Tips!
Obstacle Clearing will give access to better biomass, so you spend less time collecting fuel. The new biomass burners have an input, so are automatable.
When holding E to collect leaves, hit tab to open your inventory, then exit it. You can now continue to collect without holding the E key.
Hold off on making too many power shards out of slugs, you get a better yield out of them soon enough.
You can tame lizard doggos by dropping a berry near them. They will periodically bring you random items, some rather late game. Extremely useful for unlocking drop pods, selling for awesome shop points, and a couple can be used for crafting things to trigger story progression.
how'd i only just find out my two favorite boys did my current favorite game? suppose i've got a new satis series to binge
Some tips:
You can tap space instead of holding it when in the crafting menu for continuous crafting with little work from you!
Also if you hold alt and scroll you can switch through different hot bars which you can bind even more stuffs

Also, if you press the E button while on a resource you will auto mind. Without having to hold the button

I do suggest not skipping all the ADA dialogue cuz i think some of the story stuff is through that (maybe)
It is, and ADA now can sass the he'll out of you so it has that fun aspect included.

You can also replay the old messages. "O" to open the recipe book, then click the tab for messages.
Been playing. Got to the oil phase finally. And have cold power set up finally. My favorite change that surprised me was I can finally convey your belt into the bio generators. I love all of ADA's new dialogue

Those ramps didn’t line up with foundation because you used the 1 M ramp and they will almost never sync up its 2 and 4 M world lol.

It's a good thing to try and work towards somersloops through the mam as the overclocking it can do will double your output but not double the cost

Definitely not the best, but certainly a worthy addition to the factory automation genre of games. I hope you two have fun with it! 🙂
Why definitely not the best?
I assume you think factorio is better, but for some people (like me) factorio is worse
It's doesn't have as much customization and decoration, it's 2d, which i feel limits creativity even further, nodes are temporary so you spend a fair amount of time going back and forth moving your miners, the existence of enemies who can destroy your base makes the game very stressful, you don't have any cool movement (such as zip lines), the list goes on
It is far from "definitely" not the best, it might not be your favourite but it's a lot of other people's.

Its not an automation game. Its so much more. Also the part count for the space elevator is so low it is very easy to hand jam the final parts, especial with sloops.
I asked factorio, but ok, this is good enough I guess.
This is better than factorio for a game overall.
