Great idea to talk through the hooks. For those new to sea fishing with bait, using the right hook can make all the difference where you're fishing. Is the knotless knot the same as a snell knot and do you really need a perfection knot on a dongle or can you use a snell?
Have been using varivas hooks for years now. Ive been using the catfish and the full circle hooks for a while, giving them a go tied on with a loop knot, with the bait hair rigged. Mouth hooked fish every time. Would say to anybody ordering the catfish though, if for example you regularly use 4/0 BME, then you only want a 2/0 catfish hook, they are huuuuuge in comaprison size for size. Excellent hooks though. If theyll pull in 200lb Wells Catfish, then any fish in British seas is no match for them👌👌

You could snell the hook, but we've found it works better on a loop such as the perfection loop.
