xavier is literally the scariest mage for me, not only can he cc you but his damage is absolutely insane in late game 😭 i played 1v1 with my friend and he literally one shotted my kagura

The reason why it's common to lose when there's a roam selena, is because they used her like a mage not as a support.They prioritize kills than providing vision for the team.As a selena main, my play depends on my team, if they're good at the game, then I'll play a little bit more aggressive.
I agree with your thoughts on this. It's just really rare to find a good Selena player that understand what they ACTUALLY need to do.

Nothing more annoying than selena roamer, unless I play barats. Even then why not just mid lane? Most selena can't shoot straight

I recently change my role from roam to mage, because its really hard to rank up
solo when using roam, so I decided to change it. and it really does help me to have a better chance of winning those rank matches. I have never played mage before and if i did, i play soo bad at it, so i decided to watch tips for using mage and I encounter this video which is perfect for me because I decided to use Xavier as well. i hate having selena roam too. she is completely useless if she can't hit her stun, which is honestly not that hard to dodge. I generally don't like having support type roamers like angela, estes etc but having a selena usually feels like it is a 4 v 5 in highrank. god bless tank roamers honestly
4:31 most of the people hate selena roam because most of the time they don't hit like Natalia but overall i hate to dmg roam in my team like selena, Natalia, hilda ,and masha because they will never initiate team fight like tanks nor counter play ganks like supports/healers.
Roam selen can be a threat, if only that person is good with her. Dmg roams imo can be pretty good, against certain comps or if that person is good with them. I love playing mage roam ( yve and xavier especially) because anytime you do damage it keeps the enemy on their toes and it makes your teamates aware of their health to intiate
Yeah, but unfortunately, we cannot control the quality and picks of our teammates in Solo-Q. Can only roll with the punches.
Im soloq we use damage roamer because we don't want to rely on our teammate to get kills

Problem with xavier is the over-reliance on the passive stage 3 AND his super long cooldown of the second skill which is his only CC (could sometimes be unreliable)

What's your opinion on scy piercer?, do you think its better to increase your overall damage with sea halberd, pen items and stuff rather that buying sky piercer
ive seen a funny idea on reddit, where you build sky piercer on diggie, so you execute enemies even in your egg form. maybe you can try that out in a game :3

For Xavier I use two holy crystal for maximum damage with lightning truncheon and genius wand. It is like one hit delete build
Man i used wishing lantern on Luo yi, and belerick melted like a mage , and he was having radiant and athena both seeing this sad 😢 even though I'm on the Winning side
just curious, as a Terizla and Ruby main, the new Thuderbelt is best used for who (other than hyper Fredrinn)? Because i prefer War Axe+Blood Wings combo for those 2 exp compared to Thunderbelt.
IMO Thunderbelt is kinda disappointing so far for me. But it's probably really good on heroes that already have good base DMG (Terizla) so you don't lose out too much, especially on wave clear. It'll also be nice on heroes that already have high DEF or scale with DEF e.g. Edith, Barats, Gatot.
It does feel disappointing but apparently ruby is good with it. You have to be hyper aggressive for it to be really useful and get it pretty early on as well
Yo! Try the new Thunder belt on Fredrinn. Is the new Queen's Wings good for him? The two cd reduction, dmg reduction, and damage increase for his ultimate look good for him.

But after the recent item update, she has become more stable!

Recently used Xaiver. Im an all around player and have always used any heros but then I played brawl one time and go the hero at random. Im on my 179 matches now. Never had any heroes that go past 150 matches cause I get bored easily. And now my main hero is Xavier, thanks for the tips. Still having a hard time deciding wether to use the old build like clock destiny or the new ones.
Clock has been revamped this patch so you might want to read up the patch notes to see what changed. It's basically not a default item now for burst mages like Xavier anymore.
@@RubyRubyRubyGameplay yeah, thanks. I watched your other videos and Im gonna try and use your items. The difference would probably be Divine Glaive. Divine Glaive for tanky magic resist heroes and Genius wand if they dont build magic resists. Thanks again, your vids are very good

🤣 Yeah I haven't played Xavier in awhile. Not used to the range much, and auto aiming alot too. I tested Lantern and it indeed doesn't work on the Lord, so yeah definitely Glowing Wand working it's magic there 😂

For 3rd item would it be better to get glowing wand before the lantern? Wondering at that stage whether you’ll have enough dmg to proc the lantern often.
That's a fair thought and I'm considering it for future builds
Depends on what you want really, because the lantern has CD, I'd prioritise cd over damage so i can spam more skills thus more sustainable damage/CC and also proc the lantern. My accuracy is not the best so that is also one of the reason just in case i missed to hit the enemy i'd have my skills ready in no time hehe

You should try the new buffed Zhask he has a good buffed that even my counter part lane struggled to farm he's very good poking and a good mana consumption and first skill buff

@@zackfoster1900 Trust me. I've been spamming Zhask gold lane since the update in adv server. No MM, I mean it no MM stood a chance. They all need to call their roamer for help(which is good for your team). And if your roamer helps you early game, a kill is pretty much guaranteed. Think of him like Harith but higher damage. Also since you're a gold laner you don't need to save your Ult for teamfights. When you see the enemy laner at half HP, just use Ult to kill them. They can't survive even under the turret

16:09 for wishing lantern: it's not unlimited range, if you lock map after casting you can see it will disappear in a mid way, it's kinda half of the map but not half(range)

I've already tested this and IT IS unlimited range. I've even done it from my base to the enemy base and it works, so yeah. Go test it yourself if you don't believe me lol.
