I love watching your channel. I think since Stuart is such a huge part of your channel…it would be nice if you would highlight him on one of your videos.
I just want to tell you that watching this wonderful tour lifted my spirits!! These past three weeks, after losing my sweet Momma, have been a challenge! I know I was so blessed to have her in my life for so long, but you are never ready to say goodbye! I needed an uplifting night of beauty and wonderment! Thank you for sharing your lovely decorated home with all of us..I consider you a dear friend! Much love and blessings and have a wonderful Christmas!!
So sorry for your loss, may your Momma's spirit guide and comfort you this holiday season and beyond. The beautiful memories of her will last a lifetime.
Can you even imagine how wonderful it would be to walk through Linda Vater’s home. For me it would be an unforgettable experience. I hope at least some of the people appreciated their good fortune.
Linda. Your cottage is so beautiful! I hope you have a wonderful time with your open house. Thanks for sharing. God bless you and your family and Stewart
Everything looks so warm and inviting. Linda, I hope you get some time to rest or at least take a relaxing bubbly bath in your home spa -- you've been working so hard lately! Thank you for sharing your garden-inspired life with us.
Linda…love your channel!!! Thank you for sharing the beautiful Skirvin Plaza! I have so many memories from there. In 1980 I moved to Oklahoma to work for my uncle who was the general manager at the time! It was at the Skirvin Plaza where I met my husband of 40 years…he was a restaurant manager and I worked in the personnel department! I also have 2 beautiful pieces of furniture that I acquired from the Skirvin during a remodel back then!! ❤
The tour was wonderful! 🥰Of course your house was my fav! You were out ☹️of journals! Leah is adorable! Thank You for being so gracious and welcoming us into your home! 🎄Merry Christmas!
Absolutely beautiful house tour! How generous of you to participate in your local community fundraiser. Such a nice way to share and give to your community.
Thank you for the special tour. I love hearing about the memories that some of the Christmas decor provides to your family. Those on the tour are fortunate to see these special touches in person. I am definitely inspired!
I LOVE that the Cottage has a ‘Travel Room.’ In the 1700-1800,s many had a travel room that displayed all the items they had brought from their travels… I realize that is not what you call it. You did a great job combining all the looks together. This is my favorite room of your tour. Amazing to think 12 months ago you were signing papers to buy “The Cottage On The Hill.” What a fun adventure these last 12 months have brought. Thank you for the tour and always sharing your tips n tricks. Blessings, Lynda Kay
Wow what little specials ! The nutcracker of you ! Amazing and clever . I love the twig mulch and garland mulch and the little forest of branches behind the reindeer . Really enjoyed the one today 😍😍😍
With love and warmest good wishes to you and your family. And thank you for being so gracious and generous with your home and life. I appreciate all the inspiration and beauty your videos bring into my life. Thank you for giving us a peak into your home decorated for this tour. I feel so lucky to see it and It is absolutely beautiful !
It was a beautiful way to start the Holiday season. Viewing all these homes was done with great respect and no small amount of admiration. It was a total, joyous privilege!
Love all your decor. I think your office and the great room look the most like you, so those were my favorites. When I was a child I always remember my Auntie Frances and Uncle Hank had a deer head over their brick fireplace. And she always had red shiny brite ornaments on the tips of his antlers. I always thought it was so homey and charming.
Thank you for sharing your home in these tours. A lot of work goes into this sort of thing behind the scenes. You will most definitely enjoy your soaking tub when it is all done. My favorite take away were the antlers with the wreath and pine cone streamers. I would like to replicate that. Beautiful.
Thank you for such great content and for the creative inspiration. I’m a gal that gets inspired by magazine clippings, books, shopping and watching your TH-cam channel. You are in the treat category of my life and I love taking a little time for myself and watching, learning and getting inspired. Happy Holidays to the whole Linda Vater Team and your families.
Linda, I have so looked forward to your Christmas tour since the very first time you mentioned that you were going to be sharing that your beautiful cottage. Everything is just beautiful and tells such a fun story. Thank you so much.❤🎄❤
It is so wonderful that you opened your home up for the tour. Thank you for sharing it with your viewers. I especially liked the mantle decorations in the parlor, and the way you made use of your gorgeous cutting boards with the wooden decorations. I remember going on home tours in Houston Texas when I was a child. I’m in a different part of the country now, where it isn’t the custom to do this.
Beautiful and simply elegant! So much work, how gracious of you to agree to this home tour for your first Christmas in the Cottage. Just curious, where did you hang the pink needlepoint ornament of your cottage that was in your fridge a few videos ago? I’m a sticker, and appreciate all the hours and love you put into the stockings. 😊😊😊
Linda, the cottage is so warm, inviting and full of life! When I watch your vlog, I imagine how amazing it must be for your family and friends. My goal for this season is to be as relaxed and gracious as Linda! Thank you for inspiring me both inside and out!
It’s lovely. Though I agree that the garland above the window in your office is best suited for children! All the rest is beautiful and hope we can see the cottage in the evening in the future. Hope you take some time off and enjoy your son and his wife.
Both one and two of the Christmas home tour is a beautiful trip of Christmas past and present. The flow of detail and presentation of your memories relating to Christmas past and present is so captivating and enjoyable. Thank You Linda for sharing.
Your Christmas home is just lovely. So homey. I feel like it is very “honest”. That how you decorated is for you and your family and not just to impress the tour guests. You have a gift for creating an enveloping atmosphere.
Your house is gorgeous! I’d like to see you do a video decorating the home of someone who lives in a very small home. Our home has small rooms and when I decorate for Christmas, it looks more like clutter than festive decor. I sure could use some guidance.
I am a lover of gardening and have followed you for a very long time. We are very close in age and we downsized 2 years ago. Your cottage is beautiful and I am a,axed how quickly you made it your home and even adorned it so beautifully for Christmas. God’s blessings at this special time of year! Merry Christmas!
Your family room is very masculine & the parlor feminine. Nice that you did that for Hubs, Jamie & Johnny to enjoy. Thanks for the tour. Enjoy the 🎄Christmas season!
Looks wonderful. You have Stewart and Lea to help but that’s a lot to do to get ready. Congratulations to you and all that help. Love the Blue. My wreath has all the blues on it because I will leave up until January. Love all your blues in your living room. Just great!! 😊
Thank you for sharing your home, it looks great. That hotel, they sure do not make them like that anymore. The woodwork was stunning. Hope the Home tour was a success. Now you can relax and enjoy the season. ❤🎄
I loved loved this part of the tour! Was waiting all day to see it...I so love how you incorporate family and stories of all that is a part of your decor....that is truly inspiring...and I loved those large amaryllis pots...I only have the single...so, I'm going bigger...and those little mice and greens! so so cute! I absolutely love your style!!!!!!!! I truly have gained so many ideas that I am going to incorporate into my home...the shelves, the wall galleries, and so much more!!!! I hope to get to visit your cottage and meet you some day...Love and Christmas hugs coming to you from Canton, Ohio!!!
The Skirvin Hotel was built in 1911. Way earlier than the 1930s and 40s, as you mention, but just before the rest of your neighborhood, that's so much older than your 30's house. 😊
Hi from Annie this i a wonderful house you must be very proud and grateful to have such a nice place, I love all the decorations in every room it is fantastic.
Oh my goodness! My mother made those stuffed Christmas trees and gave them away every year to one and all! She’s still with us…101 yrs old!
Please tell her Merry Christmas for us ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you for the special tour. I love hearing about the memories that some of the Christmas decor provides to your family. Those on the tour are fortunate to see these special touches in person. I am definitely inspired!
Linda - your house looks wonderful for the neighbourhood tour.
I love how you put garland as a filler around the amaryllis and I especially loved the sweet felt animals on top.
Your home is so beautiful, I especially love the great room.

This tour made me go down memory lane---a wonderful nostalgic time.
The tour is wonderful! I especially loved your latest email newsletter. It spoke to me. Very wise you are!
...I appreciated it, too. It validated true feelings that can creep in with any one of us. I appreciated the candor. 👩🏼🌾💚 =^..^=
I kept those words in mind while I was decorating these past two days!
Part Two was just as fun and inspiring as Part One to watch…….ahhh! Loved every minute of it.
