The setup for the butter scene done earlier in the movie...and the payoff of that scene appearing hear...is my favorite funniest gag in the movie..LMAO...Still funny after all these years!
I still drive by that spot DTLA to see how much things have changed since the 1976 movie Car Wash. The restaurant was a self defense school for a while but now it's something else, the Market Big Al's is still there but the name has changed and the apartment complex that was across the street from the Car Wash is still standing. The Car Wash was tore down back in 1989 i was one week to late to take a picture. I remember asking people where that car wash was an finally someone told me but i had been passing it an NEVER knew it till 1990 the exact spot 6th street an Rampart DTLA. I'm soon to be 56yrs old been watching the movie since 1976 when i was 10 and NEVER get tired of it or the soundtrack. Allstar Cast in that movie. Everyone mentions a young George Carlton BUT what about a YOUNGER Danny Devito!???. Yep look it up. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🙂

Oh and to make someone LOL when i was a kid AND older like 18yrs old first job working in a restaurant we would flip butter like that onto the ceiling 😩😭😂.. idk if it ever fell onto someone's head but yes i did that when i was younger like (Geronimo) aka Henry Kingi did in the movie.
See I watched the video of "I Wanna Get Next To You" that shows them all through. In the beginning, she's running to get to work--but slows down and struts to the door when she sees TC in his car 😂
Kinda iconic with a couple of good story lines but some rambling stupid stuff too.. Rose Royce's album was absolutely perfect for this film. I miss the 70's culture, times and cars. When I want to reminisce I pop this up and I remember the times it brings a smile to my heart.

Hollywood is known for substituting fantasy for reality. The reality is, a women that hot would not - first off- be working at a coffee shop, like Flo and Alice. Second, her pick of men would not include a grown man working at a carwash - that can only take her out if he wins free tickets for a concert. The shot of her walking to work (where the director tells her to slow down) is better than any porn available today on Pornhub.
