I plan on using a spinner or chatterbait along the bank because it's prespawn right now. After a while I'll just sit down and use nightcrawlers and cut bait for anything that will take it. Hopefully some big catfish.

Good luck man hope you catch them. I recommend going to the far left side right in the middle against the bank. Very shallow water but always seen big fish there. Fish super slow to get them to bite.

Dude I'm pissed , I was stationed at FT. Stewart for 3 years and been through Pembroke and Claxton Ga. several times and never knew this lake was so big, and full of Bass , gonna check it out this coming spring !!!
Yea the place is very nice there are 3 ponds to fish you can bank fish a large amount of the ponds or put boat in. Some days the fishing is tough but there are some huge ones in it.
