The hydraulic system of the Unimog works demand oriented with the Load-Sensing-System, to the end that when being started the equipments only use the amount of energy they need in that moment. Through a special valve block this new hydraulic system is also compatible with attachments that need classic constant - current power. The tire pressure system „ Tirecontrol plus“ has been constructed completely new. Now the preconfigured suitable tire pressure for the respective operation can be set automatically and comfortably on the display, a process wherein you can choose between „street“, „sand“ and „bad road“. An almost custom-made technology for operations in agriculture that always entail frequent changes between loose and firm surfaces in which case it is paramount to drive with as little ground contact pressure as possible. The proverbial good driving qualities of the Unimog off-road are partly due to the portal axle since they ensure an increased ride height. Alex's Customs when I was younger a friend of mine had one with a camper installed in place of the bed that had an entrance from the front cab to the back with a full kitchen 2 beds and a bathroom it was actually very comfy. Took it up to Moab a couple times and that thing still handled the off road like a beast

I love it, I need it, I can't afford it :))) Although where I live, most people would consider this a "must have tool". For 2 years I moved in a remote location in the Carpathians Mountains,at the border with Transilvania. Not sure if I'm gonna win the lottery since I can't buy tickets here :))) But I'm widely open for sponsors :))

They have a smaller model, but it's arroud two meters wide. It would be nice they build a new model less wider for narrow paths like the first models to use in farm labours.

This guarantee one of the best for farming and hauling uses, if one is ever on toughuddy terrains or during winter seasons, it will do most jobs easy.

Depende do gosto de cada pessoa. Apesar do unimog ser um fora de estrada muito bom, vale destacar que os russos também possuem ótimos veículos para esse fim.

Trust me, this thing kills it in swamps and the like. I’ve driven em deep in Louisiana hundreds of miles from anything resembling a big town, and I haven’t gotten one stuck yet.
They need to do it in mud and not on a man made track.. Take it out in a natural setting.

Yep, many take these things onto tracks but not proper off-road places.
I'm very lucky I drove many Unimogs when I was in army. This new one is less handsome than the old ones. But better I hope.

Booty Tickled for the 2014 U5023 version, Mercedes-Benz gave an estimated 8 mpg City, 16 mpg highway. I don’t know if that has changed with the 2019 model, though
